La Estoria, Goa - IHCL SeleQtions

The resort is an old property just taken up by ihcl and hence what one is assured of is a kind, welcoming staff with exceptional hosting skills. As a new venture there are a lot of hiccups too - they don’t have a functional spa, kids area or a bar(eats) by the pool. The restaurant- trattoria is mostly italian and lacks a varied menu. Asian food or sought after sea food is also not available right now though it’s mentioned on their menu and one has to step out to enjoy a meal. Breakfast spread is great though. They intend to fully open up in a couple of months and hopefully then keeping in mind the service and staff it shall be an unparalleled experience but for now, there are better options available nearby in the same price. They are also under renovation and the top category room has no bathtub as mentioned. The resort is close to the beach, a 5 minutes walking distance and located on a very happening candolim street and proximity to many good sundowner spots is also a short drive. Overall, we look forward to visiting again post they start all services.

We recently stayed at La Estoria in the pre Christmas days. The hospitality, the festive decor, the welcome to the La Estoria, Goa - IHCL SeleQtions was too good. The staff did their best to make our stay comfortable from those at the La Estoria, Goa - IHCL SeleQtions reception, restaurant - Trattoria, room service - ever smiling, helpful and courteous. The breakfast options were excellent and covered several cuisines. the kids in the group could spoil themselves with the delicious fast food options. the location was a bit interior and away from the main road and the beach. But we didn't mind the extra walk as it felt quite safe to walk alone and crossing the main Aguada Siolim road gave us several options to shop on the way. the proximity to this area also made exploring & trying out new dinners every time fun. The Xmas vibes of the area was worth experiencing. the La Estoria, Goa - IHCL SeleQtions also hosted a nice kids party on Christmas eve and distributed delicious baked goodies in all rooms!

i stayed at this La Estoria, Goa - IHCL SeleQtions for three nights and had a great experience. the staff were very polite and helpful, always making sure i was comfortable. the La Estoria, Goa - IHCL SeleQtions is clean and well-maintained, and the food was delicious. the location is perfect—candolim beach is a short walk away, and the nearby markets and resto-pubs are easy to reach. even though the La Estoria, Goa - IHCL SeleQtions’s spa was not open, they arranged pick-and-drop service to the taj aguada wellness center. i also want to thank the staff for helping me get my bracelet back, which i had left at the spa. they handled everything without me having to worry. overall, the La Estoria, Goa - IHCL SeleQtions is in a great spot, close to other properties, and i had a very pleasant stay. highly recommended! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

location is 5 minutes' walk from the Candolim beach and close to the market. Food at the La Estoria, Goa - IHCL SeleQtions was excellent, If anyone wants to dine out there are plenty of good options nearby including beachside restaurants. Amenities are excellent, staff is polite , courteous and always smiling

Although this property is not on the beach, still it is close to the main candolim road. Breakfast spread is really good and so is the service. Staff behaviour is top notch. The property has recently been handed over to ihcl group and hence they are still working on amenities.

I find the location of La Estoria, Goa - IHCL SeleQtions is good. Not on main road but not too inside. Also the breakfast was good with lot of options; for kids as well. We had our father’s birthday during our stay and they did decorate the room with cake very neatly.

Hotel is not so far from candolim beach, food is excellent, room and services are good. Overall good experience

It’s a beautiful property and at walkable distance to candolim beach. The breakfast spread is good and the staff is friendly. The pool is lovely and the property is close to all good restaurants.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning.
