Luxury Inn Badyari Palace Houseboats

Property is located in dal lake. Need to board a complementary boat service from ghat no 9 to reach the houseboat. The ghat no 9 is just opposite the bistro boulevard restaurant. The rooms are very beautiful in luxury inn housboat. But you may experience frequent power outage and it is very normal anywhere in kashmir. The rooms here are air conditioned which will keep the room warmer and comfortable during your stay. The name of the person who is taking care of the guests is j avid ahmed. He is very polite and caring. He always help guests with all sort of requirements.

Been to this houseboat for just one night in april 1st week, happened to be my perfect and heavenly stay in kashmir trip. Rooms and common areas: super clean, excellent decor, to the perfection. Food: hot, tender and delicious food. Service and hospitality : 100, homely, polite host, i will highly recommend badyari house boat with host ‘hilal’, my little daughter was so attached to him, we will surely miss him a lot. Hats off and kudos to the management of this boat for making our stay most memorable!

Never felt so homely and at peace in a houseboat. The houseboat was amazingly clean and very well maintained. The rooms were luxurious and top notch! the hot water supply made our trip better. What i loved the most was the food. It was delicious just like home cooked meals. I requested if we could have pulao for dinner and the staff happily agreed for the same. The staff were super helpful. Special thanks to wasim bhaiya for making us feel at ease. I 10/10 recommend badyari houseboat to everyone! )

I was on a solo cycling trip in the Himalayan region when I landed up at Badyari. I was carrying a high end mountain bike and they made sure to keep it safe. The whole Badyari team is very wonderful and helpful. The location of the houseboat is excellent with a proper view of Dale lake. The best part is the outdoor open sitting area in-front of the houseboat. I will highly recommend this place to all the travelers to Srinagar. Cheers to team Badyari for being such a wonderful host.

Good clean room and friendly staff, it is also located in the relatively quiet section of Dal Lake and has a beautiful front view. In food, I only had the kahwa and that was fairly good. However, this is not really value for money at all, the room charges do not include heating (you have to pay extra) or electric blankets and there is no power backup. This was the most expensive room in my trip, yet the one with fewest facilities.

Unlike other boats this one is slightly inside and not visible from the dal lake road. The surrounding waters are clean so not a breeding ground for mosquitoes unlike others. So overall good hygienic rooms and location. Food was good and made by the caretaker who was also very welcoming. The boat has a beautiful entrance hall. Downside - the boats were clustered with another boat so you can’t keep your curtains or windows opened.

It was a wonderful experience of staying at Luxury Inn Badyari Palace Housebosts. Ambience was awesome and the view from Houseboat was superb n so happening. Hospitality was excellent and the caretaker Billal gave an excellent n satisfactory service. He was polite and he gave very good service. I will recommend it to go once here even whenever I will come next tym to Srinagar, I will stay it here only.

We had quite a pleasant stay at badayari palace houseboat. There is a general opinion that hb's are neither safe nor clean. However, our experience was extremely different. Not only we regretted staying only for a day, but we were amazed by our experience. Badyari palace is amazing and the host - mr bilal, is simply fabulous at extending great hospitality. Thank you mr bilal for everything.

Totally comfortable and very well maintained

Lovely stay. The people were kind, loving and showered us with excellent hospitality. The boathouse is not a 5-star Luxury Inn Badyari Palace Houseboats, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. A special thanks to Wasim for making our journey memorable.

Best thing about it is the calm that surrounds you. Mr bilal looked after us with great care. Wonderful view and great woodwork on the house boat. Overall a great experience. Ps- take shikara ride only after reaching houseboat

The decorations were awesome. Food was great. The bedroom was little small. Everything else was perfect.

You will get sparkling clean rooms and washrooms here. No one is allowed to carry their shoes inside the houseboat.
