Mall Palace

the Mall Palace is located near jhulaghar ropeway at the centre of the mall road which extends between library chowk at one end and the picture palace at the other. either end is roughly about one kilometre from the Mall Palace. there is traffic restriction on the mall road. only private cars and local commercial vehicles are allowed with a charge of ₹200(?). so if you come by a hired outstation vehicle you have to get down at either of the two ends. from library chowk cycle rickshaws are available (₹100) as the road is levelled,but from picture palace one has to negotiate lots of steep ups and downs and walking is the only available alternative. porters are available for your luggage though(₹150). if you come from picture palace side, walk along the mall road up to Mall Palace kalsang and then take the diversion at the right which takes you to the Mall Palace. one has to climb about 50 staircase steps to reach the reception. approach to the Mall Palace is not very easy, but this is true for all the Mall Palaces located in the area. however the advantages of walking around on both the sides, excellent view of the doon valley from the Mall Palace rooms, close proximity to the cable car and the walkable road to gunhill(~1km) outweighs the approach issue in my opinion. now, coming to the Mall Palace proper, i would say it's extraordinary. it's a five storied building. we stayed at the top floor room which comes with a private balcony which offers a stunning view of the glittering doon valley in the night. (a word of caution regarding the monkey menace: keep the balcony door closed).the dining room is also located on the top floor and is nicely decorated. also, there's an open terrace where one can sit back and relax watching the beautiful sight of the hills and valleys. all the facilities in our room were available as per their offer and working. wifi was weak but we were offered a reasonably good dongle. hot water was adequately available both in the basin and the shower. bed linens and towels were clean. however, some of the 💡 lamps were blinking 😉. also the Mall Palace management would do well to fix a lamp over the bathroom mirror for ease of shaving. service: must say it was excellent in terms of promptness and quality. overall, we had a very pleasant stay of four nights.

I along with my family (4adults 1 child) stayed at Mall Palace mall palace from 12. 6. 23 to 14. 6. 23. The day we arrived, my 19yrs old son became unconscious and had black out when we were out near the Mall Palace. I couldn't get any taxi for going to hospital which was far of from this place. I had to call the Mall Palace reception for help. Mr. U. V. Rana from Mall Palace reception immediately came with his bike for help. He took us to hospital and stayed with us all the time guiding us and helping us. He brought us back to Mall Palace. He was like god's help as i didn't know anyone in mussoorie. I am extremely grateful to mr. Rana and Mall Palace mall palace for the help. The Mall Palace location is awesome. Very good view from the Mall Palace windows and terrace. The food quality is very good, staff is polite. The rooms are comfortable. Overall our stay at Mall Palace mall palace was very comfortable and would like to stay again during our next visit. Keep up the good work.

Pros: the Mall Palace location was best as it was just in front of the trolley ride for gun hill on the main mall road accessible by private vehicle. The staff's behaviour was very polite. The view of dehradun city was amazing especially at night. In house restaurant with quick service and we'll maintained Mall Palace premises. 24hrs hot water and good washrooms with basic amenities. Cons: every time you bring your vehicle on mall road, govt. Charges you 100rs. Room cleanliness was average and room appliances were smelly. There were empty beer bottles probably from the last customers in the almirah which shows that rooms are not cleaned properly after each stay. The in house restaurant is costly, with meals for two costing at least 500rs. Too many stairs to reach the Mall Palace, people with knee issues must avoid this Mall Palace.

Hotel is situated near jhulaghar on mall road. We had a pleasant stay at the Mall Palace. Hotel provides nice view of the valley. Staff is helping. Price of the rooms are on a higher side wrt facilities provided. For reaching Mall Palace take a rickshaw from library chowk. Call the reception to send some person for luggage since one have to climb 30-40 stairs. Rented 2 wheelers are not allowed on mall road, so if possible try to book a Mall Palace outside the mall road if u want to rent a two wheeler during your stay at mussoorie. Overall i had a calm stay at mall palace

I booked my room at Mall Palace mall palace mussoorie through make my trip for staying 2 days from 6th november to 7th november 2023. It's a great experience for staying at Mall Palace mall palace mussoorie with my family. We have booked room with executive terrace facility and enjoy our leisure time. Location of the Mall Palace is very beautiful, getting panaromic scenic beauty of mussoorie, the queen of hill. I want to come again at mussoorie and stay at Mall Palace mall palace again. Thank you make my trip to fulfill my family trip.

It was a lovely stay. Liked everything about the property. Location is excellent just opposite the gondola car on mall road. Spacious parking space is available. Rooms are big, clean and filled with major requirements. The room had an excellent view with a. Spacious and wonderful balcony. Bathroom was also decent size with all major amenities. Bed was super comfort and so was the extra bed provided. Food was decently priced and quality was also top notch. Overall i will recommend everyone to try this property.

Location is very good. As the property is located in a elevated area offers great view of large part of mussoorie. Opposite to Gunpoint rope way, infact trolley carrying people crosses close to balcony of Mall Palace rooms. Staff are very courteous, room service is very prompt Taking balcony room reservation is preferable . Need to climb about 20 steps to reach reception/lift area. Old people need to factor this point. Overall I would rate mall palace stay as very good

It was a four day trip to cater the popular sites of mussorie. Hotel having balcony facing and good view. Room service and food quality good, though do not have restaurant. Also have huge options to take food outside as the location is very good, near to ropeway towards gunhill. To reach before 4pm because between 4 to 10pm roads are closed to make walk free zone. Hotel is clean and having lift facility. Rooms seems a small for family but overall it was good stay

We had a pleasant stay, and our room had a very good view of the mountains and the valley. The location of the property is very good, it is opposite the ropeway. Amenities -good availability.

Hotel was good staff was supportive but in parking my door was hit by anyone badly and they didn't even tell that it was happen in our car, we give the key to them and they park it and when we check out i see the dent in my vehicle, so it will be good if they take care of vehicles easily and something happens they should tell us

Room was very nice and clean. Safe atmosphere. And yes last but not the least beautiful view outside from the room.

Location is good. It’s heart of mall road. The staffs are cooperative. The food in the Mall Palace is reasonable and services are too prompt. Stayed with family for two days during vacation and had a comfortable stay.

We arrived in early october. The weather was as pleasant as this Mall Palace. The rooms are well maintained. The bathroom is well decorated with a separate bathing place. 24*7 hot water. The staff is helpful and courteous. Very good view from the room. The terrace has bonfire options. Haven't tried food here as good food joints are available in 5 minutes walk.

The staff was polite and friendly. Overall experience was very delightful. Rooms were neat and clean also, it is located on a very convenient location with breathtaking window view.

Hotel location is in the middle of mall road, so you can roam around any time tou want, balcony view is just incredible. Room service and staffs are also nice.

The entrance was dusty and should not have staff sitting around. Outside furniture should be upgraded. There were monkeys around. The sitting place outside on 5th floor needs to have a net covering.
