LA CALYPSO BEACH RESORT

Highly recommended basis location just on the shore with private beach on baga, just a minute walk to brittos bar and restaurant ( it's a must go) la calypso has a beach shack, we got complementary drinks (beer and mocktails) for 1 hr (7:30 to 8:30 pm) daily till we stayed. Food is just okay, but you can walk to any of the beach shacks offering great food. Staff at la calypso is courteous, property is divided into 2 sections before reception and after reception (towards the beach, 1st part have deluxe spacious rooms and suites and towards beach are the cottages. They put the live telecast of ipl near their shack area beside beach. Buffet breakfast was very good with a special recommendation for cheese omlet from live kitchen. If you are traveling with your spouse or family, recommended to pick suite or cottages. Property have pool, gym (very small, casino under renovation, spa ( was closed during our stay, parking space within premises. Pool water is clean but highly chlorinated. We enjoyed our stay at la claypso, big thanks to la calypso owners and staff.

We came with a family of 5 adults and 2 children for a duration of 4 nights/5 days. We were received quite refreshing with cocum juice. Reception staff is very helping and gentle in nature. Also housekeeping staff attentive and compliant. Restaurant is very good in ambience and food yummy and delicious. Overall experience was awesome. Suggestions if they can add a dressing mirror in each rooms which should have more categories. Rooms are little old which should need renovation. However 5/5 for location which is right on most happening baga beach. This resort has direct access for baga beach with private restaurant and shack on the beach where they serve drinks and food with karaoke nights. Finally, if you want to experience calmness of south goa in north goa with most happening private beach, it’s la calypso

It was quite a pleasant stay. It was our first family trip to goa along with our daughter and they made it all the more entertaining and memorable! play area, swimming pool, amazing breakfast options, courteous staff, special mention to himanshu who was so thoughtful of our lil kid during breakfast and mahesh near the beach area who kept us entertained with his stories! we had our anniversary dinner on the last day and it was amazing. Additionally, every food item ordered in the room was well prepared and the way it should be. Kudos to chef! there was no inconvenience at all during our 5 days stay there! i will certainly recommend this to others and enjoy a beautiful location with all the possible options. That's it

Will definitely go to la calypso again. This is the only property which has direct wide access to beach and food is good. There is a nice la shack also. So from a campus perspective it is 5 star. But from a room perspective it is 2 or 3 star. Balcony grills are completely rusted and the water drainage in balconies are never cleaned etc. Especially going on a weekend paying prime prices you will be disappointed. But campus makes up for it. They have premium cottages and wooden cottages which looks very nice from outside. Probably need to grab a deal on those next time

A very good beachfront property located right next to tito 's lane 2 on the beach. Nice resort with almost all amenities working except spa and casino. They provided us with seaview cottages. It felt like living on the beach. We were also provided with complimentary unlimited drinks at their beach shack. Must to note that they arrange surprises for guests like they know you from ages. My wife along with the manager planned my birthday at midnight. It was indeed a nice one. Staffs are very friendly and professional. Excellent stay

Location is the best, right next to baga and easy access to many shacks and night clubs food in la calypso shack is tasty morning buffet options were limited but the taste was good i stayed in a super deluxe room - very spacious but it is on the other side of beach and shacks. Need to walk through reception area to reach the beach that's not a problem but you will not beach view from the room. For that you need to select the cottage option. Staff is friendly. Enjoyed the stay

The stay was good with good staff and really very good hospitality. The food was extremely good and the beach being just 1 min from the LA CALYPSO BEACH RESORT, makes it a scenic place. The vibes of baga beach is exhilarating and staying at la calypso is just so fun wherein one enjoys the power beach owing to proximity and also the LA CALYPSO BEACH RESORT premises gives adequate space to relax in the pool inside. La calypso is a good. Place to stay especially with kids. From the LA CALYPSO BEACH RESORT itself we have access to beach witha great view. The pool is also very big, neat and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast is also good. The bathroom in our room is having stink smell which is the one i didn't liked about the LA CALYPSO BEACH RESORT, otherwise it's an amazing place to stay

Room is big, neat and clean

La shack offers good food and ambience (comparing to other options outside at baga beach. I think we spent some quality time there along with delicious food. It's worth staying there. And yes, must watch the sun set - good view.

Lacalypso property is pretty decent. The staffs are very supportive and takes care of all your needs. Beaches are accessible all the time and the security staffs are also very vigilant an who is entering the property. I would suggest this to be a must go option.
