LUXE Glamp

Our stay at luxe camp was good but we ended up staying for 3 nights and for that long tenure it’s not worth it. The view is fabulous but the approach to the place could be scary for timid drivers. There is only one person who handles the entire place , Arjun was courteous and polite; he helped us with all our concerns but he is the only point of contact and there are no shifts so it might get quite hectic for him and owing to which there may be glitches. It establishment is comfortable but it can get very very cold at night and so you should carry warm clothes. The food offered was average at best l, although they offered fine dining cuisine, it was disconnected from the local produce and most of the time the operations were managed by a few attenders who would have to hike up and down and give us the food which is a tedious task for them as well. A simple mess time arrangement at a specific time with simple food with local produce would be quite enticing but may not ve Instagram friendly. For the high cost that you pay, the operations need to better and one cannot fault Arjun at all because he has to manage every single guest, there definitely should be shifts for the employees to provide better service to the customers. Overall yoy pay for the view and the novelty of the concept , it’s not an experience you would come back for. I would still recommend it for just a one night stay, you will get your beautiful insta stories and breathtaking views as well as the hot tub which was definitely an enjoyable experience.

Our stay at luxeglamp kodaikanal was very pleasant. We booked a 2 nights stay at the beloved glamp. The drive from kodaikanal to the glamp site at poonbarai took an hour. The last 8km of the road was really rocky, bumpy and filled with steep curves. We would advise future glampers to take this into account when planning the trip. The property itself is housed on a hill that has a beautiful view of a scenic waterfall and overseeing the poombarai town and kodai town. The view is breathtaking and really makes one feel one with nature. We visited during the first week of april and the weather is very pleasant and gets as low as 18 degrees at night. The view is facing the east and therefore sunrise is a must catch. Our property came with a hot tub, hammock and nice seats overlooking the mountains. The interior is comfortable for 2 people and can house up to 4. Comes with a fold-able sofa/ bed and a king size bed. Heater and fan is provided. The room, towels and sheets were smelling good and fresh. But no toiletries were provided. The restaurant is located at the top of the property and the glamps are located down below. So trekking up to the restaurant for every meal can be a little challenging. The food options for vegetarians are minimalistic but the chef did a decent job. The pasta and noodles were good. Breakfast options can definitely be improved. Overall we found the stay to be very pleasant and we felt one with nature. Definitely a needed getaway from the bustling city life.

It was certainly an unique experience to stay at luxeglamp @kodaikanal. The location just blew me away. Nestled among-st this quiet and serene poombarai hills with just the valleys and waterfalls for your company i could not have asked for anything more. We stayed in the moroccan stay and i have to say it was very tastefully done. Nothing overboard, just simplicity and elegance in sync with nature. Lovely staff who takes care of you well. The hammock and jacuzzi just added to the luxury. If i could give an honest feedback it would be about the food which i feel can be made even better. The food was definitely good but can take it up a notch. Especially when you only have two desserts on your menu, they ought to be out of the world. I did try the tiramisu. Visually it did look appealing and rustic and inviting but when it came to taste and the feel in the mouth it was far away from the original. Being a pastry chef myself i guess i can be a tough nut to crack on that. But seriously keep up the good work and i do look forward to go bubble glam-ping in munnar soon. All the very best guys.

Accommodation: 4 distance : 25 kms from kodai kanal, atleast takes 2 hours from kodai kanal. Reach the luxe glamp before 5:00 pm else you have to face lot of difficulties to reach it. Vision is not clear on the road. Full of fog in this december. Safe:100% safe staff: friendly staff roads:100% not safety as it is a ghat road so start early to reach before 5:00 pm its a new concept and still under construction. Water falls is very near to luxe glamp. This is a special attraction. Food:not at all good. I would suggest to take it from outside if possible. Breakfast is 100% fine they will off the power at 11:00 pm. This is not an issue as we don't require any fans there. Not at all advisable to nasal issues patients like asthma cold and cough allergic people/patients. Not advisable to take kids as it's too cold in there. Best spot for couples and honeymoon people. One thing is they charged us even for a coke which kept in the room. They could have leave it uncharged. Rest it's the best spot and once in a life time visit.

