Lagoon Sarovar Premiere Resort, Pondicherry

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Lagoon Sarovar Premiere Resort, and it truly felt like a slice of paradise. Let me share why this resort left such a lasting impression: Stunning Location: Nestled by the lagoon, the resort offers breathtaking views of lush greenery and serene lotus ponds. The tranquil setting provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. Family-Friendly Fun: The resort boasts an array of recreational activities. From air hockey and billiards to table tennis and foosball, there’s something for everyone. The large pool, surrounded by tropical vibes, is ideal for a refreshing swim under the sun. Delicious Dining: The restaurant, with its lagoon view, served mouthwatering South Indian and North Indian dishes. The attentive service made every meal a delightful experience. Immaculate Hospitality: The staff’s warm and welcoming demeanor made our stay memorable. Their responsiveness and genuine care added to the overall charm of the resort. Property is pretty good which is surrounded by back waters. Stay wqs good but can be improved as they charge as a premium property. Pros good and clean property with back waters. Paradise beach is ~2. 5km away from city hustle bustle cons service can be improved as we ordered a drink from the pool and we waited for 45min an nobody appreaed and then we left. Room amenties can be improved further like i paid per night including tax for deluxe room and itbdors not even have hair dryer in bathroom. Room floor is not up to the mark, lot of stains are there n can be improved. Since i was having deluxe room and it has windows but can open as lot of noise due to dg sitting outside. Complained about it but staff didnt bother n said its deluxe room n u cant open windows. There was no fridge in the room or minibar. Since this property is pretty far from city~and they dont have any provision to rent a car or two wheeler. Food was ok with very limited options in their breakfast menu and dinner menu. Overall it was nice atty if we can ignore the above points but they charge as premium property there is hell. Lot of scope.

The resort is located near the back waters and the environment was so pleasant. All the staffs from the security, receptionist, room attender, house keeping, chef, restaurant manager, service boys, vallet parking staff, everyone was so humble and very responsive. The room was very clean and well maintained. The bathroom was very big and was so neat. The package which we booked had a complimentary breakfast. There were a lot of variety available for vegetarians. The dishes include a continental with a mix of south indian and north indian cuisine for breakfast. The chef mr. Jagan was so polite in taking the feedback. The amenities do include a very big pool, carrom, table tennis, cycling, shuttle, etc. Wow what a great relaxing time we had there with all these well maintained factors in the resort. A must try for everyone with great feel.

The resort is a decent 3 star facility, however the staff is great, the hospitality and sense of service is great. We went with our kid, they have good amount of activities/ dedicated space for kids. Swimming pool and other facilities were well maintained and equipped. The best part is the proximity to the backwaters, it’s very tranquil at weekends hours to watch still, clear water. You can ride cycle along the lagoon or do water activities. The resort is at comfortable distance from white town and other tourist spots. Additional tip- the rooms have android tvs, if you log into your netflix ott accounts, do remember to log out!

Location is excellent. It is located beside a lagoon which allows multiple water activities at the resort. The rooms and amenities are clean and hygienic. The presence of duck, bunnies, love birds and quail and playarea makes the resort extremely enjoyable for kids. There are multiple activities like air hockey, archery, cycling, fishing etc. The staffs are very friendly and service is prompt. The only thing that needs improvement is the quality and variety of food options. Being in pondicherry you expect the culinary culture to be great as is the case in most of the restaurants in white-town but it is a big let down here.

The location of the resort of around 11 kms away from the white town or the main pondicherry city. Nevertheless, connectivity is not an issue as autos are available albeit at higher costs. Talking about the property, it was a great stay, located right by the lagoon it had some of the most picturesque and serene views. The rooms and washroom were extremely well maintained and neat. The view form the balcony was exceptional. The Lagoon Sarovar Premiere Resort, Pondicherry staff was courteous as well. The only splinter in this perfect stay was the food which lacked variety and taste. Overall, the stay was great.

Lagoon view rooms were clean and well maintained. Good views of back water. Indoor & outdoor activities are good enough. They have water activity like speedboat (850 per head, banana (950 per head) & peddle boat. Buffet was good, taste & quality. Ala carte waiting time after an order was solid 25-30 mins. Welcome drink we have to remind them to provide. They had dj nights. Other than that there is no water smell or mosquitoes here. Good amount of space for parking, security & reception available 24/7. Wallet parking available. Last 500m to resort is little rough patch but you will reach there eventually.

We stayed just for one night during pongal holidays, 3 adults and kid took 2 rooms. Rooms were compact and super clean, staff very good, reception was very nice. Back water access was highlight, they a have private motor boat and the rider guy took us for a thrilling ride which all of us enjoyed. Food was excellent but we didn't like the breakfast spread which was daylight between lunch and dinner. Only reason for 4 stars. Swimming pool was clean and enjoyable. Had a good time. Plan for water rides if you are interested because you have very close access to pop and sun-dune at 1 kms from resort.

Very serene location. Beautiful and engaging outdoor. Comfortable and highly hospitable staffs. Food was good too. Responsive and accommodative to the varied needs

The stay was excellent, location of the property was amazing with a beautiful lake side view but the road to the resort was not proper, good food and the staffs were very respectful.

Place was lovely warm staff. Ajith, subhash latchumanan cindrella and anbu made our stay cosy and beautiful

We had a comfortable stay, rooms were clean, staff was very polite & good. However, the food is not upto the mark, needs a lot of improvement in the taste & the quality of the food.

The stay overall was good. The rooms were clean and all the amenities were very well maintained but the only problem was the service of the restraunt and the taste of the food needs improvement.

Continental breakfast was average, lunch & dinner was worst in terms of taste
