One of the best stays i have had. The rooms are clean and good. Well maintained premises. The best thing about maha lakshmi home stay is - it surely gives u a homely feeling created by caring staff. They are protective and conscious about female customers safety. So a solo trip and stay can be perfectly planned. Next best thing is the location - at river bay. It brings in a serene feeling. Watching brahmaputra river gets you connected with nature - sky, air, greenery - lota of tress and plants in the surrounding area. Utpal is one of the best staff members. The guest house is located in bhutnath, adjoining the lane to the icici and s bi bank. Only that a traveller will have to travel about 500-700 mts to reach the place. But once you reach it, the property is very welcoming. The homestay is neat and clean, rooms are well maintained and adequately ventilated. I was there for a couple of hours only as i had to catch my connecting train. So, i took a dorm and it was quite well-furnished. Only flaw was the common bathroom where the shower and bathing tap didn't work properly, although cleanliness was not an issue. Overall, i would rate my stay here as pleasant and livening. I will also recommend budget travellers to visit this homestay.

The location of maha laxmi home stay is fabulous, just beside of brahmaputra river and another view of mountain (nilachal hill in which mama kamakhya devalaya is located. I booked a riverside room and the view was very beautiful. The staffs are very helpful and polite, in addition we tried some food from their kitchen (panner masala, egg curry and dal with rice) and all of the foods are recommended. Just beside of the home stay chakreshwar temple is situated. I booked my room from makemytrip and i got a great deal. And from my experience maha laxmi home stay is fully recommended. Thanks.

I had a pleasant stay at mahalaxmi homestay guwahati, a budget-friendly and well-located property in kalipur. The service staff was very attentive and prompt, and the chef cooked some of the most delicious food i ever tasted. The owner was also very helpful and arranged a taxi service for me. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the river and the city. The homestay is close to the kamakhya mata mandir and the kamakhya junction. I would definitely recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a cozy and affordable place to stay in guwahati.

Well mannered staffs, fully professional. Around 500 meters from highway. But no chai sutta shops, Maha Laxmi Home Stay | Brahmaputra River Views are available nearby. Rooms were neat and clean. Bathrooms were specially very well maintained, hot water facilities available. Food prices are comparatively better than any other nearby Maha Laxmi Home Stay | Brahmaputra River Views. Overall, without any doubt a decent stay at this price. Recommended!

The staffs were not trouble some. The food that i ordered was delivered very late but it's fine, the stay was very comfortable, quiet and full privacy was given. And no one disturbed during my whole stay. The owner was very helpful, i had an issue with the date and the payment was non refundable, the owner reconsidered my date to a new date without extra pay. Thats very generous of him. And yah that's all i had to say.

It's been a great experience staying at mahalaxmi homestay with my family that include my 1 and half year old boy. Stay was comfortable with amenities as expected. Food was very homely which did satisfy our taste buds. A special thanks to all the staffs for their care and affection towards guests. My wife has been very satisfied and would love to again stay there if we visit guwahati in near future.

Rooms are clean and spacious. We had a good stay and felt like a home because of the environment and the staffs. Have to appreciate the cook for preparing such a delicious food. It was simple, healthy and really delicious.

Writing this review because i have enjoyed staying here sm. The rooms were clean and beautiful with sufficient amount of accommodations. The stuffs were super nice and hardworking. The food was great as well. Overall a lovely experience staying here. Such a beautiful experience in such cheap price.

Everything was good. Stuff are very young and disturbing now and then by banging door. Even after informing were tired of previous day travel-ling and want to sleep.
