We stayed at The Hut Hotel in Pahalgam on 15th April. Our experience of staying at the hotel was very bad. The owner seems very rude. The blanket, pillow and quilt cover seems to have not been changed since last use as it has many black spots. We felt very bad when he misbehaved with us for shoes which we took inside. No one told us that we should keep shoes outside and he was arguing about hot water. We really felt that someone was putting too many restrictions on us. We were lucky that we spent only one night there. We would like to advise to owner please provide clean mattresses, blankets, pillow covers and clean towers and please make your hotel guidelines clear to tourists if you want to ensure that customers follow them It is also appearing that owner is not allowing eating in his hotel premises. I felt that He was seen arguing with other customers who had taken packed food in his hotel premises.

The location was the only thing good about this property. We paid around 3.2k per night. I don’t know if this is too less for pahalgam, but it’s no Switzerland in terms of infra. The beauty of pahalgam is not comparable but apart from that the infra, the environment was not comparable. The room was tiny, we had 3 luggage, so there was no place to move in the room. There were no amenities other than electric blanket and geyser. Not even a glass ! There were no availability of mineral water or food. Just tea was available and they were heating the mineral water provided by us for drinking.

Good stay .. walking distance of 2 min to main market.. service great .. one should try as you can easily access market

Nice and cosy stay. Located little higher than other hotels at main market so got good view of the snow capped mountains from the window. I suggest the hotel to have a kitchen to supply some breakfast and refreshments to the guests so that we need not step out of the hotel for food.

Room was not so good and the service was not good. They didn't provide towels water

Amazing location. Love the front place and also the friendly behaviour of the staff. But miss the fooding, otherwise excellent staying.

Firstly the hotel is not actually a hotel but a tiny hut with tiniest rooms smelling like hell.It has no security.If a person is in problem there nobody come to help. The windows were wrapped with plastics(God knows why). In such a cold the rooms has no heaters or air conditioners. When we went to the place nobody was there,the hut was locked we waited there for 1hr. After calling them several times they came.We went inside after watching the condition of the rooms and we immediately canceled our stay there and went in search of new hotel. It should be rated as a one star hotel,I don't understand how could have someone given a 4.7 star rating to this.Maybe fake reviews and ratings. I request not to recommend this hotel to anyone or else it will be a worst nightmare for them. We stayed for 1 day and Aamir was the person who was assisting. He was Humble and Polite. He helped us to book the horse and car for visiting nearby sites. Recommended for single day stay.

Reasonable price homestay, warm welcoming staff, helpful throughout the visit, calm and peaceful place!

Our experience was not good for the following reasons: 1. Extremely small room 2. The temperature went to -22 and there was no room heater. 3. No electric kettle in -22. They are providing hot drinking water in jugs and obviously the water was cooling down within half an hour(what else do you expect in -22). 4. No facility for providing even some utensils. We wanted to bring outside food and wanted them to heat it for us and they didn't have that facility (which I assume to be a very basic one). 5. Glasses and towels weren't clean and the towel had a bad smell. 6. No power backup. My wife woke up in the middle of the night just to find out that electric blanket wasn't working IN -22. 7. Bad room service. I asked to replace my jug of water and he asked me to bring the jug to the kitchen (kind of self service ) but when I insisted he came to the room and took the jug. The only thing I liked was the view and they provided a cup of tea and some water to clean our shoes (which in this hotel seemed to be a big facility 😂)

the rooms offer excellent value for the price, but i rated it 3 stars because the tv was not functional. the front desk staff were cordial, polite, and attentive, always accommodating our requests without hesitation. however, the frequent power outages were a drawback. while the property does have an inverter, the interruptions, especially at night, were frustrating. this issue might be seasonal, as i stayed there during winter (december 23–26, 2024).

Hotel view is good but to much power cut issues also food available, great for location market it very from this location
