Manas Resort with Petting Zoo

Very nice place for kids and family, nice staff & wheel chair friendly. Other guests in the Manas Resort with Petting Zoo were also mostly with families. Very well maintained property. We were in 502, and the view from the room is majestic. The views included trains passing through hills, we got lucky and recorded a vande bharat train causing through the hills. As the name suggests it's a petting zoo, has good set of pet animals, parrots, macaus, different breed of dogs, miniature horse, cows, hens of different breeds, rabbits, etc. If you have a small kid with you, he will definitely enjoy. There's also a drawback of the property, there's no room service, hence you have to compulsorily book all meals and have it through buffet. They would not serve anything in the room and you would have to walk till the restaurant to collect it. Nevertheless, its a good exercise as the property is huge and the restaurant is right at the entrance. Rooms are clean, gardens well maintained, it has a unique swimming pool, with the kids pool one level down that the actual pool, and there's a artificial waterfall from the upper swimming to the lower one. That i think is the main attraction. Property is worth a visit, but one night is good enough unless you're a big group and likes talking to each other in serene silence. Further- there's one more property named as manas lifestyle resort, right next to it, if you're coming from mumbai, that property will arrive first, hence do not get confused with the similar name. The owner of this resort is clever enough to put "original manas resort" in the sign board.

Firstly, i would like to take a moment to appreciate the property. It is located amid-st the mountains and the infinity pool is wonderful. The property surroundings like the sit out areas, pool area, activities area, though small but is well planned and perfect for a getaway from the city. The best part of the visit was meeting the pets - different breed of dogs and birds. If you have a pet, you can get them here and the place is pet friendly. The kids would love this place du ethe variety it offers and keeps them engaged longer. However few things disappointing were the cost, only premium villas would be suitable if you have senior citizens travel-ling with you, rest of the rooms are located down the hill, almost 50 stairs to reach and practically not possible for old age. The food served was fresh, decent in taste but the price was too high. A pasta dish would cost you 750, biryani around 600 found it overpriced. Ordered chocos with milk for my kids for snacks and was charged rs. 500. Also, the resort was booked for the weekend for a wedding, so a day prior the resort was full of labourers getting the property ready, with no privacy for guest. The labours carried their work throughout the day, right in front of the pool, making it quite uncomfortable for me. Plus they had all the materials lying down on the floor making it difficult for kids to play. Overall, it is good property but no t worth the price. The pets, especially the dogs are the highlight.

Overall stay experience is excellent. Entire family has enjoyed the stay for 2 nights and days. It is referred by neighbor and friends. Booking done thru make my trip. Resort in main highway itself and it is very easy to locate. Check in process is so smooth, parked the vehicle in front itself. Rooms are very neat and clean. All the time in a room, they are providing good fragrance to make mood is good. Drinking water is provided in copper jar. All the staffs are very nice and they are attending all the requirements. Kids are enjoying with the pets in 4 hours of a day (morning 2 hrs and evening 2 hrs. As a adult, we have also enjoyed with dogs and time is flying and we have forgot everything. I have spent around 1 hour in water fall which is in the kids swimming pool and it is very nice experience. We have booked the room with breakfast option. However, we have taken dinner and snacks in their restaurant (name - woodpecker. All the items of the food is very taste, though the pricing is little costly. Overall we have satisfied and enjoyed the weekend. We will visit again when get time. Thanks to manas resort and make-my trip for such wonderful experience,

It was our anniversary on 26th dc and we chose manas resort petting zoo to celebrate it. It was a wonderful experience once we reached there, the property, room, zoo, staff service and food. Everything was top notch. What we wish to highlight is there stringent policy and no empathy for customer problems. We had booked the stay on 25th november and 26th nova we had a family emergency due to which we had requested for cancellation and refund as we required the money for emergency. First of all we were not given clear communication whether there are chances of refund or not. And only in the last week they mentioned that there is no possibility of refund, you may only take an extension. See, we understand that Manas Resort with Petting Zoos have their policy but there has to be some room for emergencies. We had paid 16k for one night which was not an amount to let go easily. Its my sincere request that you have some amends in your policies regarding your refund and cancellations.

