Le Candles

We picked up le candles by chance to stay close to calicut airport, for a next day flight. Stayed on 24th oct 2022, and used a ground floor executive room. Despite being located in middle of no where, and not on main wayanad tourism circuit, it was a plea-sent surprise. Well designed architecturally, on a narrow hillock, it has various options for couples and large families (2 bedroom duplexes ) the swimming pool is small. Staff was attentive and reception welcoming. Buffet breakfast was complimentary for us, it was delicious and plentiful.

An ideal location for people staying in Calicut city, who wish to take a short break. Just 45 minutes drive from city, lies this beautiful resort. Though it may sound exaggerating, but the food served here is even tastier than some of the best restaurants in the city. Very courteous staff, a beautiful pool and even the pets living in the property are so friendly. Once again full marks to the chef. There is also this area near restaurant, where you can try your hand in snooker. Overall, a true value for money package.

Amazing place. Le Candles is an amazing Resort with its surroundings and Staff, who cater to all our requirements. From the check in process Shamsuddin to house keeping and the restaurant Mr. George and Iman and all the others took great care and worked hard to make our stay comfortable. The executive rooms are quite spacious - fit in 3 adults. The rooms near the swimming pool seem interesting, were occupied. The pond is a surprise. And the restaurant food mind blowing. Don't miss the Burgers .....😉

In most Le Candless we feel apart from nature but here we feel that we are a part of nature. The beautiful swimming pool appeals to children and adults alike. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. The front desk and Le Candles staff were friendly. As it is within a mile from nit Calicut it is easily accessible by Road. The scenic beauty of the Le Candles is indescribable, it has to be experienced. Fish pond, billiards room and good food abound and add to the charm of the Le Candles.

Room was good. Approx 280 sqft i felt. Resort is a good place to get away from city life. Pool is good but not that big. Washroom was also neat but it was open on one side at the top, and there were several lizards even-though it is safe that was something i felt awkward. A good ceiling can fix the look and experience. Breakfast was good and decent. Restaurant seems to be expensive and i did not like the le candle signature burger. Reception guy is so good and staffs as well.

It was a really a very pleasant and fabulous stay. The Lecandles is an amazing property with an awesome ambiance. A visual treat indeed. Magnificent rooms, beautifully maintained, luxury at it's best and above all fantastic staff. Extremely courteous and helpful. My advice to the management is to improve the food quality. Both the dinner and breakfast was quite an average and not sumptuous. Wishing Lecandles and the team a very good luck. Best regards Dinesh Nataraj.

Loved the ambience and the way the property has been maintained. The swimming pool was very clean. Our son had a very good time there. There are activities like fishing, cycling, snooker and board games like tic tac toe, chess etc available, but we didn't explore these. Need at least two days to make the most of the time, especially when traveling with children. On the whole, a very good experience! We hope to go back there again some day)

The first time I felt a stay which yields. Value for money. Good stay. Good service, liked the pond. Enjoyed fishing. Well mannered staff. Delicious food with a variety of dishes. Especially chicken items. The pool is well maintained. Unlike other pools here they used natural stones inside the pool that itself gives a medicinal effect, once you spend a little time in the pool. On the whole, it was a nice experience. Will visit again.

Rooms are clean and hygienic and the best part is restaurant. Very good ambience, silent place, well maintained. Good staff.

Very good ambiance. Pond with swan fills your mind. All staff were well behaved and excellent service. Food also nice. Ac tookl long time to cool in the afternoon. Room phone is also not working. Overall nice stay.

We had a wonderful stay at le candles premium resort last weekend. Simple and an elegant place. Loved the food and the staff behaviour was very nice. Liju and his staffs were very cooperative. We surely will come back soon. Thank you for a memorable staycation

No proper ventilation rooms cost is highly charged by make my trip. Food facility is average and ecpensive

Very nice stay, front office support staff. Location bit inside but well maintained property. Buffet breakfast food was excellent. Possibility of adding some more activities maybe looked into. All the best to team. Big thanks.
