I recently had the pleasure of staying at the le pondy during my visit to pondicherry. From the moment i walked through the doors, i was impressed by the level of service and the overall experience. The staff at le pondy are truly exceptional. They went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. Whether it was the warm welcome at check-in, the helpful concierge service, or the friendly housekeeping staff, their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident throughout my stay. The accommodations were nothing short of luxurious. My room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and impeccably clean. The attention to detail was remarkable, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights of my stay was the dining experience. The Le Pondy Beach and Lake Resort's restaurant offered a diverse menu of delicious dishes, and the breakfast buffet was a delightful way to start each day. The bar served expertly crafted cocktails in a sophisticated ambiance. The Le Pondy Beach and Lake Resort's amenities were top-notch. I thoroughly enjoyed the well-maintained board games room, and the spa offered a range of rejuvenating treatments. The pool area was a tranquil oasis, perfect for relaxation. Location-wise, le pondy couldn't be better situated. It was conveniently located near sandnes paradise beach, making it easy to explore the place in summary, my stay at le pondy was nothing short of outstanding. Our recent stay at le pondy resort was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly and attentive staff who made us feel welcome and relaxed. The resort itself was stunning, with breathtaking views and beautifully landscaped grounds. Our room was spacious, clean, and impeccably decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. We especially enjoyed the olympic large pool and the private beach access. The food at the resort was outstanding. We dined at several of the restaurants and were consistently impressed by the quality of the cuisine and the attentiveness of the wait staff. The resort offered a variety of activities and amenities to suit all interests. We enjoyed the large play area and sea view balcony. The staff was also happy to recommend off-site excursions and activities, which helped us make the most of our time in the area. Overall, our stay at le pondy was an unforgettable experience. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. Dishes must try beef satay.

The property is beautiful and has a spotless beach. The room was facing the lagoon, and was beautiful in the morning and evening. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. But as a property which is there since years, few aspects can be upgraded. Specifically bathroom fittings. There was no issue with hygiene just that they seemed old and had stains. The lights in the bathroom had issues. Breakfast has an elaborate spread. The kitchen is fast and they serve delicious food. Their menu is huge and have tried to have a lot of options. Loved the asian sea food and desserts. We tried the ayurvedic massage. That was a relaxing experience. Will recommend booking in advance otherwise one might have to wait. Cons: the connecting road needs repairs. Can't take long walks on the beach as it is next to another business. They charge around 120 rs per person to enter their side. Need additional seating on the beach. There's hardly anything. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway can consider this place. But this can get crowded during corporate outings.

We had reserved a lakeview room for our stay at le pondy. The rooms were neat and spacious. Till date from all my holidays, i would rate this Le Pondy Beach and Lake Resort as the best in terms of speed of service. Any query or concern was resolved within 10 mins and without follow-up. Coming to food, our package included complimentary breakfast and it had good and diverse options from english to indian cuisine. We tried buffet lunch once (it was quite expensive, and some of the items like manchurian or bajji had lost its crispness. Alacarte here i found was better, though expensive. The resort had good indoor activities like table tennis, badminton, kids basketball net, foosball, carroms, outdoor kids play area. The highlight was the private beach which was less than 100m from the property. This was very less crowded and very clean.

The Le Pondy Beach and Lake Resort is bang on the beach and is spread over a large area. The rooms are large and as we stayed in a pool villa, there was a decent sized pool. The property though is located away from white town, which is where all the restaurants are. Traffic is quite bad while driving to town. A wonderful place to chill and relax but not so good if you want to visit the restaurants. The breakfast buffet was the only negative part. Considering the amount charged, i was expecting a larger more diverse spread. The hot food counter was manned by an inexperienced cook. The ala cartea menu was good though as we had dinner there one night. The bar is empty and boring. All in all, i may go back but considering the amount charged, will probably stay in white town next time.

We have reached lepondy by 12pm and the ambience was very good and the hospitality was amazing. After filling the details in the reception desk we were greeted to our suite and the place was really superb. We were extremely happy with the ambience and the hospitality until we received the food. The food was not as expected. They are claiming it as a 4star Le Pondy Beach and Lake Resort. But the food was not that standards. Since the name was lepondy we taught european cuisine will be a good choice to order and we ordered margarita pizza, the quality and taste was very bad. We felt it will be better to order a pizza in a normal shop than to order it there. If someone is looking for a good and relaxing ambience this place is better but don’t expect the food to be good.

Pros: le pondy is a resort where they have private beach, there are resort life gaurds who takes care about safety of guests at the beach also. Beach is relatively very clean and less populated as only resort guests are allowed. That is the main attraction of le pondi. Rooms look old but are good with all required amenities, washrooms are good. Room service is very fast. Checkin checkout processing is very fast. Restaurant people are good and specially chef who prepare delicious food while they are very receptive towards criticism very humbly, that makes them very respectable. Property is clean and maintained. Cons: there needs to be be exhaust fan inside washrooms. Access road is very bad. Not much activities inside resort and needs to be maintained properly.

We returned from our stay in le pondy today. We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 little kids) and our stay and experience at le pondy was just amazing. Our sea facing room was very spacious and comfortable. The whole campus was just gorgeous. Huge open areas, lush green lawns, beautiful landscaping, addictive swimming pool, dedicated children play area the list of wonderful things is just endless. The restaurant food was very diverse and equally delicious, a little overpriced though. The entire set of staff was very courteous and caring and were always willing to help. And the icing on the cake was the wonderful private beach which was the most inviting part of le pondy. In short the experience was worth the price. Loved it totally.

I like the stay here with lavish greenery and with beach view and room service was little slow overall a good experience here

Good stay had great service. Very responsive staff. The ambience is spot-on for the venue. The food also has a lot of variety.

Pros: good food, kind hospitality. Cons: muddy road, bathrooms was a bit dirty, no hair dryer and safety locker.

Stayed for a day, resort location is the usp as they have a private beach which is super clean and one can access it from 6 to 6. Room services were also good as their response was very prompt. Overall a good stay.

I went for a 2 day staycation in le pondy resort, staff, property was amazing but breakfast spread and food quality can be improved

We stayed fr 3days on this extensive property..we had very comfortable stay..it’s little faroff frm white town n all bt manageable..staff was very efficient,polte n helping ..i wld mention Mr L.Suresh who was always so eager to help with big smile👍

Property is good, the staff and services was good. Other than swimming pool, there are no physical activities where you can involve the guest. You will see that most of the guest will be in the beach. This gives less interaction among the guest and the Le Pondy Beach and Lake Resort people. Please look into this.

The stay was completely awesome. Rooms were so clean and well maintained. Ambience was classy and exquisite. We loved the food. Private beach gave us a safe and comfortable feeling. We had really a great time enjoying the beach. The staffs are so hospitable. And it is a perfect spot for photographers and instagramers.

Good stay

The property is very good. Just next to the beach and water sports park. Staff is courteous and warm. Food is reasonably priced and overall service level is excellent. Great place for family with kids as kids just love the open space and the sea beach.
