Lake n River Resort Munroe Island

We - a group of five family members - came to stay at lake n river resort, munroe island. Both the island as well as the resort were completely unknown to us. We came without any expectation, but returned delighted with the experience we got here. The resort is so remotely and beautifully set up right on the lake. The rooms were very clean. The service by each and every staff member was courteous and friendly. The food items prepared by the chefs, prakash joshi and johnson were wonderful - a lunch, dinner and the breakfast next morning - they took care to prepare the dishes specially well for each customer. The two boys - josel and vishnu took our menu orders and were wonderful! we were overall very impressed with the service provided by these people. We would certainly try visiting them again.

Loved the location of the resort however food and execution of request needs improvement. The food was not at all good and seemed like ordering indian but getting chinese food! the staff were courteous however the speed of execution needs improvement. We were told 15 minutes for everything we ordered but ended up waiting for an hour with lack of authenticity. Overall good for location but bad for food

The stay was good the staffs are very kind and are happy to help you with all the local planning and stuff. The only thing that i personally found a bit difficult was the location and getting to the location. If you are getting a local bus from kollam junction you have to catch 2 busses and then get down at the canara bank bus stop at mun-roe island.

We have stayed in lake facing room the entire property is excellent wherever you look there is different views we went 2 hours boat ride from the property itself. Wow. No words to explain the boat journey it is charable the service is top notch quality of food is yummy

We stayed with family for 1 night. Nice property. Friendly staff. They have canoeing and kayaking facilities available in the property. Main improvement will be a swimming pool within in the property. Now the guests can have a dip in lake itself, but it's a bit risky.

Excellent stay very good service and ambience is amazing and food was very tasty and the property was very neat and very calm and quite atmosphere. We are really enjoyed

Rooms are good with decent amenities. Good location to spend an evening with family. The resort will arrange boats and other activities for reasonable price.

It was totally amazing and the place was very pleasant, mind blowing too and Had good stay . Good time - life time memories 💯

Excellent location right on the edge of the ashtamudi lake and kallada river. Very serene and quiet vacation. Nice service, good food and decent rooms.

Food and services were ok. Two hours of boating through mun-roe island was thrilling. Peaceful surrounding.

It's very peaceful and nice atmosphere. Staff's are very co-operative friendly. Good place for a nice family vacation.

The stay was good, got good vegetarian food and they also offer different activities such as kayaking, swimming etc.
