Lemon Tree Vembanad Lake Resort

The stay was pleasant and comfortable. The resort is built in serene and green surroundings on the bank of the vembanad lake. The breakfast time is 7:30 onward s but the waiters serve the breakfast sparingly and hedistatingly, hardly prepared by 7:30 a. M. I availed of the spa centre; although the massage ingredients were good, the masseurs seem to need some training. Housekeeping and reception staff were polite and cooperative. The room phone works only through the operator on number 9, the rest of the numbers seem unresponsive. I did not receive any intimation about my taxi booking ( which was done in september) until the last moment, so i booked another taxi immediately before my flight was to take off from delhi on 28. 10. 2022, paying rs 3152. However at kochi airport there were two taxis out of which i rode the one driven by one anas mohammed against my initial booking. I did not ride the other taxi from kochi to my Lemon Tree Vembanad Lake Resort in muhamma, alleppey, although i had paid in full for it due to lack of confirmation till the last moment. Since i paid rs 3152 without availing the taxi service may i request to refund that amount please. I had received a whatsapp message regarding the unutilized taxi, promising refund of rs 3152. The Lemon Tree Vembanad Lake Resort had arranged taxi and tempo taxi for me to travel to alleppey backwaters, kumarakom, athirapally. The food quality served in breakfast and dinner ( didn't avail lunch ) was satisfactory. I advise them to serve more ethic dishes like aviyal. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The interiors are quite elegant. The Lemon Tree Vembanad Lake Resort grounds have a playground for children ; however the net area of the resort is a bit less. It could be extended from the garden outwards. Well, nothing can be perfect, but on the whole good value for money

Nestled away in a small corner of a nondescript village, lemon tree gives a rejuvenating experience of being far from the madding crowd. Choose this property for a relaxed holiday by the infinity pool overlooking expansive vembanad lake. You can't get uberized, zomatoed here, which means you have to arrange taxi, auto or have a good walk down the unwinding road towards the main connecting road to arrange something of your own. Nothing can be served impromptu and options are limited. Though the culinary experience is good but takes time (but they do give the disclaimer this will take. Time and that will take. Time. Citrus cafe has a good view. You can enjoy in house kerala massage, which are equally priced compared to any outside massage centers. Kumarakom is very small area and more action is in alleppey, which only 18-20 km away, but more commercialized and comes with humdrum of day to day life. Don't expect alleppey from kumarakom and vice versa. Sometimes call connectivity is also not that great and wifi/whatsapp calls work better. It's a small cosy oasis in itself. Staff is helpful and helps you get whatever you need. Compared to alleppey, kumarakom overall has limited options for tourist spots, shopping, houseboat/speedboat, eateries, massage etc. But if disconnecting from the tapestries of the world is your agenda, this is the perfect place. Enjoy your vacation, stay and true disconnect from the world for a laidback time off.

Lemon tree – Vembanad lake resort is well located, adjacent to the Lake with a beautiful view including a large size lake island. Lake flora and fauna abound and almost all the rooms have a direct view with large lake facing windows / doors (upper floor rooms have a superior view). Rooms are very spacious with high ceiling, ante-rooms and large washrooms also relatively well maintained. The exterior though had a run-down look in some parts and could do with a regular coat of paint. When you stay here food has to be had at the resort and would be good to include it in the package. Breakfast and Dinner buffet was sumptuous with considerable options and good quantities. There is only one restaurant which is spacious, well located and well manned. There are some amount of leisure options with open grassy lawns, swimming pool (8am-8pm) and some indoor games but not a very strong point. Motor Boats can be hired for a closer look at the lake. Overall a very relaxing experience of the Kerala Backwaters and very much value for money.

