Mahaseer Fishing Camps

This resort/camp is quite a way in from the main Ramnagar road, but that is exactly what we wanted. There are many resorts on the way but what makes this place unique is the fact that the river is flowing right outside your cottage door :) and the water was very clean and cool too, although we visited during monsoons. There are 2 types of accommodation, eco-huts and camps. We were in a hut, the furnishings are simple and tasteful, very clean and earthy in the decor. All huts have AC and geysers, but no TV or WiFi (I heard they are going to add these facilities by Oct 2016). The owners of the place were not there during our trip, we spoke to them on the phone, they are helpful and accommodating. The staff at the resort is very helpful, friendly, and respectful. They can arrange a Safari for you from the resort or take you on private night safari (charges are extra for this). Food was good, especially dinner (we tried veg thali) and not too expensive. Booking via makemytrip was a great idea, we got a good discount on room tariff as well. Overall it was an awesome trip, we enjoyed the beautiful natural surroundings, playing in the river, and an absolutely clear sky full of stars at night. They also had a couple of rabbits, and a small tree machan and duck pond to keep kids entertained. There's no boundary wall or fence, the camp is protected by natural hill barriers on both sides, so you can easily just take a trek into the jungle if you like. Its very open, picturesque, peaceful and rejuvenating. We missed it when we left and plan to visit again soon with the whole family.

We stayed there for two nights. I love the location best part is its just beside river front. Nice and peaceful environment. I will recommend this resort it has lots of space you can walk freely throughout the resort and spend memorable time there. Only feedback for resort is regarding the food that they serves they have to work on this front food is not at all good. Due to this we have taken most of our meal outside the resort. The resort owner is nice guy and very helpful indeed.

The place is very good. Nice touch of village type view. It's a very peaceful place. If you are pissed off your daily life this place is one of the place where you can get peace of mind. Perfect combination of nature and you. it's having river flow attached by. where you can sit with your loved one and spend quality time under the sky. The staff was also good. Thanks to Mr. Pradeep Ji who had been ready as helping hand and ready to serve. Very gentle person. Would like to visit again and suggest others also to visit this place.

A real nice location with the best host. You will find your peace of mind with the stay. I love the place and the river flowing besides huts. Owner of the place lives there and is very helpful and supportive for any special demand such as special food for baby or extended time for breakfast/lunch/dinner which compensates other issues such as shortage of staff or delay in snacks. Overall I will recommend this place if you just want to relax during your vacation.

The stay was very nice. The property was a little bit hard to find but it was a wonderful property in all aspects whether it was of cleanliness, security or facilities. Relaxing and comfortable rooms. The caretaker was very good and helpful. The food was delicious. It was a total value for money stay.

It was good the surroundings are good and scenic... The rooms are big and comfortable. The staff is quite helpful and service was far better than the contemporaries we enjoyed our stay at the Mahaseer Fishing Camps and the nearby areas.

This is my third visit, seen improvement in every visit, awesome place to stay, peaceful, beautiful location, great food and services, owners were gem of person and very supportive, would love to visit and strongly recommend

Remote location average stay cottage and huts. Old build no tv and wifi available at cottage and huts. The food was ok. The washrooms were ok. Parking space available.

The location of the property was amazing, easy to reach. The caretaker was good and polite. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed my stay at the property.

Quick review 1. Tent and rooms are not luxuries at all, there is no phone and TV, no shaver. 2. Area and atmosphere are good. 3. Apart from high management staff if kind of old and work like government job. That's all.

Great place for groups as well as family. Friendly nature of staff specially Pradeep.

Rooms were average but location was right in the jungle besides the river. Food was a disappointment but the owner gave excellent service by taking us out for a brief ride in his Suv car late in night and to an isolated point high up in the mountains.
