Larisa Resort Manali

Larisa is an excellent place to stay in Manali. It is truly an awesome experience to witness the scenic beauty of Himalayan mountains covered with snow, which can be seen from this resort. The resort nestled in an apple orchard in the Himalayan valley offers a unique and tranquil environment, away from the hustle-bustle of city life. The tastefully done cottages offer comfort and is well complemented by traditional hill hospitality. The entire staff is very humble and supportive. Mr. Ram, Viney at the reception were very helpful in finding out the priority places to explore. The travel desk is truly awesome led by Mr. Viney and Umesh Thakur. I booked the Swift Dezire with Umesh for local sightseeing and visiting Dalhousie and Amritsar all the way, and it was a great experience with travel desk services and behaviour. This resort is 12 km away from the city mall road, recommended booking car prior. We enjoyed ourselves a lot and especially fresh apples from the orchard. Definitely, a unique experience for us witnessing a blissful and mystique beauty of Himalayan mountains.

We visited larisa resort in mid feb 2024. We were great-ed by the friendly and warm staff in himachali style with a piping hot kahwa drink and a himachali cap and stole. The resort premises have plenty of hangout spots such as a trampoline, a cosy library, and hammocks apt for a group of friends or a family to relax and bask in the sun. The service of the staff was impeccable. The resort offers a himachali dham thali which comprises of local dishes. Each dish was delicious and 1 thali was sufficient for 2 people. Those who like to explore local cuisines must surely try the thaali. The food served otherwise was also very good. The resort is 30 mins away from the mall road which keeps it away from the hustle and bustle of the city and we could enjoy the nature around us in its pristine form. One can easily travel to the city in the local buses. The nearest bus stop is walking distance from the resort and therefore you need not loosen the purse strings to reach the main market. Overall our stay was wonderful and we recommend it for anyone who is looking for a relaxing stay.

Overall it was a very good trip. Best to look out for: Overall room experience with jacuzzi, iron table with iron box, sufficient cupboards, couch, tables, king size bed, wooden floor, good brand shampoo and body wash, room service also very fast, very polite staffs, very clean atmosphere inside the resort, good play area. Areas of improvement: South Indian food really needs improvement if you want to serve continuously. Other items are really good. Play area swing was very slippery. couldn't sit properly. Every day after cleaning the room, they forgot to keep bathrobes. every day I had to call for robes. last day we didn't even call. Driver stay can be arranged. It's far away from the city. they can't pay and stay. its freezing cold over there. Please, consider. Food prices are very expensive we felt. Can be reduced at least 20% overall. We had very limited food in 3 nights (3 dinner-every Dinner we ordered with just one or 2 dishes and 1 single buffet) bill was pretty high.

This resort is amazing. I have traveled a lot around the world but have rarely seen resorts which are perfect. Larisa resort is one of them. If you are visiting Kullu/Manali area and you have a car (hired or self), look no further than Larisa. They also arranged for our transport from Chandigarh Airport and car hire during the stay. As we were delayed on the way they kept on calling us to where we are and whether they should keep our dinner ready as the kitchen will be closed after 11 pm. Once we reached, we got a warm welcome and our room was already pre-heated! The atmosphere in the resort is amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of one week. I hope this resort remains like this or improves further. I plan to visit again whenever the next opportunity comes.

I would recommend Larisa to anyone looking for an amazing stay a little away from the main city of Manali. The services are amazing. The staff is extremely polite. They are accommodating of special requests and will go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable, the property is breathtaking. I recommend sitting in the library, reading a book with snow called mountains in the background, the food is amazing too. you can request a live BBQ in the evening, you can take cycles and wander around. Manali is about 30 mins away . But the stay us so amazing you can just spend a day or two on the property. On the Sunday they have things like him fires and live.music, but I cannot stress enough on the fact that the staff really put in effort to make your stay amazing.

Larisa resorts, far away from the maddening manali crowd is in a small village called naggar. Spread across in the middle of an apple orchard, it was a perfect match for our stay. A comfortable stay, lots of green, & a super view. An excellent place to relax & unwind! the resort was well planned for a relaxing stay. This includes a small well maintained pool, an activity centre, a giant trampoline, couple of hammocks & a kids area. And some interesting corners around which makes the stay fulfilling. The best is definitely a quite library at the farthest corner of the property with it’s big window opening to the mountains. A perfect place to spend the afternoons, flipping a few pages!

Property is nice, room cleanliness hospitality is satisfying, core issue in our stay was we booked rooms with breakfast plus one meal and they did-not have buffet for breakfast barring one day and not a single day buffet for dinner, this has ruined our experience since Larisa Resort Manali is far from the mall road & restaurants. This has made my experience bitter since their in room menu has limited option & only 60/70% things available, so that was so annoying. Meal in Larisa Resort Manali is most important thing but on contrary whatever we ordered was tasty & delightful. Stay was 4 out of 5.

I will prefer to stay at Larisa Resort over and over again for further trips to Manali. Right from the reception you'll feel the warmth. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The ambience and the fine details they have taken care is appreciable. With the natural beauty of the location and their choice of decor and plantation takes it to a whole new level. Food is just yummy and always felt it so fresh. Particular mention should be made of the staff who altogether make your stay more comfortable and tend your special requests even on short notice.

Taste is really good, upto the mark along with a good service, they put one more star.

Things were perfect and as expected from a premium resort

If u r peace lover then must visit this place. service is awesome the people working in the property each and everyone are the best part of resort .. food is awesome .. dont forget to enjoy the moon set in the mountain during night. overall the great experience. must visit

Location was perfect, what we wanted with friendly staff and with delicious food.

Loved it, everything was greatly managed. Food, bar, trampoline and outdoor pool was making it more fun.

The place has a beautiful view, with amazing service. A couple of pointers though, it's more of a day resort, not a place to chill at night. Not a lot of fun stuff to do.

Larisa has all the safety measures, they sanitise the rooms the public areas, staff wears the mask all the time.

So we'll designed cottages with great view, excellent hospitality with delicious a la carte menu with bar.

Very good staff and ambiance but heater didn't work properly it was freezing night

Beautiful resort added to it's location and it's courteous staff. Modern comforts midst of nature. Good food, could still improve on it though.