The location of the property is excellent. You get the view of huge vembanad lake. We stayed in pool deck room in which balcony opens up to pool and view of the lake. The view from the room on a lovely weather is just too good. There is a near by boating center from where you can do boating to a near by island. Breakfast was ok. We opted for included dinner tariff and for dinner you have pure set menu from which you can choose. Again the quantity was really good but taste was just ok. Resort staff are really good and always helpfull. Property needs real maintenance and renovation which resort staff said they are going to start very soon. Seems the resort is badly impacted due to covid.

First the pros, 1) tasty and scrumptious meals : anu(manager - citrus cafe, abhilash (chef) went an extra mile to cater for individual taste palates and were flexible w. R. T timings of our meals. 2) peaceful location and great view of the pool alongside the lake 3) clean Lemon Tree Vembanad Lake Resort rooms 4) hospitality : Lemon Tree Vembanad Lake Resort staff is warm, welcoming and more than accommodating to any requests made. 5) spa : the Lemon Tree Vembanad Lake Resort has its own spa room with affordable rates and bespoke timing. Cons: the only issue is the overall maintenance of common areas. Heart in heart, a very warm and peaceful stay alongside lake vembanad.

We stayed in this beautiful lake view property from 13/8/22 to 14/8/22. The view from the room was breathtaking and we were lucky enough to get the room which had both infinity pool and the lakeview ! the room was clean and spacious! manoj and front office female staff ( sorry can’t remember the name) were really helpful and accommodated us early on request as we reached early than our check in time! food needs little improvement but given the fact that the resort was re opened just 3 months ago, they have done a great job in managing full packed resort on that day! we would definitely visit this property on our next kerala trip for the hospitality and serene view.

Food is average, menu can be much better to include more traditional kerala dishes property location is excellent on vembanad lake but is old and bit rundown it is very much in need of a major upgrade and landscaping staff is very helpful, nice and supportive kerala massage services is very good can be made the highlight to give the kerala experience also connectivity to the Lemon Tree Vembanad Lake Resort can be improved if lemon tree at minimum gives an airport to and from service lemon tree resort has the best location with a fantastic view but experience and footfall can be drastically improved if the above points are improved

It was superb all togather. All staff from receptionist, room service person, kitchen staff n supervisor, swimming pool care taker including the gm are found to be highly courteous n hospitable. Excellent rooms. My family loved it. Yes. Please add/arrange boat service for the guests with additional payment. Don’t give discount nor i am giving my feed back for getting rebate. It’s my sincere observation n feedback for those who are working so much in lemon tree vemvanad to make the stay of us so comfortable. Regards.

Wonderful location, peaceful and good neat rooms.

The stay was good with big room and lot of space in it. Room was comfortable. Not satisfied with the food items as there were only few options available in the menu. Apart from that it was a nice stay

Nice property to stay with family with kids. Decent food options for breakfast and dinner. Very good service and great friendly staffs. I like the pool and the view, but sometimes the lake smell kills the ambience. Difficult to find the property due to bad road from the main road to entrance. I dont like the lake smell, that is unpleasant.

The property is very scenic with good service and jovial staff. Outdoor play area may need an upgrade.

The stay was very beautiful. The staff were extremely courteous. The in house dining was tasty although the options were limited. Few staff like mr madhu and restaurant staff were very helpful

Had a wonderful stay at lemon tree. Great room and excellent service. Could have a better menu but the food was great!

Property was very good. Pool had an amazing view. Rooms were clean and had all the amenities. The location is a bit outside the town.

The resort is little far from city but worth the traveling beautiful location great hospitality well behaved staff had a lovely time there

Supportive staffs. Spacious rooms. They gave us room on ground floor. Which's open to pool. The view was superb. Good food.

Property could have been not more well maintained. The menu should be improved and increased. The swimming pool was not clean maybe due to the lake. Big rooms, courteous staff. Western spa service is missing. Only ayurveda massage is available at a very reasonable price.

A fantastic property set in the background of vembenad lagoon the ambience and rooms of the property was excellent the staff were cordial and helpful the breakfast was really superb need to improve on the local seafood alleppey cuisine. Already review. Not now
