The only regret that we have is that we have to leave this wonderful home. Yes, it feels like our own home, or that of close friends. The place is about 5-6 km from kumbakonam town and located in a beautiful, serene location. It is so well connected and yet in the quiet village of thippirajapuram. It’s en-route to the thirunageswaram & oppiliappan temples. The stay was home away from home, tidy, spacious enough & equipped with all amenities required for a comfortable stay. The property itself was pretty new with a lot of thoughtful & beautiful touches. On our entry, we were pleased with beautiful and peaceful surroundings, the spacious vintage touches, fish pond, birds, and the plantation all around. The stay was equipped with everything and every little detail is perfectly thought out and the space couldn’t be more perfect. The pricing for this stay is very nominal compared to the value they delivered, nothing comparable ! the entire family were cool, kind-hearted, extremely friendly and full of warmth people. They were open to have great knowledgeable conversations and ready to help in anything that we needed. Mr. Viswanath (army veteran) has progressive and socially conscious ideas and involved in the surrounding community’s welfare. Our interactions with mr. Viswanath and granny garu were truly enriching. Even my daughter (1. 5 year old) enjoyed the host’s kid company to the core. Even after returning back, she still remember’ s them. We felt at home at every instance, we met them. They treated us like their own family. For me & family, there is something amazing with the place and the hosts family. I found absolute peace and happiness here. The location, the evening breeze at the balcony, enjoyable discussions with the hosts, serene time with the cows, brought a detox to the mind and soul. It’s a perfect getaway for anyone who is looking to take a breather from their busy urban life. For such lovely people, peaceful location and the experience we had, i knew that i will surely go back again, quite a few times (especially in the monsoon.
