Marem Resort is in the middle of the jungle, there are two roads, prefer the road from the main road, the one which is in Google maps is bit risky. The stay and the rooms are way to spacious, the bathtub is actually placed under the stars. The food for vegetarians are less, but they prepare everything fresh, there will be no North Indian flavours. Morning go for waterfall trecking and evening live cooking show full tribal style. In short a good get away for 2-3 days, and if you are lucky you will meet robin. She is a wonderful lady.

The stay was with my friends and family, so we were around eight people who went for his particular trip. This stay was good. The drawback is that it's comparatively a smaller property that is in terms to walk around and explore areas. I would say it's a slightly over priced.

It was a nice stay with luxurious amenities. The view from the balcony was nice. The trekking they provided was also good. Breakfast after the trekking is also nice with different spreads. Also the experience with the kumbamkachi (tribal food) live preparation by their staff Chellappan chettan was also very nice.

Pleasant stay in a beautiful cottage

The cottage and surroundings were excellent. Room had all the equipments and the bathroom was clean and good looking. The garden outside is beautiful with lots of flowers and exotic plants. Staff were cordial and always ready to help. Loved the trekking activity in the morning which took us to a waterfall through a forest like path. On the flipside, the food didn't match the expensive price. Either improve the food quality or reducing the price will improve the customer satisfaction

Excellent property, beautiful location, rooms are big, staff is very warm, we also met the owner Ms Robin, she is also a very warm and hospitable lady, she accompanied us for a trek. They also have a forest man named Chillapam, who can take you for treks inside the forest. Very sweet and helpful chap. Shout out to the staff - Arun, Jobit, Akhil, Anand, Jibin & Tony. Each one is giving their bit to make your experience better.

Stay was good, the location is wonderful and the resort was beautiful and staffs were friendly. But they need to focus on their food. The taste was not up to the mark, most of the food were very tasty and not exactly presented like what they had described in their menu. Also the restaurant staff can be a bit more friendly. Would not hurt them to include little more activities as it is a remote area. Amenities can be improved. Heated pool would be nice.

The villa-like room may not be worth the amount we paid, especially after traveling on a bad road to get here. In fact, the maximum value for this room should only be around 3000, so booking it for 10, 000 was not a good use of our money.