Really beautiful location and views. Infinity pool was amazing. Playing music on those speakers by the pool and just feeling like a pool party with the awesome mountain fog view was fun. The downstairs pool has a waterfall as well when they switch it on. Most of the time you will want to out of the room with the dogs and birds, so don't bother about room selection. I preferred the bed mattress of the superior room. It was thicker and more comfortable. The food was fresh and delicious. This place is very kid-friendly as well. Great experience for one night stays, didn't need to leave the resort. The bar serves some nice fresh juice as well. Sugarcane juice was amazing. The petting zoo experience is one of a kind, the birds and dogs are very well trained. This place is for nature lovers not luxury lovers, keep that in mind.

The resort is well maintained and a very nice place to stay. We had booked a valley view room. It has a good view, however following things we dislike. 1. The window can be opened only 30% as the mosquito net is placed along with one window pane in the same track. 2. The toilet amenities are nowhere to a four star. The shower has no pressure and you have to take bath standing below a small head shower waiting for water to drop on you. At least keep a bucket. 3. Jet spray also has weak pressure. Had difficulty in using it. 4. Checkout tile is 10 am but they start calling to vacate from 9. 45 am. Not giving even 15 mins grace time. Food is good and the housekeeping staff is very nice and cooperative. Had a good time with birds and animals. All those taking care of them were very polite and professional.

Rooms - superior rooms with no view were good. But too inside walking from parking. Rooms were very clean. Hot water was available. Service - was prompt. My pet was not well. They immediately gave number which was helpful. Food- breakfast more options required as it’s not worth what we pay. Lunch dinner what we ordered was overpriced but tasty. When we went thr was marriage in resort so it was too o nosiest as guest were coming at night 1. 30, 3 at night so it was very disturbing. Swimming pool area is very quiet. Valley view is worth chilling n listening music. Out from city chaos. Spa too expensive. Kids will love bird view, rabbits, dogs. U can take pics wit birds n best is they don’t charge. But you can give something if u feel like to bird trainer. Property is clean n well maintained.

The stay and the services are overpriced (almost doubled. Pros- though the property is well maintained with a good view of the valley. The best part was the infinity pool and the instrumental live music at the dinner. It was a different experience to see birds and other animals from so close. The food was amazing with the amiable staff. Special appreciation to ajay dhondkar- provided great hospitality at the food section. Cons- overpriced. Seatings are provided in the balcony section of the room but such view and relaxation cant be enjoyed without room services.

Nature is calling us to understand the value for greenery- superb experience as you feel blessed to be accompanied by nature

Beautiful location and good food

Stay was good, resort is clean, room was not so much. Had cockroaches in the fridge in the room and one- two crawling around. Good from the restaurant was good as well but i thought it was expensive. The dogs was what made our trip. Enjoyed spending time with them.

With & for my kid it was excellent experience of common areas, pets, food, location and ambiance. But little bit regrat of superior rooms where we stayed as rooms lication are not good. Sandeep

The location is right at the highway and therefore very convenient. The property is large and decent. Has a variety of pets for the little ones to stay entertained. Rooms i felt were overpriced. . The stay was comfortable however there is a lot of walking involved to reach some villas.

So unique concept of you getting to touch, feed birds and play with pet it's must visit place with kids. Superbly managed and hygienic place. Food too is yummy and there are 2 types restaurant one pure veg and other one where you all sort of food. The view from the Manas Resort with Petting Zoo is thrilling its totally mountain view. The place is very good. Especially kids who love pets. Hotel rooms are clean and well maintained. The food and play area is also excellent.

I recently stayed at manas resort, and overall, the experience was positive. The accommodation was comfortable, but i advise against booking a superior room on lower levels as they lack a view. Additionally, be prepared for pricey drinks, which might affect your overall expenses during the stay. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall ambiance and quality of the stay were commendable.

If you want to enjoy with your family in igatpuri without taking the pains of going out and exploring then this is the place for you. All the amenities inside will keep you occupied and content and you will not have to go out for anything. The ambience is perfect and the swimming pool is icing on the cake.
