Laguna Anjuna - A Country House Resort in Anjuna, Goa

We stayed at Laguna for 3 nights and 2 days in mid of January-17. The resort is very close to the famous Anjuna Beach, less than 5 mins on a bike. The rooms are very spacious cottages surrounded by trees. Stone bathtub and copper wash-basin adds to the rustic theme of the resort. However the rooms were not very well lighted. Not sure, if they intentionally kept them so, but we had trouble in arranging our stuffs, due to dim lights. Don't get surprised with baby frogs jumping in the bathrooms. Do not expect all Laguna Anjuna - A Country House Resort in Anjuna, Goa-like amenities, where you get a variety of food options in breakfast, crystal clear swimming pools and lot of things to do in the evening. It's not very crowded, which was good. The place was quite and a little off the main road, we had to use G-Maps every time to locate the place. Staff was very supportive and the owner of the property was a gentle and nice lady.

Rooms: Pros- An old-day rustic charm. Beds with conical mosquito nets are extremely attractive. Antique looking mirrors and copper basins add to the beauty. Cons- Doors could have draught seals or aluminium door sweeps beneath them to stop that unwanted grasshopper or frog to creep through into the rooms. Cobwebs on the ceiling don't necessarily add to the beauty. I badly missed the luggage rack. The Swimming Pool: Pros- Huge and curvy! Accommodates a volleyball court. Cons: You get 'blue' soles

The Laguna Anjuna - A Country House Resort in Anjuna, Goa provides most of the basic amenities but the main drawback is lack of room service. The rooms are spacious and clean. It has A well kept swimming pool and A good restaurant. Some of the staff are very helpful and they arranged vehicles for us. The Beach is quite far A walk from here. You can go here if you want A Country retreat. It is peaceful and quiet and secluded from the happening parts of Goa.

Very nice place especially if you are seeking solitude and a place to relax in the quiet. We went on a weekday so it was hardly occupied but the staff gave us company and we're very courteous. Also would recommend that you try their homemade jams and pickles! Absolutely awesome. Reminded me of my grandmother's cooking!

Excellent location as it's close to the beach as well as feels like within a jingle. Good ambience, clean and well maintained. Would like if the people serving there would smile a bit more. Overall a great place to stay.

The ambience is great! The room was huge and very clean. They can probably improve on their breakfast spread. But overall - it is a beautiful property. If you are a nature lover then this place is home away from home.

Place is simply great and so is hospitality. Although I went in rains but the service was awesome. Rooms are really huge and the facilities are up to the mark. Great relaxing venue, I would love to stay there again.

Everyone in staff is so well behaved. Kusumati didi is so sweet. This place is only meant for people with a taste of life. It's not very high tech but it will touch your soul for sure.

As it is a country side like resort and lot of greenery is there. It attracts insects. So that should be looked upon.
