Light of Landour

It's very centrally located, 5 mins walk to char dukan and 15 mins to lal tibba. The staff, including kalit at reception, nisha and pankaj at the restaurant as well as akshay, the excellent chef took goid care of us and gave service with a smile. The rooms were well decorated with king size bed, tea naming facilities, excellent branded fittings in the bathrooms, huge veranda & brilliant views! don't get conned into staying at pricey Light of Landours like rokeby manor or deodar woods, which charge exorbitantly & are there for just adding snob value & name dropping, to others. Instead, stay here. But you can definitely eat at cafe ivy at deodar woods, which offers very delicious continental food at reasonable rates.

Rooms are spacious and cozy with a distinctive personification of old british homes. Staff was very helpful. Food is great even the continental dishes are well prepared. Location is based on a quite nature loving scenery away from noisy and crowded nature of mall road. The only issue is that you need to take a separate transportation from Light of Landour to mall road as it is appx. 4 km away from mall road. But that will be there as the location is away from crowded area of mussoorie. A must getaway for people interested in a quite serene natural resort with something different vibe.

The valley view is not exactly a clean valley view. Also there's not much view in room, any view is from small open hall they've made outside room. Service is excellent, breakfast service is good, in house restaurant has few good items. If i hadn't been disappointed by expected 'valley view" i would've given 6/5 to the Light of Landour

Landour is beautiful serene town beautiful well maintained property staff was very courteous and polite whether at the reception or at coffee shop arvind and robin were great in serving breakfast buffet was good food was good it is just walk-in distance from char dukan our stay was awesome

It was a wonderful stay. The staff was so hospitable. The rooms have old British European touch to it. It was a great stay. Recommended to my family and friends. A special mention - Mr Robin who arranged loveliest and delicious 'Pahadi' cuisine for all of us. Thanks 👍

Amazing place. And even better staff. Highly recommended for anyone who’s more interested in enjoying a relaxed time, walking to nearby cafés, watching the clouds and the mountains from your balcony and embracing the beauty of Landour

The property is very well maintained and you can actually enjoy the serene atmosphere there. The food is also very good. Staff were very well disciplined and polite. Walkable distance to landour bakehouse, char dukaan, lal tibia etc.

It was a beautiful property, so well curated. Loved our experience here! The staff was helpful and the meals were also amazing.

Hotel is good and location is great, near to bake house and all tourist spots. Room is based on different themes and employees are nice to guest . The only drawback is there food quality is not good and price is on higher side.
