I usually enjoy a quiet and peaceful kind of relaxation. Though we had gone to Chennai for a two day stay to get our visa to the you except for an hour of business, we relaxed in the La Woods hotel (1Km from us consulate chennai) room, which was cosy and comfortable. All facilities provided by the La Woods hotel (1Km from us consulate chennai) were good. Hot water round the clock, a small refrigerator, a locker, nice comfortable bed, Reading lights, kettle to make yourself a coffee or tea were all of good quality. The complimentary breakfast with idli, sambar, 3 varieties of chutneys, pongal, vada, bread toast, egg curry, juices, fruits, cornflakes or chocos, was also superb. Above all the staff were all smiles, and gave a warm welcome and kept our stay pleasant. I would definitely recommend this La Woods hotel (1Km from us consulate chennai) for those who wish to visit Chennai for any purpose. They also provide a free drop to the US consulate on the day of the interview and arrange for a paid drop to the VAC.

Stayed at La woods this weekend. Have stayed here previously, liked it and hence decided to stay here again, in spite of having better rated La Woods hotel (1Km from us consulate chennai)s in same price range. The room we stayed in had a/c problem and there was no fan either. While we were sleeping, someone rang the bell and said they need to keep some plants inside, I don't know what the urgency was. After 15 mins, we got a call from reception saying some maintenance work was due for the room and if we could shift. Since we were not happy with AC anyway we moved. Later we came to hear we were asked to move as the room we were staying in was part of a twin room and they got some guests for that. The new room was smaller, don't know why. Was too tired to argue, thankfully the AC was better. The breakfast spread was also average, felt it was better last yr. Overall except for location, nothing great about the place. Unlikely to visit again unless there are absolutely no options.

I stayed at La Woods for 2 days. The location is great, just walk-able distance from Spencer Plaza and convenient for you S Consulate. The rooms were spacious enough and clean. This La Woods hotel (1Km from us consulate chennai) though looks a bit more expensive than the regular budget, will definitely not disappoint you aglfter paying the amount . It is located in a prime location, 2-3mins walk from shopping mall and main roads. Room was ready when we reached and properly arranged and cleaned . Almost all facilities were available and staff were extremely well mannered. Food served at the restaurant was also very much acceptable, even for North Indian taste . I stayed with my parents and am very satisfied with the value for money.

You have to acknowledge the hospitality right from the door man to the manager on duty. Maintained very well despite the odd wear and tear here and there. A clean, good smelling room and some good food to compliment that. I personally liked the bar for having my preferred brands. Would recommend for a quick stop over stay at Chennai.

It is a nice La Woods hotel (1Km from us consulate chennai) opposite to Spencer Plaza Mall, Mount Road, Us Consulate, Egmore and Chennai Central are not far from this La Woods hotel (1Km from us consulate chennai). Rooms are neat and tidy, staff also are very cooperative. Food is good but during break fast they do not have much variety. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would love to stay in the same La Woods hotel (1Km from us consulate chennai) if opportunities come in future.

Conveniently located.. Close to railway station and about 40mins drive to the airport. The rooms are of okay size and has comfortable beds. Breakfast menu has a reasonable good spread and kind of okay. The only negative thing I can think of is that sometimes the room feels suffocated when the AC gets switched off automatically. If the room windows could be opened it would have been a lot better. Otherwise pure value for money La Woods hotel (1Km from us consulate chennai).

The stay was good. Room was neat and clean. Food was good , could have been better.

It was very satisfactory experience and I especially would like to mention Mr. Sankara Narayanan at Reception who allowed me to early check-in even though it was not informed in advance. The quality of service is excellent. And location wise it's centrally located but still quieter.

We went for Visa interview and this La Woods hotel (1Km from us consulate chennai) is very near by to US Consulate. Hotel environment is so hygiene. Room was clean and nice. Food was also very tasty. Service was a little bit of a slip up but overall - good. The location was to our requirement. We could have our small meeting there as well. Staff knew English / Hindi which was very helpful.

Rooms are big which was very good for our business meeting, staff were good, both room as well as bathroom were very clean, breakfast what they provided was excellent, we stayed for one day over all our stay was good in La woods

It was one of the best stays I had till date. Totally worth for money. The added advantage is that it is in the heart of the city. We had a warm welcome by the staff. Even though our stay was only for two days, we enjoyed it.

I must say perfect stay perfect rooms amenities very decent staffs. Will definitely like stay again and will recommend too best location accessible for everything.
