Landmark Pallavaa Beach Resort, Mahabalipuram

I had stayed with my family (2 kids aged 9 and 6) stayed here for a night and our overall experience could have been much better. Rooms- room was big, furniture was neat. But it was dusty in the cupboards. Bed/linen was clean. Bathroom were clean. There was not much of a view from the room windows as we stayed in the ground floor as it was a last minute booking. The hot water kettle was rusted and could not be used. The mini fridge was empty and the items listed was not available with the Landmark Pallavaa Beach Resort, Mahabalipuram either. Kids play area- except for a swings and slides, the was a lot of rust and not usable. Pool- the best thing that is good at this place. Was not crowded when we went to have a swim. Both my boys enjoyed this the most. There is no life guard and we have to get our own swimwear. I saw a few guests without proper swimming costumes- Bermudas/trunks and there was no one to stop them either. Beach- the private beach is good and it is a must visit. There is only one security and the sea is rough in these areas. Buffet breakfast- spread is above average with Idly/Dosa/Pongal/Bread for vegetarians during our stay. Quality is good. For the money I had paid, I hoped it would have been much more worth it.

The Landmark Pallavaa Beach Resort, Mahabalipuram is located approximately 10 kms (15 mins drive) from mahabalipuram bus stand/shore temple. Hence it makes a perfect place to stay if you want to be in close proximity of city for some urgent needs however prefer quieter place. The property is huge with lots of open area/greeneries. There is a park for kids to play. There is a small private beach which is an added bonus. There are no outsiders to disturb (unless from the same Landmark Pallavaa Beach Resort, Mahabalipuram) while at the beach. Very good and courteous staffs. They help with all the questions and needs with all possibilities. Rooms are big, so are the bathrooms. The way (just about 200 meters walk) to the private beach is green and simply awesome. A big thumbs up to all the facilities. From fooding perspective do not expect anything extremely luxurious, however they have decent options.

Resort is at an excellent location on ECR. A bigger board at the entrance would be helpful, it's very easy to Miss the small board while driving. The staff are friendly, with some more training they can be excellent. Had to ask for everything, including the WiFi password, swimming pool timing, Beach timing, breakfast timing, location etc. Folks at reception need to show around and give all these details without being asked. First day we liked the dinner and breakfast taste, but not so much the next day, consistency will help. Also MMT said, deluxe room has king size bed, but it was only queen size. Only super deluxe have king size bed and beach view. Resort can improve the cleanliness of the rooms. Rooms are spacious. Swimming pool and Beach both close at 6 pm, which doesn't make sense at all. Pool should be open, at least up to 8 pm.

This property is located approximately 14 kms from m'puram. The taxiwallas attached to the Landmark Pallavaa Beach Resort, Mahabalipuram are cheats. We went to m'puram by share auto, then we found a fantastic rickshaw walla, most cooperative, excellent vehicle, very clean and good english. Some few hind i words also. As far as food, no problem at all. But they don't have liqueur permit, so we either need to carry out own or step out 14 kms to get it. Service is good, all staff are very polite and cooperative.
Rooms were clean, the staff was polite, but all were not wearing masks, there was no sanitize r stand in sight anywhere. The security guard at the beach end didn't know that corona is still there.

I went there as family of two adults a child and an infant. Room was very spacious and had one double bed with one additional diwan type bed. Room was clean and property was well maintained. We enjoyed the food, pool and beach at the resort. Staff was courteous and helpful. Al cart e food was tasty and cooking as per preference. Morning breakfast buffet had limited yet tasty options. Pool was clean and upkeep good but little more maintenance required for pool and shower area. Beach timings could be extended so that people may enjoy late evenings.

The stay at Landmark Pallavaa was excellent. The super deluxe room was quite spacious to accompany 2 adults and one child. The resort staffs were really helpful. Food was limited but was awesome. They kept our customized food request which is commendable. Room service was quick. Beach access requires you to walk for 10 mins due to the desalination work ongoing. Overall a pleasant and comfortable stay. I highly recommend this resort for family people and those who wants to enjoy a bit quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the cities.

We have stayed one day during middle of the week. Only few people were present. Plus points: easy access to highway, good location, good parking space, large playground, breakfast was awesome. Tasty food with sufficient quantity. Staff was courteous and good. Negative points: beach access is closed currently due to pipeline work. Bathroom water blockade. So they had given access to other alternate room. Property is not well maintained. Definitely not value for money.

Resort was an average property and the maintenance could have been better. The swimming pool had good options but needed renovation of missing tiles which may hurt kids. Beach is not accessible close to the property since metro piping is ongoing. Otherwise, no complaints! we enjoyed our stay with spacious room with some good food. Kids had good time near children's play area. Overall, a good property to visit again if amenities are all set right!

Pleasant stay. Except for food quantity and the price rest everything was good

It was a pleasant stay at Landmark Pallava. It's calm, widespread and well maintained property. Rooms are clean. Veg food was good. 10-12 mins drive to Mamallapuram. Staff were courteous. Kids friendly.

Excellent Resort with big lawns, kids play areas, swimming pool and private Beach. Worth for the price we pay. I recommend it

It was a girls trip. We found the place safe. Good food. Neat rooms and a private access to a clean beach. Overall a comfortable stay

Stay was awesome, little experience but we have enjoyed the Resort.

Pro:good location, spacious area with large parking, big rooms, garden swimming pool and park along with beach access, children will enjoy, in room service also fast. Con: food taste can be improved, not justified for the cost they are changing

5th stay in the Resort and had an excellent stay. Independence day celebration is a surprise and got a chance to interact with all staffs. Great food quality and slightly on higher price. But no disappointment on the food. Thanks Landmark Pallava team.

Stay was good, room service and food not upto the mark.

Property is very good and next to the Nemmili desalination plant. it is adjoining the beach and has beach access. it's also strategically located and around 7km from Mahabalipuram. location and rooms are very good. the only negative is that there are no lifts. food is average though the breakfast spread is good

This is one of the nice Beach Resort Mahabalipuram. They have a private Beach, scenic view of Beach from Landmark Pallavaa Beach Resort, Mahabalipuram room. Good staff, nice food etc. Recommend this place for stay for family and friends.
