Lemon Tree Hotel, Shimona, Chennai

Stayed at the resort for 2 nights. We certainly could have stayed for longer. Everything there is of utmost quality. The hospitality, ambience, location, food. You name it. The adjacent beach is very clean and well maintained. We even witnessed bioluminescence during an evening. Both the pools are worth taking dip in. Staff is very friendly. Everyone we met greeted us with smile. Buffet breakfast has good spread of international/desi food, with one of the best ambiences we have been to so far. The resort is huge and has trees everywhere, which is a treat to eyes. Food is a bit on expensive side, but you have a few good restaurants outside including an a2b, in case you are cost conscious. Overall we had awesome experience. Will stay here for sure during our next visit to mahabalipuram.

I had booked suite room with lemon tree shimona, chennai. This room has separate dining place, bedroom and first room. It has two washrooms of which one has attached bath area including bath tub. Breakfast is complimentary. We had requested for an extra bed. The stay was comfortable and the entire staff was cooperative and courteous. This Lemon Tree Hotel, Shimona, Chennai is about 20-25 minutes drive from chennai airport (depending upon traffic conditions. There is reliance trends, puma shop in the adjacent building.

Location was perfect, it's almost at a walking distance from chennai trade centre where our conference was. Was given a big room and was more than enough for relaxation and comfort. Rooms were clean, well maintained including the linen and the washrooms. Reception was very welcoming and even for a short stay, it was worth every penny. Would recommend and come again for sure.

It was my first time staying at lemontree, and it was a comfortable experience. however, what truly made a difference was the staff. From the warm welcome at the entrance to the helpful front desk, the diligent housekeeping, and the attentive servers, everyone contributed to making my stay exceptional. Stay was pleasant. Staff were polite and room was well maintained. Toiletries etc were available and i didn't have to call anyone. Food standards were very basic and not up to actual lemon tree Lemon Tree Hotel, Shimona, Chennai expectations. If this was upgraded, this is definitely five star.

This was just an overnight stay, and my opinion is not comprehensive. Comfortable for a short stay. Clean beds and bathrooms. Food was good. Breakfast was good. Staff were good. Only suggestion could be that the place needs to be reconditioned.
