LODGE LIPIKA

It was our last minute plan to use the 26th Jan holiday this year and we planned to visit Bolpur-Santiniketan again. Lodge Lipika was not in our list of stays, but it was one of the few options which was available. We reached Bolpur by Shatabdi at 4:05 pm. The thought behind booking this lodge which was, it would be near to Bolpur station and the first day at Bolpur anyway would be a waste, so lets take some rest that day. Now, the decision was quite right. The rooms were neat and clean, service and behaviour was excellent. Spacious rooms, AC, hot and cold water, 24 hour CCTV surveillance in common areas like gate, stairs etc. Strong Wi-Fi connectivity. The only drawback is, at it is a lodge, it doesn't have it's kitchen. Also being at the odd side of the station (Ukil-Patty), you need to get your food crossing the rail over bridge. But then when you think about the rent paid for a good stay (I paid INR 950 for double bed), it appears to be value for money. When your train arrives at late night or departs at early morning it's the best one night stay you can find around Bolpur train station.

The LODGE LIPIKA is located at a throwing distance from Bolpur Platform No 3. The rooms are adequately spaced, neat and clean. The LODGE LIPIKA does not have any restaurant but the staff can arrange lunch and dinner in the room. Menu Cards of several LODGE LIPIKAs are available at the reception, one can chose menu from them and the rooms service staff will bring them. The bathroom has hot-n-cold water facilities. The staff is very cooperative and well behaved. One can get a guidance about the city tour from the reception and the staff. The LODGE LIPIKA is secured by round the clock close-circuit camera and nearest police station is just a kilometer away. It's good deal and value for money.

Comfortable for couple stay. Location is very good and the staff behaviour is very friendly. Rooms are also very clean and airy and also looks like the familiar conditions. Anybody can stay easily in this LODGE LIPIKA. And also home service facilities of any kind of foods are available here. Staff of this LODGE LIPIKA are very helpful. So I very much like of this LODGE LIPIKA. Next time if I go Santiniketan, I will must stay in this LODGE LIPIKA. Many many thanks for comfortable and suitable conditions of this LODGE LIPIKA.

Well, firstly the location is good for 1st time visitors as the lodge is only a 2 minutes walk from Bolpur S Nikitin station. You need to take the overbridge to walk across the Platform No. 2, towards the LODGE LIPIKA. The room services are good and the LODGE LIPIKA does not own its own kitchen services. They would take the order and deliver it to you from their known nearby restaurant. The rooms are good and cleanliness is up to the mark but they are a bit lazy and take time in offering ordered services.

Location: walkable distance from bolpur stn hygiene: needs to work on hygiene, safety : i stayed at ground floor. Safe but windows are not covered with safety/ mosquito net, you can't keep it open due mosquito or personnel safety. At same can't keep it close as there won't be cross ventilation in the room. All room s window needs to be fitted with mosquito safety net. New aquagurd to be fitted for good water.

Good to stay for the a night. Just beside of the Bolpur Rail Station Platform No 2. No restaurant facilities. They arrange food from local restaurant & charge extra. The behaviour Manager & the staff are polite. Rooms are clean but short. Nice place to stay just for a day. Specially when you have to catch a mid night train. Not recommend to stay with family or to stay for a long time.

Though the lodge is on opposite side of Shantiniketan college (with respect to the station), but it is very near the station. Toto charges Rs. 30 to the college(Sriniketan) and 20 to Shantiniketan. Though food is not available in the lodge, but there is a tea stall right outside the lodge and good quality meal is found in the IRCTC canteen (Jan Aahar) at the station.

Since it was during the time of Basanta Utsab, we had to pay more than thrice the amount one pays during usual times. Otherwise, the stay was nice. The service provided them was good. The location is the best pro. Can be seen from station. The only con is they don't have in-house kitchen. They do provide food if we ask them to get from neighboring food stalls.

Very clean, good staff, very near to railway Station. A good budget LODGE LIPIKA.

Overall, experience is good. Hotel is clean though it can be improved, near to railway station and service was provided is very good.

Nearest to stn. Always prefer staying here. Calm n peaceful area. Good rooms n facilities.

The room was good. And the location is excellent. It is near station. Infact statio is just 2 minutes from the LODGE LIPIKA. The place is very peaceful. Good for family weekend trip. I will like to stay here each time I go to shantiniketan

The LODGE LIPIKA is situated near bolpur railway station & is at a walking distance from it. Hotel doesn't have its own restaurant but you can order your food from the counter. The staff are good and they will assist you to plan your travel. Overall the experience at this LODGE LIPIKA was good

Very good.. All are OK.. Room is very clean.. No problem at all. Location of Hotel is also good... All facilities are good.. Services are also good... But money is high.. Thank you for this experience...

Very good LODGE LIPIKA. Staffs are well behaved. Room's cleanness is well.

Lodge is neat and clean. Lodge is near to Bolpur station. Staff was very friendly. They help us a lot. They gives us lots of suggestion for travelling. They arrange food also. The food is delicious. Good to visit in bolpur. I like to again stay in this lodge.
