Madachya Banat

Madachya banat is a very nice a homely place. I visited here on 20th dec and stayed for a night with wife and our 20month old kid. It is close( ~3 km)to the ganpati temple, good if you have your vehicle and malgund beach just opposite to the property. The property is well maintained with nice play area for kids. My son enjoyed playing in the garden. However the best part here is the hospitality. The owners themselves are there on the property and would chat with you. The staff is very courteous and would make you feel like at home. We made special food request for our kid and the team went beyond expectation and prepared like we do at home. We even took the parcel for his lunch although it was not lunchtime during our check out but they helped going out of the way. The food is also very good, although we do not eat non veg the veg food that we had everything is prepared fresh as per your order. They also served us aamras in december, it is without preservative during the season they freeze the aamras and then just crush it for us out of season, it tastes the same and delicious as usual. They also have their home made ice-cream it's very tasty we tried gulkand and aam both were very good. Everything is fresh, they have their mango orchards, cow farm so everything is fresh from there. Over all everything is just perfect about this place especially if you are with kids. The owners are very nice and helpful. A place worth visiting to get a flavour of konkan.

The property is very clean and beautiful with pretty lights and coconut trees. Also it has play area with slides and swings which makes it children friendly. Ample parking space is also available. The staff is very helpful, also the food is very tasty. The owner personally looks into the kitchen and attends the guests. They customise the food according to your requirement, the must try is starters in bombil and also the amras and dudhi halva. The check is was also hassle free and fast with a boy to pick up our luggage. The room service was also fast. The rooms are also spacious and hygienic and has garden view, there are no beach view rooms but it is ok. This place is 4km from ganpatipule temple and 5 min from the beach which is clean and not very crowded and has many water sports. While making a plan, keep the temple visit at night around 7.30 pm - 8 pm as it is less crowded and before that you can visit places around or the beach near the temple. Also find information about the Devi yatra in Dec as it is very crowded at the time of the year. It does not have any medical or grocery stores around, you will have to go 2km to find one. Overall it was a great experience and we enjoyed the stay a lot. I would recommend this place to everyone to give it a try and would love to visit again.

As the name (in marathi) suggests, the resort has lots of well planned coconut trees. Rooms are clean and the resort is well maintained. The malgund sea shore is at a walkable distance. The staff is courteous and well trained. The food is excellent, both, vegetarian and non vegetarian. The location is really good. Nearby places one can visit: famous ganpati temple and 'prachin kokan' at ganapatipule. Kavi keshavsut (renowned marathi poet) at malgund. Jaigad fort. Aare-ware beach. Ratnagiri. Paw-as etc.

I recently visited and stayed in madachya banat (in march) with my family and we are really happy with our stay there. Location wise - this resort is approx 3. 5kms away from ganpatipule temple near to malgund beach. Very peaceful property and the friendly staff. Rooms were clean with basic facilities available. Food was freshly prepared, delicious, homely food and quantity was very good. Overall nice and quiet property to stay

Good Madachya Banat with nice view of coconut tree-es around. It is located in malgund village which is 4-5 km from ganpatipule. Rooms are clean. Service part can be improved. Hire a two wheeler if you are staying at this place as auto riksha drivers charge heftily for going to the main city.

Ambience is very nice .. staff and manager is very good.. food is amazing .. the only problem is network connection which can be improved .. rest everything is just fabulous.. I would recommend this to everyone.. beach is just 2 min away

Very good experience with quality food & calm atmosphere. Clean beach beside is like treasure untouched. A complete family friendly experience with a great view and great surroundings.
