Lagoon Sarovar Premiere Resort, Pondicherry

Our stay in the property was pretty good and unlike few of the reviews that we had read, we had nothing much to complain about. The room is spacious and well kept. Inspite of being in the middle of rains, we didn’t have any mosquito issue. The staff are pretty friendly , especially in the restaurant. The swimming pool is a big plus point here with a separate kids pool section which is a big help when you are travelling with kids. The pool attendant is also very vigilant. They have floaters also. They generally also provide a paid boat service in the lagoon which was not available due to the rains. They have a chess, table tennis etc. boards. However the kids indoor play area is absolutely a wreck with everything broken. Since it was raining the whole time , it was very difficult to keep the kid engaged. The food and drinks are a bit over priced and there is a massive fly problem during breakfast which is a bit concerning. Apart from that we had a great stay.

We especially appreciated the peaceful environment, which allowed us to unwind and disconnect from the usual hustle. The food served was delicious, with a variety of options that catered to all tastes, and the service was top-notch throughout our stay. The staff members were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist, adding to the overall pleasant experience. One of the highlights of our visit was the lagoon and the range of water activities available—these kept us entertained for hours. The swimming pool was another favorite spot, perfect for both relaxation and fun. We ended up spending most of our time enjoying these amenities. All in all, it was a wonderful weekend getaway that left us refreshed and happy.

We had a great stay at Lagoon Sarovar. The property is well maintained and had various amenities and activities to spend your holidays. The lake view is an added bonus for a Pondicherry trip which is otherwise centred around beaches. Though the location is away from the Pondicherry city centre, it’s a good choice if you want beach access as Paradise beach is nearby with activities as well. The access road to the resort can be improved; also we had difficulty accessing the resort on one day evening as a temple festival blocked the way to the resort and we were stuck for half an hour on the road.

Pleasant Stay at Lagoon Sarovar Resort, Pondicherry We had a wonderful time at Lagoon Sarovar Resort. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and had a charming antique touch that added to the overall vibe. The backwater setting was serene and perfect for relaxing. One of the highlights of our stay was fishing by the lagoon — a simple but memorable experience! The resort also had fun indoor and outdoor games that kept us entertained throughout. A peaceful getaway with a rustic charm — would definitely recommend for families and friends looking to unwind!

Very comfortable stay with enough facilities available to keep the children occupied. Water sports for both adults and children is a bonus charm for the resort. Food was good but could be better. All the staffs were friendly and very helpful.

It's wonderful Experience...Resort location and facilities are at extreme. Recommended for families to enjoy the stay. we liked all amenities. also.kitchen is very good and all dishes are great. overall we enjoyed it

Overall good. Cost was on higher side on stay and food. Spacious resort, restaurant and room. Should provide buffet for lunch and dinner as well.
