Lumino Karthika

It's a decent place you can spend some money on if your plan is more about staying out from morning to night and coming back only for sleeping and few hours of late night banter with your squad. I said this because this place is more of inside the city from where you can't get a scenic view from you room window (they don't have balconies). If you want to spend good time in your Lumino Karthika as well as want some beautiful treats for your eyes, I'll suggest spend some more and go for resort like places which are mostly 10-15 km outside Munnar but at strategic location. My case was totally different. My group was with a plan demanding minimum time inside the closed rooms. So, we went for this place, as it was not anyway digging holes in the pocket and a really comfortable place to sleep out some 7-8 hours in night. Summarizing all, if you don't want to invest much on accommodation and want a decent clean and comfortable stay. This place is for sure a must pick.

The place of the Lumino Karthika was good, easy to find. There are lot of nearby restaurants. You'll find a nearby off shop as well. Hotel rooms were clean and balcony view was moderately okay. The photos of Karthika which are given on MakeMyTrip website, do not much resemble with the actual view, still the view is pretty awesome. Hot water service is only available from 5 am to 9 am everyday, so it's difficult for guests to use water after evening as it gets really chilled.

Good value for the money. Hospitality was good and room was also good for the money paid. They arrange for local trips to visit places at Munnar. They provide coupons for breakfast to nearby good restaurant "Hotel Sangeetha". Although hot water is limited until 9am, but on request basis they support with provision. Tea served in the room by morning was good.

I stayed for one night. It is not that bad as the reviews suggest. The people are helpful and the manager is good. Location is quite nice. Overall it's a good place to stay on a minimal budget. You can find good restaurants nearby. It's not far from the city. You will get hot water between 6-9. Quite a good stay for one night.

Nice stay at Karthika Residency. Kind and helpful staff. Good Location and pleasant view from Lumino Karthika. Near to centre place of Munnar. Bus stand, shopping and restaurants are at walking distance. We traveled thr local auto to enjoy sightseeing. Felt like in heaven. Overall economical and great stay with family.

This Lumino Karthika in Munnar was good to stay. Walking distance to main town and to m They recently had the pest control and so the rooms vert smelly. The room was naturally ventilated ... So feeling chilling cold. We asked for a day outing and bingo, the manager booked a great tour guide driver. The day made awesome

It was good environment there, recommended Lumino Karthika as per my view point. Behavior of the stuffs were good. But recommended to arrange food facilities in Lumino Karthika itself. Cleanliness was good but not so high I would say. Overall its a nice experience to stay in that Lumino Karthika.

Staff are very responsive and service quality is good, but the location, room ambience are just average. Actual price is high for the quality of the Lumino Karthika, but for the discounted price, it was ok. Rooms are not well maintained, need to be cleaned properly. The linen, beds etc not clean.

Good and peaceful environment with near and tidy

Hot water was not provided in time in night. Rest everything was good, we felt difficult to reach due road repair.

Room size was decent and clean but washroom was very cozy hardly you can have good shower. Other than washroom other things were well and good.

I was stayed in the Lumino Karthika with my family, the total experience was good. Customer friendly service from the staff. Worth of money. Easy to access all area's in munnar.

Experience was good but the location of the Lumino Karthika is 1 or 1. 5 km from the market. But the service was good. Bathroom was average main thing is the complementary breakfasts was mind blowing. Hotel staff are also good. Overall the experience was good
