Latngenlang Homestay

Location is great seems like scotland ,valley is beautiful,room and outdoor are top-notch.

Everything was good except a group of people who arrived that same night with us making noise like hell without concerning for others as if they booked the entire room for themselves. At least there should have been some restrictions to maintain minimal silence particularly at night after 12:am as we couldn't sleep at all due to their shouting and noise disturbances. After all i would say it was a pleasant stay and the property was amazingly beautiful and cosy. It is highly recommendable property.

The place is really good and in beautiful location but the caretaker couple is absolutely unprofessional. The owner should consider changing the couple they are very lazy, they were found most of the time passing time on mobile instead of attending to guests. Professionalism and hospitality was absolutely zero in the care takers. Owner pols consider keeping better people taking care of your property the place is absolutely heaven to stay in

Serene place with good facilities. Caretaker is pretty helpful, and food is available at a very affordable price. Overall experience was very satisfying and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone who visits meghalaya.

The property is well planned for a stay of 4-5 couples or a big family up to 15 persons and is very well maintained as well. The service and food were excellent.

House is well equipped with good interior and equipment like electric kettle, heaters, geysers, iron etc.Location is out of city on the way to Cherrapunji or Dawki, if somebody need proximity to police bazar should try other alternative. Food was bad, some time too much oil, some time salty and some time too much potato. Not much option in breakfast. We had omelet and bread everyday. Service is okay, just for information, some services are at some price so don't consider it included in room booking charges, e.g. we paid extra for using kitchen to prepare some food for one year old kids, had to pay for housekeeping and dish-washing too and at last not all rooms are attached with bathrooms but if you have house occupied with your group it can be managed, which was the case with us. Overall it was a comfortable stay only thing we missed a good food badly.

It was a well-maintained house and the caretaker also really take care of everything we really enjoyed the view from the homestay.

Its a treat to stay at this place! The entire place is beautifully designed with nice seating spaces. Kitchen is available and caretaker will cook your meals. Places of tourist interests are close by. The owner is enlightened us about places of interest in Meghalaya. He helped us in planning our tour also.

If you are going as a couple try to avoid the place. The room I selected was different from the one allocated finally. The other guests in the main house will over power you and you won't be able to use the common space. The caretaker tried his best to make us comfortable but that was of little help.