Pros- location, scenic views, overall experience. Cons- food, check-in at 3pm, non-functional appliances. Mainly we are paying for the cost of concept, which is alright as a onetime stay. It is great for mountain lovers though, as u get valley views & waterfall right from the room. Other than that, the food is mediocre, better ventilation is required in the restaurant dome, the jacuzzi & exhaust in the room are faulty non-functional. One major pain point could be the late check-in time i. E; 3pm which is not a standard time by any means. The management can look into these issues, and rectify them to ensure a better experience & returning guests.

Pros: very good ecostay. Glam p is well maintained. Food quality and service is good. Cons: highly overpriced. I have stayed in a ecostay property in munnar for our anniversary. They had charged for 2 nights, including stay in tree house and tea garden bungalow, complimentary breakfast & dinner, cakes, chocolates, room arrangements for special occasion. But in lux glamp, we paid per night. Only breakfast is included with the package. Everything else is chargeable. Amenities includes hammocks and jacuzzi. You will hardly use the hammocks. Water in jacuzzi is smelly. We could see algae. Overall: very good ecostay but highly overpriced

True to its words. Come and experience here camping with luxury. We stayed in natura. From each dome you get a breathtaking view of valley and stream. Dome shaped rooms are aesthetically designed and comfortable for family stay. Unwind here and enjoy calm and serene atmosphere. Although food options they provide are very few. Which is quite understandable owing to its location. But taste wise it's fine. Definitely go for it if you want to experience camping with family. One day stay is enough for you to enjoy this unique and wonderful stay.

The charge is for the view it provided. Breath taking view from the glam enjoyed every moment. Except for a few suggestions things were very nice. If you are planning for an occasion and you would like have a cake or something, they do not provide you that. they will only provide you a plum cake that too packed one. I got a little upset because it was my husband’s birthday and they surprised me with a plum cake/ dates walnut cake ( which looks like a plum cake which you get in stores). Except that.. everything’s fantastic.

Excellent luxury stay near nature. Just beautiful. I wish there were some name boards on road from kodai to guide guests to the stay. Loved the ambience, food and service.

I booked nature glamp for my family. Glam p was very neat and tidy. View from the glamp was awesome. Food was good.

This was a life time experience. The glamp was mind blowing. No words to describe the 360 view. Any where you look there is a canvas. And hospitality is great and the staffs are always helpful.

I stayed at luxe glam p for a day with my family and found the experience so very pleasant. Though the road to the glam-ping site was not very easy to drive, the final destination was worth a check. The staff was very good, the dome was well maintained and clean. The food was not great but wasn’t bad either for a remote location like this. Do give it a try and thank me later

Location for a relaxing stay can't be better, you get hill and waterfall view from the stay. Only thing is that the road leading to luxe is a little rough and hard to drive on so be a little careful with that.

The ambience speaks a lot. Mesmerized to see the view. Polite staffs. Individual escort. We asked for honeymoon decor. It's really great. We enjoyed our stay. That hot water bathdub nailed the show. Thank you so much.

The rooms are luxurious and you can experience unique stay over here. Food is not that great and it requires improvement. The roads to reach luxeglamp from poomparai is not that good

It was our 1st experience to stay in a glamp. And we thoroughly enjoyed it, especially our little one. The staff is courteous. Thanks for the complimentary horse ride. Water in jacuzzi could be fresh. Else everything was nice.

A pleasant stay with breathtaking views and awesome staff. It’s a literal walk in nature with a splash of trekking like experience. Donot miss the view from the table top and the visit to the private waterfalls. The positioning of the hammock, waterfalls and the shoring of the birds all provides a lifetime experience

We loved the hot tub jacuzzi spa in the freezing cold weather, breathtaking views of the valley, sound of waterfalls made us feel we were in the middle of nowhere, road to the property was quite tricky, gave us an off-road experience, food options and taste need to be improved.

Stayed for a night at luxeglamp, kodai. In india best place to stay camp at kodai. Location is very good. River and mountain views are awesome. Staff are very useful friendly and service is good. Food quality is awesome. Highly recommended to stay with family in camp located in top of the mountain.
