LAMA-KONCHOK Mud House Home Stay

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this homestay. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The family that owns the property is incredibly kind and attentive—they truly go above and beyond to make you feel at home and ensure that all your needs are taken care of. This personal touch made all the difference in my stay. One of the highlights was the serene view of the river—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, and thanks to the traditional mud-house structure, the natural sound insulation provides a quiet and restful environment, even with other guests around. I wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic stay. I would be more than happy to return in the future!

One of the best stay i had. Aunty Dorje’s hospitality felt like home. I would recommend Lama-konchok homestay to everyone whosoever is planning for Kaza, and i bet you will not regret😊

Owners are quite cooperative. View from the property is amazing, however, approaching road to property is in very bad condition. If you don’t like dogs, please stay away.

Worst place to vista if your coming with your family. Totally offroad. Narrow street location is worst.

Find the location with help of owner but totally offroad. I mean to say narrow street crossing river side owner behavior is good and cooperative. Coman bathroom condition is bad. If i neglect owner behavior so property is very worst to approached. Thanks to owner. I had no time click any pick(photo) due to see the way to reached at property very disturbed. I was reached kaza 8. 30 pm and reached at property 9. 30 pm. You better understand what hepend that time.

Host dorje is very welcoming. Had local food there. Location is good. Only problem was bathroom was not attached.

This homestay is on the edge of kaza, so nice and quiet with good uninterrupted views of the river valley and mountains. Room 1 & 2 are quite spacious and comfortable. There is a downstairs shared bathroom/toilet that is very clean, with great hot water.

Rooms were very neat and the owners were extremely friendly and i ended up having a very comfortable stay overall. Would recommend to anyone going to kaza.

Rooms and hospitality was good. They don’t have the attached washroom however it was clean. A little off reading for reaching homestay. Google map does not show the right parh.

Non o homestay is a cosy hoke away from home. The family there especially the aunty and her son were super friendly and the house was a traditionally styled tibetan house. Super clean and a great view of the mountains. 5 mins walking distance from the market. Parking could be an issue, and you need to park in the market parking space but it's not far at all. Would recommend this homestay to all who want to experience a warm tibetan homestay.
