Overall a neat stay. The house keeping should have been better though the ambience they provide makes me excuse them for it. Definitely worth the money spent if you know the local language . . The hospitality was good. Food is the best part of the stay. The welcome drink for a lunch was good too. They serve both Veg and non veg. As I am vegetarian, I ordered only vegetarian. Dinner was a buffet and the lunch was order to eat. I also tried room service for one of the meal. In all ways the food was worth it. I could order butter milk which was not part of the buffet. They served it with pleasure. They make sure we are very well satisfied during our meal The room ambience was very good and the rooms are well maintained. It smells always fresh. The walk way is also well maintained and air is freshened up regularly. The staff are good and courteous and no one will have issues with the staff the travel desk should have been better. They would milk money if you did not know the route and check on what is the distance we want to go. Even being a localite, I was asked 4 times the fair for a simple cab drop. If you know the language, its always better to book a external travel partner. Travel desk is a big let down and unfair praise. The entrance and seating lobby is well maintained and is very welcoming. There is enough space to sit for a evening chat before you go for a walk. Cleanliness is up to the mark and deserves five star which is the reason why I forgive them for an unfair deal at the travel desk

Good Stay, Upon request, Lakshmi Hotel management let us check in 1 hour before and gave 15 minutes extension for check out, not so tantalizing lunch, had hairs in bathroom towel, convenient location from Thanjavur Junction - Railway Station but to approach Old and New Bus Stand (which lies within a range of 2 and 4km) the auto people even asked more.
Only one water bottle was provided and the bathroom towel had hairs in it, but we had ours hence faced no issues. Otherwise it is fine. One more thing is that the local auto people charge really high for even a 500 metres ride which I found disappointing (yes ola is there, but not much differences are seen in the rates, compared to ola rides in other cities and all)

We stayed in this Lakshmi Hotel for 1 night. Room was good, neat, clean bathroom. Restaurant was very good, nice tasty food. My booking had free Wi-Fi but they said it's down and not working. Problem was some renovation work was happening it seems and heard noise of people working in the afternoon. Worst part was the noise of people working in the upper floor, moving furniture didn't stop until 12. 30 am. I complained 3 times but no action was taken despite assurance. Next day when I informed in the reception of the noise we experienced and could not sleep properly we got lame response from the reception attendant. They need to improve on services and understand the request of guests.

The location is good, easy to find out. Located in the heart of the city. Check in was smooth. Ample space is there for car parking. Room was spacious, washroom clean and hygienic. Facilities were too good. However none of the housekeeping and restaurant staff speaks English and they could definitely be trained better to suit the standard of the Lakshmi Hotel. They are ready to help but are not professional in their mannerisms. Restaurant is nice. Breakfast options were good. Food quality is great. Checkout was easy. We spent two nights here in superior double room. Overall stay was comfortable and pleasant. Highly recommended Lakshmi Hotel.

I came for a marriage function with my family, I seen this Lakshmi Hotel on MMT app Lakshmi Hotel was really good, warm welcome and the reception people made the check in very quick. The room was neat and clean they placed a towel like peacock it was very nice. Coffee maker and mini bar amenities were in the room. Break fast was nice. We taken the taxi from them which was very cheap when compare with others travels in the city driver Senthil had a very good driving. I recommend this Lakshmi Hotel to all my friends who travelling to Tanjore.

I would rate this as no. 1 Lakshmi Hotel in Tanjore. To mention an experience, I was about to leave the dining room with about 9 guests not willing to take up the buffet dinner offered there came a young chef and offered to cook and serve any item in the dinner card. To our pleasant surprise they not only served whatever we ordered but in double quick time. Food was very good in every respect. The loyalty of this team to the management and keenness to satisfy their clients has touched me and my guests. My best wishes please keep it up sir.

Hotel very near to Railway Station Awesome food, Pleasant ambience, Located very near to Railway Station. Spacious room, Payment made to MMT helped in quick check in and check out. A must visit tourist attraction and Famous Bhrihadeshwar temple is 2. 5-3 Km away from Hotel. Priced slightly higher rate. I Recommend this Lakshmi Hotel for family and tourists. Request Lakshmi Hotel management to review room price. Many star Lakshmi Hotels will have dryer in bathroom but Lakshmi Lakshmi Hotels missed to include it in their Lakshmi Hotel.

The room was awesome .. Very clean and very spacious. The service was very good too. The WiFi was not strong. The location is good too, just 200 behind the Thanjavur railway station. The vegetarian spread in the dinner buffet was a big let down. The dishes were very bland and there was no biryani for vegetarians .. I don't know why most Lakshmi Hotels have biryanis only for non vegetarians and just some flavored rice for veggies. Overall the Lakshmi Hotel is a very good place to stay. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Thanjavur

Stopped here for a night on the way to Rameshwaram, booked in on MakeMyTrip, I was a little apprehensive as we were travelling with our little girl first outing but the Lakshmi Hotel is just what you expect no frills just so above par I mean it even the bathroom is above expectations. WIFI is fun we shared a lot of pics on the go!

The Lakshmi Hotel is situated in a very good place, but what they are charging is little too much for the standard of the Lakshmi Hotel.
The shower is not OK. Taking the bath with just hand sprinkler is a very bad idea. Need to update a lot in the Lakshmi Hotel.

We used the comfort i.e bed sheet to cover the body there total night no sleep for my son and my mother and they were itching total night.

Need to have a separate Vegetarian Restaurant, for pure vegetarians it will be difficult otherwise. Had to go room service since sepearate vegeterian restaurant was not available. Staff is courteous and very responsive. Separate car parking facility should be available for residents, mostly gets packed with restaurant customers

Very much clean room, good food and room service. It is one of the best Lakshmi Hotel if you are searching for a budget place to stay AT Tanjore. The Brihadeeshwara temple is just 2 km away from the Lakshmi Hotel. I walked down there for the visit. Morning breakfast is also very good. I had egg dosa and plain dosa with filter coffee. It was real South taste and quality. Overall good stay.

Excellent location on the main road leading to Railway station and old bus stand with bus stop just in front. New with very good and modern facilities and fixings. Very spacious room with very comfortable bed. Very friendly counter staff. The finger touch control switch right next to the bedside is handy. Good breakfast with several options. The only drawback I found is unavailability of WiFi in the room.
