Kumarakom Wood Castle

We stayed for a night at this premium serviced apartments, run by a family. They personally attend every guest, very down to earth and lovable people. The food provided by them was excellent, especially the breakfast which made us feel very much at home. They arranged a boat trip for us (at a very reasonable cost). That was also a nice experience. My 9 yr old son got attached to them quickly, and he was running around as if in our house. Overall very good experience, and would recommend this place with 100% confidence.

The property was good and the surrounding area of the property was peaceful and calm. The room was so comfortable and spacious with all the modern amenities. The staff was well mannered and they served and managed everything on time. The food was very good and delicious just like homemade. I really had a great experience with my family. Must recommend the property to others.

Hotel Wood Castle is located at very prime location from where you can have access to every activity like bird century, boating and of course bar and restaurant. Owner and staff have been very useful and interactive. Do buy stuff from their store like traditional antiques. They are value for money and much cheaper then anywhere else.

We stayed in Kumarakom Wood Castle a premium serviced apartments maintained by a family. They treat very well and provide you with homemade breakfast which is very rare to find. The museum below has some nice artifacts to buy as well. The bird sanctuary is walkable distance and we can get boats also arranged from the Castle itself.

This is a great homestay. The homemade food cooked by aunty is amazing and exactly what you need. Rooms are clean, fresh and comfortable, with ac. Definitely worth the money and family friendly. Very homely vibe and welcoming. I wish had booked this for longer duration. They also arranged a boat ride for us at a reasonable price.

The stay experience was nice. The location was nice, peaceful and easy to reach. The owner was nice, friendly and very informative. The cleanliness of the property was good. One thing I didn't like, there was waste water at the property. I would like to recommend this property to others.

Our stay was very comfortable. The host went out of the way to help us. They arranged for a wonderful boat ride with excellent lunch. Beds were very comfortable and on the whole it was a memorable stay. Wish, had more time to stay on.

This was a good homestay experience for me visiting as a couple here. Located at a walkable distance from the houseboat/shikara boats. Host was very helpful and served us delicious authentic kerala breakfast.
