Le Dupleix

The Le Dupleix is classic and it may noted that it is not a normal Le Dupleix in the sense that it has a history of nearly 200 years and this french mayor residence has been restored and you can feel & experience the antique furniture and furnishings. Some shortcoming can be ignored and enjoy the stay. The staff especially mr prabhu is helpful in giving tips on places of interest and guide on various activities in pondy. Some areas needs attention of the management like dinning staff, who it seems need proper grooming and refresh training in order to be more customer oriented.

Its 150 years old property right in the middle of white town..walkable to beach..we had breakfast at promonade which is their sister concern at the beach it was amazing…since we booked on sunday checkin due to availability they upgraded my room from deluxe to suite with no cost..the rooms was simply superb…i will definetly recommend this property..people takes pictures with this property it was that good..staff is very helpful always there for gelp..

We had a wonderful experience staying there, it is property which will take you back in time. We have added breakfast to our package and they gave options for in-house breakfast or a breakfast buffet at the partner Le Dupleix promenade which is just 300mts away, and the breakfast at promenade was amazing

Awesome stay. The staff is great. I interacted a lot with prabhu, jemima rukhsar. One of the nicest people i met. One suggestion for the breakfast menu they can expand the options for food. That is bit disappointing to have same menu when u stay for more than a day.

The Le Dupleix was really good and especially the staff were really helpful. Everything was presented very well and the check in and check outs were also very smooth. If you are looking for a place which is quiet and beautiful, i would highly recommend.

One of the best heritage type of stay in pondicherry white town area. 10/10 in service, clealiness, food and ambience. Special thanks to simran, ashwati and tanya and the other staff members for their kindness and humbleness. Hope to visit again.

I spent a weekend with my wife and son of 4 years in march'24 at le dupleix. The location is perfect to access most things by walk. The Le Dupleix is also well equipped with friendly staff, and a wonderful breakfast. I will be going back here again!

With in the old part of french town and near to beach. Room is very unique. Breakfast is not to my liking.

Had a very pleasant stay. The location, ambience, room and all the service staff were amazing and very helpful. They even did some arrangements on my extra request as well.

It was a very good experience. Very helpful and supportive staff, great location and amazing food. They have inhouse live music in the evening which is makes it all the more better. Could'nt find anything where i could score them less than 5.

Very good stay, staff took care of everything. Housekeeping was great, especially ms. Padmini. Great support by jebby and prabhu at the reception. Loved the penthouse room. Would be great if you would allow pets as well. Will be back again soon!

the ambience and hospitality of this place is just indescribable. Room was well maintained and well furnished. The place is just the same as it looks in pictures. A must place to stay when in Puducherry
