Lakhmana Desert Camp

Tao's Camp is a gem which is hidden close to the desert. If you are looking for a great camp for some adventure and a pleasant evening, you must visit Tao's. Special thanks to Aditya ji, who made our stay worthwhile! I am fussy about washrooms and was worried whether there would be a good bathroom or not. The tents are luxurious. There is an air conditioner, cooler, clean large bathrooms, towels, mini bar and much more. The camel ride, breakfast and dinner was included. You can try zip lining and quad biking is a must! Thanks to Arjun, the instructor, who made our quad experience fun !! It is ideal for families and not meant for the single boys, who are looking for a wild night. Lol. It is absolutely safe and there are 25+ activities to choose from. In a nutshell, you won't bored here. Oh yes drinks are available for those, who wish to enjoy a drink in the evening. Best camp near Sam Sand Dunes. Do try! Oh also a night bonfire or a romantic dinner can be arranged at an additional cost. Can't miss it!

The rooms are larger than most claps we saw with great amenities. Staff is courteous and the adventure activities and dune experiences are amazing. Worth every penny, traveled with my family to Jaisalmer and instead of looking for camps online, I came across this property. It is a huge place with so many things to do, like adventure, sports, camel rides but the highlight of our trip was the dune experiences. our family had a private dinner set up. The Quad Bike safaris and Ziplines were the best. The staff is great and the rooms are comfortable and huge. Definitely recommended.

Words can't describe this experience of going on the dunes on quad bikes. It was an exciting trip and worth a visit again. The stay was such a relaxing stay away from the hustle bustle of the city. The staff was very helpful and we also enjoyed the adventure activities. Experience of being on dunes for dinner was just too good. Amazing packages. Wish I had more days to do the other packages. Food was good and above average. Altogether memorable trip.

A must stay place in Jaisalmer, as the dunes there are Fresh and away from the hustle and bustle of Sam desert. We had dinner on dunes on request. It was very well organised and the staff was very courteous. Quad bike on dunes was a great experience which was better than Dubai. Dunes. There are many activities which are of international standard and a fun loving place. Recommend to go on the dunes on bike. Rooms are neat and clean.

We had a wonderful time at Resort closer to Sand Dunes. The staff is cooperative, helpful and overall service is good. The Extra activities arranged by Resort is really amazing but it is very expensive and also we can bargain for each and every activity which is really very shameful. The package includes free meals but snacks served in evening after tiring schedule of evening activity is totally waste need to be improved a lot.

had an incredible stay at tao's lakhmana Desert Camp. the food is absolutely amazing ,freshly cooked and served hot.they were very generous to even make my meals less spicy as per my taste. room service is also very nice and all the requirements of ours were kept in mind. would highly recommend this place as Jaisalmer has very few things to do and this place is all in one place for leisure and activities and fun.

The overall experience was excellent for this Lakhmana Desert Camp The manager - Mr. Mahender Singh is a very good administrator and takes care of you personally. I was travelling with my familiy and he ensured our trip was successful and enjoyable. The staff was attentive and ensured your requests were quickly dealt with. Location was offbeat and very quiet - we were looking for that. Must Stay place.

Nice and good. Food are good in little option. Try to grab booking with complimentary breakfast and dinner. Otherwise get ready to pay high cost for the food.
Surrounded with desert outside from the city, dinner and breakfast are good in less option. And amazing night performance that will sure made your day. Amazing ac tents, with fridge n geyser. And among the best in all the camps.

Enjoyed thoroughly ... It was wonderful experience staying in tents for almost 3 nights ... This seems to be one of the best desert resorts .. Staff is amazingly supportive ... And great service ..

Tao is the only camp in Jaisalmer where you can ride QUAD bikes and high end Jeep safari. Rooms, service & food was excellent. We were there on anniversary and they arranged cake for us which was very impressive as the camp is at least 50kms from Jaisalmer

First day very poor service and low standard food, improve the quality on speaking with the manager on second day, first night made me think I have wasted my time and money, second day it was far better. Must improve the quality of bedsheets and covers used in cultural programme sitting in the garden, open.

Being 70 plus, and travelling with family and grand kids, the resort had enough facilities for us all, no matter the age. The staff was courteous and he place was good quality. Keep it up staff. Will recommend a visit to all.
Great hospitality by staff, and for a 70 year old travelling with family was a wonderful experience at this resort for all of us collectively and independent.

We had a great experience as this camp. Service was excellent and the staff was ciurteous. Holi was celebrated with great enthusiasm and Rajasthani dance was shown as well. The camp head was extremely helpful.

It was a pleasant stay and everything was fine. The staff was very good. My overall experience was amazing, they helped a lot the program was amazing though we did not understand my experience here was just epic.

Wonderful location and ambience. Staff is really helpful. The location is very close to dunes. Lot of activities provided at camp for kids as well as adult. The high point was experiencing quad biking at dunes.

I am going 29/12/17 very good place staff is good all are give good response Bath room is good but water is yellow colour. Food is normal not bad. There rides is very good but very costly but we are enjoying. Over all very good. Very cool in night.

Location is good as this is separate from other camp in this area. Near to Desert. Lot of activities are there so you can enjoy one day at the Camp only. We take a ATV ride which we enjoyed a lot. Dining area needs to improve. All over good place to stay and enjoy your trip.
