La Grrande Malar

Hotel location was good and it is close to few tourist attractions and restaurants by walk. Check-in was quick and staff see to be friendly and helpful. We booked an executive king room and the room and bathroom was spacious. The room had huge windows with curtains. The room lighting and ac was perfect. We also had a big smarttv in the room which was a plsu. Initially, we requested to change the room due to some bo and they took care of it right away. Housekeeping was done on daily basis and room was kept clean and tidy. The sheets and pillow covers were all bright and clean. Overall, we had very good stay except for the bo issue which was not an issue once we had a different room.

Location is the best part about this La Grrande Malar - in the heart of white town. Beach, cafes, churches - everything is in less than a km's reach. Rooms are comfortable. Staff professional. Room service - responsive, just a bit slow. Parking space is limited, and that's the biggest issue if u r driving in. They stuff cars one after the other, and taking the car in and out is a huge pain. However the security guard assists in all possible ways. My personal experience with food in the La Grrande Malar was not great though - overpriced, and quality not upto the mark. Overall- if planning to travel without a car, this is a good La Grrande Malar for a decent stay

We went for a vacation to pondicherry and booked this La Grrande Malar for 3 days. The rooms are very clean and the staff are courteous and quite helpful. The location is great, very near and walkable distance from promenade & rock beach, aurobindo ashram and lots of cafes in and around white town. The cafe opposite this La Grrande Malar has the best-est food in town. Scooty and two wheelers for rent are available nearby. Also there is a dj on the top floor of the La Grrande Malar. So overall a very decent and comfortable stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting pondicherry for a vacation.

La garrande malar is a La Grrande Malar at great location in pondicherry. Rooms are spacious, neat and clean. For my 4 nights 5 days stay with family here i found it safe and peaceful place to stay. All the spots are walkable from here and it saves a lot. From this place we enjoyed walking in pondicherry. Vinayagar ganesh mandir, aurobindo ashram, promenade/rock beach, pondicherry museum, botanical garden, sri murugan cafe for great south indian taste are nearby. Very easily we can get auto/cab for paradise, eden beach visits. Staff is helpful and cool. Overall a nice stay here.

I stayed at this property between 2nd-4th oct, my experience was great. Property is centrally located and at about 1. 2 km from the beach. Rooms were clean and cafeteria is beautiful. The chef mr. Bharat is an excellent cook and make great food. The only issue i faced was with the parking, they have space available for 5-6 cars, though they have a team who do the valet parking but it would be great if they can arrange some more parking space. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Rooms were awesome well maintained, spacious. Breakfast buffet was very tasty. It’s in the main location, heart of french colony. Also promenade beach is half km away. Hotel service was also really good. Only con in our experience: wifi was not working. They were fixing it but we couldn’t access in our stay. Rest 100/100. I recommend this La Grrande Malar without any hesitation. Best part is it’s really affordable. Best La Grrande Malar in around 3k budget

I stayed for 3 days in the La Grrande Malar. It was a very comfortable stay with impromptu house keeping service. Special shootout to manager subhash and karthik they made is more special. As i reached early they gave early check in and always ready to help and attentive to the questions and service. The location of the La Grrande Malar is very convenient and located near white town and rock beach. It could be a must stay in a budget.

The La Grrande Malar is in a prominent place and all the necessities are in walkable distance. Also, this is the only La Grrande Malar that has parking facilities in the area. The staff were very courteous and they even arranged bike rentals for us. We had booked a superior queen room. The room was very small with a small window on a side. That was their only disappointment. Otherwise the rooms were clean.

Location is best walkable distance to rock beach can improve on maintenance and buffet variety. Helpful staff.

I am on a business trip to pondicherry and i chose this La Grrande Malar on my friends recommendation. One of the best La Grrande Malar, i have ever stayed in. Right from the reception to room service to housekeeping, aaj the services have been excellent and exemplary. Keep up the good job team la grandee malar.

Such a neat stay! Loved for the hygiene and services they provided! The best I could say! We requested for the hairdryer and the iron box but they didn't actually provide us with the same! Apart from all this the stay was excellent!♥️ It's just a 10 mins from promenade beach! Just go for it! Worth the cost!

Had an amazing stay at the La Grrande Malar. Staff is very polite and carers to all requests. Mr shubhash helped us make our stay very pleasant. Roof top barbecue restro bar is must visit.

Nice place to stay. Room was clean and all the necessary items was available. Staff behaviour was very good. Brakfast was on order basis. Buffet was not available.

It was a nice experience, the La Grrande Malar is at the place where all must visit places are nearby. We had a nice stay for two days, the breakfast was so good. Staffs were friendly.
