Lemon Tree Hotel, Shimona, Chennai

Stayed at the resort for 2 nights. We certainly could have stayed for longer. Everything there is of utmost quality. The hospitality, ambience, location, food. You name it. The adjacent beach is very clean and well maintained. We even witnessed bioluminescence during an evening. Both the pools are worth taking dip in. Staff is very friendly. Everyone we met greeted us with smile. Buffet breakfast has good spread of international/desi food, with one of the best ambiences we have been to so far. The resort is huge and has trees everywhere, which is a treat to eyes. Food is a bit on expensive side, but you have a few good restaurants outside including an a2b, in case you are cost conscious. Overall we had awesome experience. Will stay here for sure during our next visit to mahabalipuram.

Location was perfect, it's almost at a walking distance from chennai trade centre where our conference was. Was given a big room and was more than enough for relaxation and comfort. Rooms were clean, well maintained including the linen and the washrooms. Reception was very welcoming and even for a short stay, it was worth every penny. Would recommend and come again for sure.

This was just an overnight stay, and my opinion is not comprehensive. Comfortable for a short stay. Clean beds and bathrooms. Food was good. Breakfast was good. Staff were good. Only suggestion could be that the place needs to be reconditioned.

Nice property, close to chennai airport. Staff is courteous and offered a room upgrade. Rooms are fairly large and well maintained. Gym is functional with decent equipment. Restaurant and food is good.

The stay was very good & confortable. Service and food also found very good, hygeine clenliness at site found superb. Overall excellent experience. Thanks to the local staff for superb coordination

Smooth check-in experience. I was upgraded to free dinner and that was a nice gesture. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Food was good even-though the options were limited.
