Laxman Residency

Rooms: They are up to the mark. The decor is new. The rooms are comfortable. Everything was clean and tidy. Some rooms are very small but still don't compromise on any amenities. The bathroom was a little small. For a 6 ft tall man it becomes a little cumbersome to take a shower in such a small bathroom. Also the toilet was always stinking in our room. Restaurant The restaurant is average. The menu is too big for a small kitchen, as they serve everything from mutton and fish to veg items. As a result the preparation times are long. Also note that it is a restaurant cum bar. There is a family room but it has only four tables and is full most of the time. The food quality is good and the food was delicious. Service the service is prompt. The staff is friendly and caring. Location its very convenient. Rickshaw and local bus stand are within 2 minutes walking distance. Overall it is a good Laxman Residency with great value for money!

Laxman residency is at the city centre and most of the famous temples like Kudroli Gokarnanath, Kadiri Manjunatha, Mangala Devi and many other temples are very nearby. Tannibavi beach is also very close by and we were able to reach the beach exactly by sunset. 😀 Rooms are very clean and well maintained and very cozy for a family stay. We stayed here for two days. Unfortunately we could not taste the food in in-house restaurant as there was a curfew during the time and it was not operational. However there is a very good restaurant nearby Rao’s south street which serves delicious food. all in all it was a wonderful stay for us. Highly recommend 😀👌🏼👍

I had stayed for 2 days here. The location of the Laxman Residency is on the highway. So very easy to locate, however you may get disturbed with the vehicle noise. Except this, I found everything of this Laxman Residency is very good. The room are very clean as well as the washroom. The interior of the Laxman Residency is also very good. The behavior of all the staff was also very good and co-operative. It is a very good budgetary Laxman Residency. The attached restaurant is also very nice. They serve hygienic and tasty food in reasonable price. Overall it was a very good experience. I will surely recommend for it.

Had work at ajims which is walkable distance from the Laxman Residency. Hotel room was quite good. Upkeep of common areas like the lift etc can be improved. Hotel can keep the intercom numbers directory within the rooms. Vegetarians have limited options in the immediate vicinity and the in-house restaurant in the lodge is veg. Non-veg. The canteen at ajims has very good veg food and good hygiene. For commuting there is an auto rickshaw stand very close by.

Hotel staff was courteous. Mr. Girish, Mr. Krishna and Mr. Rajesh at reception were helpful and polite. Cleanliness rooms were clean. Food: breakfast was not good (please do something about this), dinner we liked. Location: there are many small eateries nearby and connectivity to other places is very good. One can easily get cab, auto, bounce, etc from there. Overall the stay was good and its been a nice experience for us. I would recommend this place.

Room is good with all essentials, but room was not ready at the time of check in. Calling bell, internal telephone not working, breakfast was not upto the mark and presentation was also very poor, room service needs much more improvement. Cleanliness of room and corridor were good, reception counter and waiting lobby very poor, only one sofa was there without ac even no fan above the sofa.

Was on a solo pilgrimage visit. Had booked double suite room for reasonable price! the room was spacious with neat bathroom and good air-conditioning. Only problem is the television available channels. Really bad on that aspect. Should have a dth connectivity atleast. Maybe customers can choose to pay for their fave channels by the day. The ac restaurant food is great and nominal priced

Good room service and clean Laxman Residency with supportive staff

Nice Laxman Residency. Rooms were clean. Ac was in working condition. Some good things like coffee, tea bags should be provided as well.

Near by st stand, good to travel

Hygienic room, good location and yummy breakfast with very limited items. Dinner was included in the package, but they asked us to have a la carte with a budget for two people, nothing of this sort was mentioned in the booking and that is the only sad part of our stay here.

Staffs are very good. Worth the price !

laxman residency is conveniently located next to aj hospital with large rooms and very clean washroom , ac works really well . staff is pleasant and helpful too. definitely one of the better accommodations for the price point in mangalore

The Laxman Residency is total value for money. The location is right on the highway. The rooms are small spacewise but neatly maintained. Parking space is enough for limited guests so might be hard to get in busy times.
The safety standards are maintained at this Laxman Residency.
