KURUVA ISLAND RESORT & SPA

One of the best resorts i have visited. The receptionists were always smiling, really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The environment and the atmosphere helped us to relax. They provided pick up and drop from kannur airport to the resort, located 70-80kms away. The route to the resort was surrounded by beautiful greenery and hills, offering breath taking views. The honeymoon cottage with jacuzzi suite was well-equipped with all needs. From the balcony, we could feel the cool breeze of the river. We just need to cross the road and there is a direct path leading to the river. A very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relief to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The view of the sunset at the river was mesmerising. The food was excellent, the chef ensured that our pallet needs were met. The KURUVA ISLAND RESORT & SPA ambience was lovely & very serene. We look forward to coming back. Feel very revitalised after spa treatments at sanskrit spa. Excellent reception. Thank you all.

Hi! had been to kuruva island resort for the weekend. The check in was quick for which i was grateful as we were tired. In the meantime, mr. Vishnu asked us what we would like to have for lunch, which he got it prepared and delivered to the room by the time we settled in. It was delicious! the rooms were spacious and clean. The place is located amid-st a lot of greenery and the kabini river just 2 mins walk from the resort. Was quiet happy with the place. The staff are all courteous. A special thanks to mr. Anup for taking extra effort for our request to get us some jackfruit. On the whole we had a relaxed stay. The only sore point is if we take the shorter route, the last bit of about 30 kms, the road is really bad.

The best thing about staying at this property was the manager pal and the helpful team. Pal ensured we had a comfortable stay and accommodated all our requests on priority. Even offered us a room change (upgrade) due to disturbance by a big group of guests. The room categories are a little misleading. Kabini rooms and honeymoon cottages are the good ones, valley view rooms could be a disappointment as there is no view, they are just next to the pool away from the river. Best of course are the honeymoon cottages. Breakfast was decent, nothing too fancy. We ordered dinner from the limited menu and it was great! all in all, a decent stay with good food and amazing service.

Myself and brother were too tired due to our busy schedule on daily basis and thought of relaxing in a good place. Kuruva island resort lived upto our expectations. Property is very well maintained. It's very clean and pleasant environment which relaxes your mind. Bedrooms are too good and huge. Staff are too friendly and their service is too good. The way they treat their customers is too good. Although i am giving 5 stars just because of the cleanliness and service by the staff, i have 2 negative reviews. 1. Staying for long is a challenge because food is costly. 2. Swimming pool is too small. We can only get into water but not enough place to swim.

Kuruva resort is a cozy little resort beside river kabini on kerala-karnataka border, near to wayanad. The resort is less than 2 km away from famous kuruwadweed and offers well maintained, clean and spacious rooms. Food is decent as long as you stick to kerala cuisine, albeit on costly side. Service from staff is top notch and all of their staff is very polite and extremely helpful.
Kuruva resort management maintains well sanitized rooms, performs temperature checks and cleanliness and santisation of cutlery, glasses etc. Is well kept. A very recommended getaway.

A beautiful place away from home. You would love the hospitality and humbleness of the staff here. They are friendly to the core and would guide you across the area and beyond for you at most pleasant to enjoy your stay here. They have reasonable packages available comprising of safaris and many more activities to keep yourself engaged and have a relaxed stay here. The river is just at walkable distance and you could enjoy a nice cool dip in the river. A must visit area

Nice stay with beautiful surroundings like kabini river within 100m, tribal paddy fields, thirunelli temple, activities like zipline, bamboo rafting, night safari and trekking. Rooms are well arranged, clean and tidy. Staff are so cooperative and generous towards our requirements. They have a good inhouse restaurant which serves you good food without compromising the quality and quantity. We had a nice experience staying in kuruva.

The staff are very friendly and are ready to help us. My special thanks to mr latheesh (manager) for his travel plan suggestions that helped us a lot. I took my pet for a walk from the reception area through the walkway connecting to the entry gate, and then along the main road (right side) leading to the riverwalk side, and entered the resort thru back door (for riverwalk. Places to see: thirunelli temple, kuruvadweep island.

Excellent service and very good food and spacious rooms, keep rooms closed - monkey menace. Airtel desk not work, in a way it’s good to be away from phone.

Staff are good and helpful property is ok not worth the price that we pay. The price is too high same price u can get a five star KURUVA ISLAND RESORT & SPA in mumbai. Rest all was good the breakfast spread was good and ala carte food also for lunch or dinner was good

It was a great stay at kuruva island resort, one shouldn’t miss the night safari which will be organised by the resort. Overall pleasant and awesome experience. ?

Friendly staff. Good view from room. River behind the resort makes your morning view amazing. Resort staff also arranged a Jeep for us who took us through famous destinations around.

Its memorial trip wonderful experience everything is gorgeous we all enjoyed lot i suggest to visit and make my trip rate is so reasonable and easy to booking

Kuruva island resort and spa is a very beautiful place located next to the kabini river. The rooms are clean and the food is amazing. The staff are wonderful and very friendly. They are all very helpful. Most importantly the night safari was great. Wish we could go to see the sunrise in the morning. I’d highly recommend this place to visit when you go to wayanad.

We had a great stay for 2 days at the resort. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The food was prepared according to our request. Spa facilities should be made in-house. The bathtub, pool and the access to the Kabini river was a good highlight.

The stay was ultimate. Had booked a honeymoon cottage which had a beautiful view of the greenery and the roar of the kabini river was so loud it could be heard till the balcony. A shout out to the chef as the food was delicious and worth every penny we pay for the food

Had a wonderful stay at the resort with the staff making it a very homely experience. They take care of all your needs. The food was really good and the room was clean. They also arrange safari and we had some good sightings. Overall a great experience.

Great for family visit. Excellent location on the banks of kabini river overlooking the kuruva island. We had a great time staying and food is delicious. Rooms are quite spacious for a small family and have one of the best working wifi i have ever used. Staff are friendly and possess great photography skills. They made our visit extra special with all the memories. Planning to visit again soon.
