« La maison Ananda » ( Risong family ) is a fabulous place to stay. The bamboo cottage is very clean and confortable, great amenities, on a peaceful garden ,in a quiet area but close Garamur village ( shops, ATM..). In front of « Ananda cottage » the restaurant. « Enchanting Majuli » offers you a large choice of meals . You can also taste traditional « Mising »( tribe of Majuli) thali !! Succulent, cooked in the fire in front you. But the best of this place is the hospitality of the owner, Monjit Risong who is very helpful and friendly. The staff is too very attentive and professional. I was already there last year !! We are a French couple ( 66 and 69 years old) , we spent 10 unforgettable days in this paradise !! We recommend highly this home stay !!

Very charming bungalow, very quiet and confortable, peaceful garden, staff very helpful and friendly, close to the enchanting majuli restaurant. Best place to chill and to visit majuli island!

La maison was an excellent choice. Monjit is a great host, always providing good assisrance and touring advice. The kitchen and dining was comfortable and a good range of local foods. A range of accomodations right in the center of majuli. Majuli cottage stay

We had booked Bamboo Cottage. In appearance, it is unique but had issues that needs to be addressed. Understandable that it is made out of bamboos in Missing style but had so many gaps that can bring in cold air during winters and during rains too. The geyser in the bathroom was out of order, and we were shifted to a deluxe room in their sister hotel enchanting Majuli which had many limitations in food veg. There was no bread at breakfast and many items on menu list were not available. The room cleaning was average. In fact there was stained bedsheet and smelly comforter. I would also like to mention there was no staff available for our check in for over 30 minutes and the contact no was also unreachable. I hope hotel Management addresses these issues.

The property was easily accessible. The staffs were really very good and co-operative. The surrounding of the property was peaceful. The amenities provided by the property were nice. The property was cleaned and secured. Over all it was a memorable stay.
