La Mira Beach Resort | Rooms in a Homestay

This was a property I found from make my trip. As there was only one previous review, was a little sceptic of taking it. But as i was planning a night out with my 3 other friends, i thought i will take the risk, as the property photos looked promising. First of all the google map location was not very accurate. But the caretaker was waiting for our arrival. The check in was a breeze. This is a small property of 4 rooms, with direct access to the beach. Of the 4 rooms 2 are sea facing. Clean and spacious rooms with all facilities including refrigerator, coffee maker, in-house travel kit, nice bath and toilet, a/c and wifi. The location is silent in the midst of the village with direct access to the beach. Excellent place for a weekend stay

La Mira stay was comfortable. The homestay was close to the beach and one can enjoy the extension of the Alleppey beach. Rooms were clean and spacious. All appliances and furnitures were well maintained. Washroom was clean and there was no challenge in getting continuous water supply. However, there is no arrangement for food at the homestay or nearby places, and one has to rely on online ordering. As per the homestay manager, they are working on the food arrangement. Once the food part is taken care of, La Mira can become a great homestay at Alleppey.

The property is located very near to alappuzha beach. In fact they have a private beach-like area. Easy to reach the property. The property don't provide food. We have to get it ourselves from nearby restaurants or online food delivery partners. We can take the food inside the room. The property and room are neat, clean and well maintained. Ps: it's better not to go to the private beach-like area. I could see the native people shutting near the beach seashore. So to have fun better to go to the main area of alappuzha beach.

It's bang right in front of the beach with few coconut trees outside the property. I'll give it 11 out of 10 stars for location. Just open the back door and head to the beach. Sashi, the owner is a nice, humble man. The property is well-maintained along with taps and shower heads to wash off the sand before you enter your rooms. We ordered food from zomato. As of now, there is no restaurant in the resort. But sashi is planning to start it soon. The only negative thing was that a few ants were roaming near the door.

Pros: 1. Close to railway station 2. Very helpful and supportive caretaker 3. Spacious and clean room 4. Backdoor opens to the beach Cons. 1. No restaurant attached to homestay. But then Swiggy and Talabat delivers real fast, so it was never really missed 2. The beach itself is filthy. I can't blame the property for that because its not a private beach. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

The stay is right by the alleppey beach, rooms and bathrooms are newly built and similar to a 3-4 star La Mira Beach Resort | Rooms in a Homestay. I will definitely stay again at this place, only thing to improve is the service but we overlooked it as it’s like a homestay. The caretaker told us they are opening up a restaurant on terrace which will make the experience pretty good.

I am lucky i found this property which actually didn't let me make me feel is a homestay. The property manager is a kind man who did his best to ensure we are fine and completely satisfied with all the amenities provided. Thanks to him. Although the sea shore isn't a safe one but the view is worth.

Price are bit on a higher side but location and property is good

Room was big nice and tidy beach is a minute walk from room you can watch the sea from the terrace of the building host was very nice

It was a short stay but probably the best in alleppey, about a km away from the railway station. Brilliant sea view rooms and amazing host
