L D HUT

Our stay at l d hut was a comfortable and a memorable experience. The rooms were decent with a large bed where two people could sleep comfortably. Hot water was sufficiently available. During power cuts, backup power would be turned on instantly. While there is no heater available, the heating pad and blankets were enough to keep us warm. The view from l d hut is beautiful especially in the mornings when you can see the snow-capped mountains in the distance. The location is also quite convenient as it is a short walk downhill to the city. The caretaker mr. Amir is friendly and reliable. We could ask him for anything we required. He arranged a campfire at night and also gave us great advice on our trip and sightseeing. Thanks to his efforts, our stay in pahalgam was fun and hassle-free.

So it's a nice, well maintained and clean cottage with a 24 7 caretaker. Basic kitchen for hot water maggie and tea is available, no meals are served. I went to ld hut during 10december 2022 and snowfalls happened that day, so the temperature went down to -8, so main problem is that you won't get room heater only electric blanket is available which will not won't on invert-er if current goes off and geyser for hot water is available. So don't except any 3 or 4star amenities and in peak winter it can be difficult for few people to stay there, but rather than that ld hut provides warm hospitality and view from cottage is magnificent, plus it's 5 min walk to main market. Specially i would tell about caretaker mushtaq, gem of a person. He was very polite and helpful in every way possible.

Stayed for 3 nights at ld hut, a cute 6-roomed accommodation served by hill bhai and manzoor bhai. You may get other accommodations in pahalgam but won't get hill and manzoor, who made our last leg of kashnir trip superbly memorable. They somehow made us feel so much at home, provided everything possible we had requested for, including special arrangements for my kid, arranging a local person to help with an emergency medical requirement, provided guidance for smooth local tours within pahelgam, and what not. These two loving, caring and efficient people make ld hut special. If we come back to pahalgam again, apart from enjoying the snow, it will be majorly for hill and manzoor.

This is a very conveniently located, lovely little place, slightly off the the main pahalgam market. Pricing is reasonable. View from the hut is breathtaking. Rooms are clean and cozy. If possible, get an upstairs room. Stairs are a bit steep. The caretakers, mansoor is very jovial and helpful. If you are reasonably fit, you can easily walk to the market and back. However, if walking is a problem, the road is motorable. There is ample parking. There is no room heater or food available here. We visited in mid-november and the electric blanket was adequate for us. We carried our own electric kettle, so tea, coffee was not a problem.

It was a good experience staying here. Hotel was near to market, but still quite far from noise. Good location, slightly up the hill, awesome 360 degree view. Host manjoor bhai gave a nice breakfast and arranged everything we need from food to boon fire. Room doesn't have heater, they have electric blanket, but power was almost cut for most of the time. Though host manjoor bhai took good care and provided us multiple blankets, hot water bag and angithi(coal heater, arranged boon fire outside room, enough to keep us warm for a night. Rooms are bit small in size, but worthy of the price.

Care taker manzoor was ready when we reached the property. Room was tidy, also seemed good deal considering the location and the view. Close to main road and has cool front yard with majestic mountain view. Has wifi and heated mattress. When we came down from pony ride with numb body bon fire was ready also hot water was available. Over all it’s a good stay. Note: kashmir has planned load shedding. You won’t have heating facilities 24/7.

The property was absolutely stunning, with beautiful surroundings and well-maintained facilities. But what really made my stay exceptional was the caretaker mansoor bhaiya. He went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. I felt like a valued guest throughout my entire stay. I highly recommend this L D HUT to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable experience. Trust me, you won't be disappointed

Hotel is stabilized in main market, property location is good, L D HUT staff mr mansoor bhai is very good men and behaviour is also so good as a friend and family members type. Food not available in L D HUT but tea/coffee available in L D HUT. Rooms are clean. Hot and cold water provided by property but electric kattle not provided. Room heater system not provided but bed heating system provided. Overall good experience.

The location was mesmerizing. The rooms were good enough. The caretaker manzoor bhai was amazing.

Ld hut is located very close to main market where all sorts of restaurants available. Rooms can be improved on the ground floor. It looks dingy. Mustaq the manager is very well mannered and professional. Had a pleasant stay. He helped me in hiring taxi and fixed good rate for me. Thanks to his benevolence

1. Very good behaviour of staff. 2. Clean bed and washroom along with 24 hrs hot water. 3. Cooperation in all respects very good. 4. Light tiffin and kashmiri kaha always available. 5. From room window you can see showy peaks. 6. Location wise fantastic surrounded by snowy peaks. 7. Within 2 to 3 minutes walking down there are good veg & non veg restaurants. 8. Overall very good.

Manjur and amer bhai are very nice persons, their hospitality is appreciable. Only tea, coffee and maggie are available at this place. Other food items are available in the main market this hut is located just 100 m away from main market. Only thing to concern is its steep way from market.

Best place to stay at Pahalgam ..we visited Pahalgam in June 4-5… here we feel so cold at night at this time ….the cottage have amazing view though out of hut and from the room also… walking distance from the market…so good and friendly hospitality we got there by Mr. Hilal and Mr. Manzoor…so good and helpful people they are…always ready at service any time …love to stay there…surely will come back in winter at LD HUT…
