Luxury Prince of Kashmir

Prince of Kashmir houseboat are attached with club Mahindra. We were 4 families who went to Srinagar and booked 4 rooms through club Mahindra and balance 2 rooms from prince of Kashmir houseboat but this is a trap, they sell rooms in their name at a very high price and give you some other nearby houseboat saying it is in their group of houseboat. On voucher it was mentioned AC but there was no AC, attendant was missing whole first day, no Wi-Fi. Boat given to us was Anarkali which was available in Rs. 1700 whereas we have paid Rs. 3800 for the name of prince of Kashmir houseboat. So be aware before booking this.

Its very strange to know that its not Prince Of Kashmir houseboat. Its basically a Prince Tours and Travel who book houseboats by showing Prince Of Kashmir houseboat which is on lease to Club Mahindra for six years and they are making booking by showing Prince Of Kashmir. Also houseboat they are providing are just ordinary. There is no AC in any of houseboat and they say that they have informed MMT about this but no action being taken by MMT so please beware of these travel agents.

Excellent hospitality, clean cosy and tidy rooms, all well maintained and bathrooms with all modern fittings and amenities. The food was very delicious. The staff is very polite and helpful. Kudos to mr. Tariq, his partner, the chef and the owner mr. Wasim for their hospitality. Highly recommended.

Nice stay very near from delegate and staff very much cooperative best visit awesome view big rooms nice washroom complete package value for every penny nice dinner lunch fully decorated traditional look.

Very nice stay, amazing experience in dal lake. Heating in room was with a/c. Went little low at night. But good amnesties and food was great. Went for a shikara ride in the morning and was blissful.

Room ambience where food was served was not at all up to the mark. The quality of food was also not that great.

They also gave us various tips for our travel. The Shikara was available when required. They provided hot water for bath which was most appreciated in cold climate. Thanks

A palatial houseboat, albiet poorly maintained with hygiene not upto the mark. Superb food. The caretakers were more interested in tips and review.
