Laxmi Vilas Palace

We took a 3 day family vacation at bharatpur in the beginning of august. As travellers who put great emphasis on our stay, we always pick the best or at par with the best in terms of amenities, hygiene, open space for toddler and willingness to provide food and/or other needs customized for baby. The property definitely fulfilled our expectations in terms of structural beauty and heritage vibes. It is also the best and only star rated property in the area since bharatpur is a small place. The staff were extremely helpful and prompt in terms of service. We were provided with whatever we needed for our 2. 5 year old toddler. The menu however is a bit limited because of difficulty in sourcing raw material probably. But quality of food is good. Also, our visit was not during peak season, so during peak the promptness of service might be affected due to more guests (just an educated guess. Wifi is available only in the reception and dining areas. The swimming pool area is quite popular with swimmers and has a beautiful view. The overall ambience is great and the evenings are ideal to sit out in the open and enjoy refreshments. The bharatpur bird sanctuary (unesco world heritage site) is 2 km from the property as is the local market and mall. Overall a good and pleasant stay.

This property is absolutely stunning. Location is great and just couple of km from Bharatpur bird sanctuary. Rooms were clean and spacious with private balconies with garden and pool views. The service is brilliant. Without being intrusive the staff anticipate and meet your every need. We are always treated like royalty. Members of royal family stay in one section of this property and it's surroundings are good with nice manicured gardens, variety of flowers and vintage motifs all across property. Nice swimming pool and poolside area where they serve tea. And lastly best part was the in-house restaurant where they served scrumptious and fresh food, especially veg food. They have garden farms in Palace compound and we were served fresh spinach from the farm which was delightful for City dwellers. I plan to visit this place again in future.

This is a palatial Laxmi Vilas Palace. Everything about it is royal, be it the rooms, dining hall or the corridors. We stayed at the royal suite room, which was in the old building of palace. It was a well appointed room with clean washroom. They don't have room service in this building as its very far from the kitchen. If you go with old parents, better ask for reservation in the new building, which has a lift & closer to dining halls. Their staff is courteous, helpful and very attentive during buffet. Any request is met with swiftly. Overall, a relaxing and happy experience.

We stayed at the Laxmi Vilas Palace for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. A wonderful heritage Laxmi Vilas Palace, providing a calm and soothing ambiance, just what we were looking for. The Laxmi Vilas Palace is situated on 25 acres, where the greenery and landscaping is superbly maintained. The staff is courteous and efficient. The owners, of royal lineage are personally involved in the Laxmi Vilas Palace operations and take great care that their guests really enjoy their stay. It was our second stay there and would love to return.

Very clean rooms. Nice terrace and courtyard. There is local music in evening. There is no room service. WiFi is only around dining hall. It is a 5 minutes drive from Bharatpur bird sanctuary and 30 minute from Deeg Palace. Deeg Palace is a must visit. Amazing architecture and water engineering for fountains inside. The ASI needs to do more faster restoration of this place and Rajasthan state must promote it too. The Lohagarh fort about 15 minutes from Laxmi Vilas Palace is also good place to visit.

It's a good property to spend quality time with family while enjoying bird watching at bird sanctuary. The room was spacious and well kept. We literally had a private terrace to ourselves. Food is one area which requires definate improvement. They cater mostly for buffet in lunch and dinner and the spread can be improved. While the b fast spread was ok it can be more tailored and timing extended till 1100 as that will allow for an extended visit to the bird sanctuary in the morning.

I had a great stay with a family at laxmi villas,bharatpur. they had given us a heritage room which was spacious and had all the modern amenities needed by modern traveller. Room service and house keeping service was very prompt. swimming pool area, garden area ,courtyard area were very neat and clean. Also the dining hall was very beautiful having a good architecture. Food was good with good f and b service. will recommend to others and will surely come again 🙂

The property has a nice heritage feel to it, though the new wing is not completely aligned to the concept. The service was good and there was no problem. One suggestion is to shift the reception in the ene wing as it has a grander entrance and tourists looking for the grand heritage property get can feel better welcomed there. Also, my gst no never showed up on final invoice done thru mmt, so it seems i will lose out there and that's not a nice ending

Magnificent heritage resort at only 3 hours distance from Delhi. Very spacious, clean place with good food too. Excellent weekend stay option for people staying in Delhi/NCR.

Stay was good, there was low occupancy that day so they didn’t serve buffet breakfast instead they gave breakfast on demand. Food quality was hood. Staff was courteous. Cleanness was good. Pool czn be better cleaned. Pool bathroom were smelly, room towel could be better. Overall it was value gore money as i got discounted price. I booked suite but there was nothing like a suit.

Had a warm welcome in Laxmi Vilas Palace. Good service. Food quality was also good. First time experience stay at Laxmi Vilas Palace and it was worth the money.

Although the resort is heritage but the Laxmi Vilas Palace staff still needs to learn on hospitality. It was my anniversary and I had ordered a cake in advance but at the day got a response like "We forgot and it happens". That was not all when you order a room service the Laxmi Vilas Palace is bold enough to say "please take your food from here, we won't deliver to your room". That's why for them I am saying it's a long way to learn the hospitality.

Rooms were spacious and good with all the amenities required. Bathroom was neat and clean. Food was outstanding and service was great. Very close to the bird sanctuary. Would definitely recommend to others

The property is a beautiful place to spend a mini vacation. Strict compliance to the mandatory safety protocols amid-st the corona crises was followee. The breakfast buffet was decent and of good quality. The variety in dinner buffet however, was not commensurate to the price point. The quality of the dinner buffet was however, very good. The staff is very attentive and courteous. The location is 20min from the bird sanctuary (by a 4 wheel drive.
