I had the privilege to spend a day at this warm and beautiful home stay. The rooms are well-maintained, cozy, and neat. The best part is the location. It’s a stone’s throw away from the srinagar airport and perfectly situated closer to the bypass road. This is great for tourists who wish to travel further to gulmarg, pahalgam, or sonamarg as they can bypass the srinagar traffic which is quite dense in the morning hours. Food is delicious and it exposes the visitors to the rich culinary culture of kashmir! you wouldn’t get to taste the local cuisine at the Lit Homestays but this home stay is a perfect place to not just relish the local cuisine but also learn more about it! one of the best features of the home stay is the warmth and hospitality of the host, dr. Qazi! dr. Qazi shahib is very well-learned, erudite, and personable. Having spent over 3 decades in the middle east and having traveled to over 60 countries he has a broader perspective of looking at things and is genuinely curious to understand the cultural backgrounds and intellectual pursuits of the guests. Dr. Qazi shahib loves walking his guests around his garden which he maintains himself and enrich them with his diverse perspectives on a bewilderingly wide range of topics. It was an absolute delight to meet him and know him. Salim, who attends to the needs of the visitors is very graceful and highly responsive. I would strongly encourage families to choose this home stay over the Lit Homestays in srinagar. Especially, if you’re a family that’s curious to learn more about the kashmiri culture and heritage. Dr. Qazi shahib is a perfect host!

Lit homestay is a very good home stay, we enjoyed a lot here. We stayed 4 to 5 days here. Mudasir is very friendly and helpful guy and he helped us starting before the tour and even after we checkout from here. Food also is very delicious in this property i would recommend this lit homestay for everyone. It z very near to airport & city center. Irfan bhai is very helpful and good in behaviour. Adil bhai is a very professional driver and also good in nature thanks kashmir to give special memories in my life once again thanks to lit homestay.
