Machaan Plantation Resort Sakleshpur

Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at machan plantation resort in sakleshpur and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautifully designed property and gracious staff. *accommodation: our deluxe room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchenette, a outside seating area with stunning views *amenities: the resort offered a fantastic range of amenities for all ages. There is a very well maintained game room with carrom, table tennis and other indoor games. The fish feeding activity in the resort ponds is an absolute delight for children. The coffee plantation walk conducted by nobi was extremely well done and was very informative. The evening bonfire and the documentary shows were particularly enjoyable in the chilly winter evenings. *food: the food definitely deserves special mention. Almost everything that we tasted here were nothing short of marvellous. The breakfast spread was vast and catered to every taste. Hats off to the chef! *service: the entire staff right from the restaurant to the front office were incredibly friendly, attentive, prompt and always went the extra mile to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. In essence, loved the overall experience at machan plantation resort. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable family getaway.

The resort is located in the midst of mountains and forests. It is approximately 1 hour from sakleshpur railway station. The staff at the resort are very courteous. Once you order food it takes time for the dish to be served, but as per anoop, the cook they prepare everything fresh and hence it takes time. Although the taste is really amazing. We tried chicken patiala, methi malai chicken, grilled chicken and caramel custard. The breakfast spread and quality although can be improved. The offroading suggested by dhanush was a real adventure. The landscape and pool is good. Rooms are also nice, only thing is they should be proactive in cleaning in verandah outside the room, specially since there are light insects which fall there. However overall found a good 2/3 nights stay.

Excellent location, beautiful gardens, scenic views and large neat rooms. The food was tasty with a decent spread to offer for the two days we spent here. Blessed by good weather, we had an excellent holiday with friends here. The naturists at the resort were very hospitable and friendly, offered to take us for bird watch and night walk to spot frogs, however we could only join them for an early morning hike to near by mountain. Food highlights cream of tomato, manchow soup, red rice pundi, prawn ghee roast, nee r dosa, gut-hi brinjal, pasta, pane-er achari tikka, custard, rasam, onion pakoda and many more.

The location was excellent, exactly what is needed for a person for a person seeking a respite from the noise and traffic of bangalore. The menu/spread could have been better for the amount they charge but the caramel pudding was divine! rooms, linen, bathroom were clean. Everything in order. Staff was extremely polite and went out of their way to help. The environmental expert was extremely good and really took extra trouble to take my son out for walks and make him comfortable. They have a great pool. They can provide swim wear on hire or purchase for ease of those staying. Overall an excellent place.

We stayed at machan plantation resort for 2 nights and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Firstly the staff is very helpful and courteous. We did an early morning nature walk with guide dhanush where different birds were spotted and detailed explanation of the plants etc was given. Rooms are spacious and clean. Activities like pottery, scavenger hunt, boon fire were arranged. The estate is very well maintained and a sense of belonging to nature is prevalent. Highly recommended for families, groups who wish to get a break from city life and noise.

Stay was Amazing. The Resort is Excellent. The location, the service, the ambience, the facilities are fantabulous. Really enjoyed staying here, enjoying the nature, fresh air, the plantation walk, trekking with nature. The food is also very good. Had a real great time with my family. My kids loved it.

Location is away from city. Surrounded by lush greens. Felt cold in june also. Nice food, chefs are talented. We poced the breakfast buffet. However some dishes are overpriced. Amenties like swimming pool, bonfire and indoor games. Overall great service by staff. They take good care of all needs.

Pleasant, rejuvenating and relaxing. Good property, well maintained, hospitality of the staff is commendable. Good good. Recommend mosquito mesh on windows to avoid any insect entering the room while keeping the room ventilated

It was a fantastic stay at the machan resort. Bird watching, trekking was very nice. Definitely a trip to remember. Front office nobi, ashfak were very helpful. Food was good as well.

A well maintained huge resort in mid of nature surrounded by coffee plants. The staff are very courteous and helpful. Food is okay not bad. Overall a good place to come back again.
