Kundu Hotel

Short walk to Airport minimal rupees by Ricshaw available just outside Kundu Hotel. Non-ac room was spacious. Take ac if humidity is too high as the stuffiness is a lot at night in Siliguri. It's a noisy urban area down but our room was on the inside. Manager was concerned and professional. Good enough lodge for a nights transit. You can find the Kundu Hotel by telling the taxi guy to go to Jama Masjid mosque, Bihar more. It's across the flyover near aquarium Hotel. Many budget restaurants around.

Baghdogra is a transit Airport. It is a gateway to Sikkim, Darjeeling, Bhutan. A significant location, but do have very less expectations about the place. Biharmore is like 8 min car drive from the airport, and the location is more like a crowded area with many shops and restaurants and this Kundu Hotel is on the first floor of some restaurant. The staff was good and helpful in arranging taxi, early checkout etc. You will like it if you have less expectation about the place.

The room was clean and dry, the washroom was clean. The staff was helpful. It's strategically placed for catching an early morning flight but the Kundu Hotel cab charges 150 bucks for the 3 km to airport which is ridiculous. As good as the room is seemed unjustified as it didn't have AC and other amenities you expect in that budget. Overall it's okay for a one night stay.

I just took my chance as all other Kundu Hotels were out of budget. Even though i was traveling solo, city also was totally new to me, i am very happy to stay here. Very comfortable. Just like home. No luxury. Decent budget friendly. Hot water. Relaxing. Safe. Good staff. Food nearby. Market area. Location was very near to airport. Safe. Room service and food on order.

Nice location, clean rooms. Glow sign or banner can be bigger to locate the Hotel easily. A wedding party was going on in the adjacent building so we heard the noise till late night, other wise stay was comfortable staff was helpful. Overall good experience.

Near to Bagdogra Airport. Reasonable rent. Nearby Kundu Hotels food is available at reasonable cost. Can go to Siliguri by bus at Rs 20 per passenger. Tourists coming from the nearby tourist locations stay in the night to catch next day flight.

It's a good place to stay near the Airport. The washroom was impressively clean what I needed the most. The room is small but its worth to stay there. If you can't bear hot weather better to choose the AC rooms.

Very close to the Airport that's why I booked. Room was big, bright, clean towels provided, hot water 24/7 nice clean big toilet. Over all experience was very good, friendly helpful staffs. Value for money.

Its average. Cleanliness needs a little improvement. Hotel is near Bagdogra airport so it's a convenient place to stay if you are going to board your flight from this airport.

Bathroom should be changed. Smell is coming but very good staff support. Bathroom should be improved.

The Kundu Hotel is neat and clean. Good to stay here.

The location is good for transit to Bagdogra Airport for early morning flights. The Hotel provides transport to Airport at very nominal rate.

Minimum facilities for night stay to catch the next day flight to Bagadogra Airport. No geyser at Bath room but immersion heater was provided to heat the bucket of water. Bed Bath rooms were clean.
