Kufri Holiday Resort

We checked in yesterday evening and things started to get worse. Snowfall which started when we were enroute to Kufri Holiday Resort around in Shimla kept going until the next day. We were given the cottages on the upper Side. After this snowfall the room service was denied because staircases were covered with around 2 to 3 feet snow. Post that we were shifted on the lower deck rooms. Overall amazing trip and a very nice place to visit.

We booked this Resort at last moment and we found it a good deal to stay here. The rooms are good, the Resort is nice, staff is courteous and the food is great. We reached Around 11 PM in the night, the staff was nice and supportive during this hour of the night also. We found the breakfast menu really good and tasty. The place is away from crowd of the City and hence its peaceful. Overall, I would recommend this place to stay.

Location of the Kufri Holiday Resort could be the best selling points. All the major attractions such as Kufri fund world, Naag temple, mule rides etc. are in the radius of 500-800 meters. Property is big and has ample parking space. The Kufri Holiday Resort gives great view of the Himalaya Hills covered with snow. Breakfast is good and offers many choices, I especially liked the "Chole and Bhature". Overall a good experience.

Hotel's location is good, rooms are of average size, chilling in winter but adequate blankets and room heaters provided. The best part is food. Buffet food is awesome, very delicious within very affordable price. Service is quick, staff is very courteous. In winter or peak season when its difficult to find Kufri Holiday Resorts in Shimla, I recommend to stay in Kufry holiday resort and go for day tour to Shimla.

I stayed for two nights in this resort. All staff including reception, house keeping and restaurant was very welcoming. Food is tasty and has good variety. However, the facilities like pool table and kids rooms were not available as they were under maintenance as informed by staff. View from room was exceptional and very soothing ... But bathroom could have been better.

The stay was rejuvenating and the drawbacks were duly compensated with excellent food and warmth of the entire staff. Thank you mr. Yash thakur for making us feeling us at home.
It was a wonderful stay overall, however certain changes will help 1. The access road to rooms needs repair. 2. The balconies need regular cleaning. 3. Hot water supply should be 24/7.

The resort is very big with such a beautiful park and cottages. Have ample space for parking, found snow in the resort area, which was an amazing experience as there was more snow as compared to outside. Very nice staff. Had buffet breakfast and dinner there. The taste was not very good but they had various options. The resort building is old but well maintained.

A wonderful place full value of money, We had snow fall in the morning and it was heavy, they Kufri Holiday Resort staff was very cooperative, I wanted to special thanks to one of the driver for helping me and my family for the safe escape from the snow clad roads he came with us and without any money he did as for his guest. A wonderful place and staff.

The location was scenic and beautiful

The location of the resort is just amazing, and view from the room is awesome, you can just sit there for hours, absolutely a visual treat. Food is nice too. Stay was good with few minor hiccups.

Hotel has excellent view when you are staying in cottage, cottage space is good, well structured. Food quality is also good especially in veg.

Pleasant stay, good in cleanness

Good location, the Kufri Holiday Resort layout is good but desperately needs a make-over given modern day expectations. Food is good and staff is courteous. The location has a good overview of Shimla, nothing much to do in vicinity unless one wants to take a horse ride to the view point.

Staff is really polite and friendly

Good view, great environment, good service. Must try once.
