Lakesong Resort

The resort had met the expections of our stay. They had good rooms, wifi, swimming pool, river side view, and other hangouts. Overall i would give a 9/10 score for the total duration of my stay. This was budget friendly for us and the location was nearby and traceable. Everything was perfect as per the make my trip descriptions. However i would like to highlight few improvements. 1. Washroom could have been even more cleaner and brighter, i have seen some renovations happening, hopefully this should solve that. 2. The breakfast choice was poor, we expected some more better on the menu. 3. Some pool toys could have been provided at the swimming pool. 4. The sports equipments completely need a replacement as most of the items are broken. 5. Two or more rowing boats can be brought within. 6. Fishing could be an added advantage activity. Apart from these we are happy with our stay. Thank you lake-song management for the wonderful experience.

The Lakesong Resort is built in traditional koral style construction. We were received with a chandan tilak & a warm smile by one of the staff ms. Arya, check-in was very smooth & comfortable. Rooms are clean, but one of the rooms smelled fish may be because they forgot to spray the deodorant. The surroundings of the Lakesong Resort are beautifully landscaped with waterway from the backwaters right up to the lounge. The Lakesong Resort is located right on the backwaters, they took us for a boat ride into the backwaters for an hour. They have facilities for fishing, swimming, cycling etc. Restaurant is about 100 metres from the Lakesong Resort lobby, food is good. All the staff are extremely courteous & helpful. Only flaw is they don't have wifi facility in the rooms. One has to come to lobby to use wi-fi. They should provide the facility in the rooms. Overall experience is very pleasant.

Overall the stay was too good. I'll give the Resort 4. 5/5. You can have the view of lake at the back Side of the resort. The staff is too co-operative and have a very sound knowledge of how to treat their guests. The food was actually delicious. The restaurant area is near to the lake, you can have a view of lake from the restaurant. The bathrooms are a bit smaller. A very nice place for children to play as the resort also have a swimming pool, indoor game and outdoor game area. But the a/c were not working properly at the indoor game area and also the table tennis bats were broken. The security persons always stay active so that no one goes to the edges of the lake side walls. I'll recommend you that you can go for Lakesong resort, Kumarakom.

I can hardly find anything amidst at this resort. Food was great. The only sore point was they could not provide WiFi to me in the room allotted to me initially. They moved me to a superior room (my good luck) and still I could not get the WiFi. In addition they charge for the WiFi which is not mentioned anywhere. I thought it was free. Even though I was ready to pay they could not connect me to the WiFi. I was really disappointed. The other negative point was that the hot water supply to the Bathroom was not good. at 4AM they could not give hot water. Generally the hot water in the room was not hot enough most of the time. The bathroom towel quality was also not up to the quality of a Lakesong Resort of this standard.

Gives good view of the lake so you can relax by the lake. Liked activities - canoe (free) and shikara ride. Well maintained landscape and looks very beautiful so you could take lots of pictures. Rooms are spacious but bathroom had water logging issues so the room was always wet. There was no mini bar though other rooms had empty mini refrigerators. Telephone was not working so we had to go to the reception for room service and queries. They can also work on their breakfast spread. It was average. Chicken sausages were dry and pancakes were average so we’re other items on the menu. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay here.

The resort standards were superb, staffs were very cordial very helpful, food was delicious, enjoyed the time, nature, room hygiene, serene beauty. I would recommend to my friends and i would like to come again to this place again and again. This place gave us a relief from all the workloads and had a terrific time there especially we loved the duck's -the quack quack gang, greenery. Location was close to the lake and the sunlight and sunset and the wind especially in the evening it was really superb. Food was delicious, mouth watering curries and desserts and service everything was really good

Totally different ambience. Set in a garden setting with a canal system of its own Lakesong resort is nestled by the 2nd largest freshwater lake in India. Greenery in abundance you awaken to the song of the birds and quack of ducks on the property. The restaurant abuts the lake with facilities for indoor, verandah and garden dining. Lots of activities duri g the day. made famous by Former PM Late Bajpayji Kumarakom has facility for backwater Houseboat cruise with both overnight and day cruises. Al in all a great experience on the resort and in Kumarakom.

Resort was good. But service was excellent. We have booked Punnamada room which was very small. When I complained, the manager upgraded our room which was an excellent gesture. All the staff were courteous and nice. The amenities like outdoor activities (chess, caroms, tt) could be improved. Pool was good, but kids pool was under maintenance. They don't provide swim rings for kids, we have to carry, which I think they could provide. Restaurant breakfast buffet was very good, but dinner buffet was just ok. Overall very good Resort.

Lake-song resort is just amazing, it is the same as seen in pictures. We were welcome by traditional kerala style along with welcome drink. Our room was upgraded to deluxe for free. Our room was overlooking the lake and garden and amazing view. Resort is well maintained and it's a treat to your eyes. We enjoyed every moment in the resort.

Our one day stay was awesome. Its an excellent property. Food and service is commendable. Good experience.

The place is quite large and good to stay. We had a good time. Breakfast is decent.

The property is nicely located. But may be due to poor occupancy, the services are not very prompt.

The room were so ill lit that you cant even see your face in mirror. The furniture was broken. Staff inattentive. Could hear noises from other room. The nearby stays were much better in lower price.

Courteous staff, super food variety, varied activities

Great service from reception team, resort is awesome & located on lake side. Need an improvement on room service specially the order taker who needs to understand the order before executing. Breakfast buffet was good.
