Madhusudan Cottage | Rooms & Wi-Fi

Food is ok , rooms are not in good condition, staff is good , mobile network is limited in some parts and wifi doesn't reach some places

The Cottage was good,and even Room was superb.But we faces Fooding issue and also the people where too slow.

The owner was very welcoming. I found the space very safe and homely.

stay was really comfortable..food could have been little better but service was nice. Host was very cordial and welcoming. gud stay for kids with pool facility..

The location is very convenient. It is a 3 min walk to the beach. Good service and courteous staff. The food is simple, homely and not too spicy. Good place to take seniors to.

Madhusudan cottages is just 2 mins walking from the beach. They offer homely breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is not worth to book this place with breakfast as they offer only 1 or 2 options. Madhusudan cottages is not a hotel, it will give you home stay vibes. Their service is very good if you are visiting with family, old age people, infants and toddlers. If you are visiting in a friend circle or with your colleagues, then this place is not for you. You can get good options in the same price range. It is overpriced for the value it delivers on service, stay and room.

A few years back when they were ample opportunities to travel without having any kind of pre-planning, me and my wife used to hop on to those chances. On friday, if you log out early and decide that there is nothing to do on the weekend, both the bus accommodation along the way, and just carry three pairs of clothing because there was no time to plan out the activities not to look for an ideal spot, considering the budget was quite tight, there was no hyped up anticipation. Now that we can afford to travel, but can’t due to time or energy or simply because we are too lazy. Because now the travel opportunities are quite scars, we carefully select our needs and find an appropriate place for that, so you can imagine if that place does not live up to the expectations that you built up in your head in the anticipation of the most awaited trip of the year. It feels for a lack a better word bored. The madhusudan resort does not live up to the pricetag it carries. It’s as if the whole region is giving you a middle finger if you’re a vegetarian. I urge everyone to make sure that we do not neglect the needs of a vegetarian person just because they are not making you as much money as a person who would rather eat nonveg. The rooms at madhusudan cottage, a decent, clean and special enough for three people, the management is quite hospitable. The breakfast options were quite good, but the meals were not so great. The beach itself is quite nearby at walking distance of around five minutes, though much too crowded. Overall, though this trip did not fulfill what it had promised or anticipated, i am sure i will long to see the arabian sea quite soon.

Rooms were very small compare to what was shown in picture. Room rates are very expensive compare to facilities, cleanliness, area and hygiene. Food was also very expensive, breakfast was not having option only one can be chosen out of 2 that was also limited.

It’s nice property with swimming pool, small but beautiful garden and very nice food. I feel stay was costly as room was basic. Rooms needs some improvements.

Rooms and toilets were clean. But clothes were cheap quality. Food quality is good but limited veriety. Wifi is very poor. Poor stay compare to cost

The stay is decent ( clean & hygiene, its a small but cute resort. Plus point is it is 200m away from the beach the food they serve is delicious authentic food, fish & chicken are their specialty

Pictures shown were not what was actual, i felt duped paying so much for this property, customer executive told he will refund 1800 because of bad experience, still awaiting to get it in my wallet. Here it is - see the room quality so bad, and compare it with the pics you have against the listing

It was our first visit to alibaug, and we experienced wonderful stay. Rooms that were nicely maintained. Owners were very friendly and suggested a nearby place to visit. Also arranged the transportation too. Food is completely home feeling. Yummy. My family enjoyed it a lot. Property is also good, i must recommend to one should visit at madhusudan resort and cottage.

Stay was avg. , veg. Food quality was not good, whereas non veg was good. No power for more than 2 hours.

Good ambiance with pool and access to beach with 3 mins walk. Food is good like home made. Both veg and non veg available, we enjoyed well with family

Good staff and clean rooms. We were total 18people accommodated in 5rooms. The place is 900m away from the temple but had good restaurants nearby.

Staff was polite and food was good but looking at monies spent the place was quite average not as shown in photos, not worth

Most terrible hotel. Bedbugs everywhere. Wr left the hotel middle of our stay and re-booked ourselves into a better hotel

Rooms- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Food- ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ambience - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Staff- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Madhusudan Cottage is an excellent stay for a weekend unwind in Nagaon area of Alibaug. The cottage style rooms are spacious, washrooms were clean, their garden and lighting results into a very cosy stay.

It was overall nice & comfortable stay and very close to beach. We are looking forward to visit this property again.
