Pl don’t recommend the place for family or for only ladies it’s not safe. Not clean, no proper maintenance, no security

A great place to spend time with your friends and family. Stay is very near to beach. The host has made all effort to make the stay comfortable. Food arranged was really good.

This property is a new 2 bedroom house with attached bath and a living room. It's right on the beach. Parking is available for 1 car. The beach is not used by the public, so it's kind of clean. We could see so many crabs and other tiny animals on the beach, makes us feel closer to nature. There is no food of any kind, but swiggy and zomato delivers (although with limited options. The caretaker can arrange for breakfast from a local place if needed. The staff speak only malayalam and a very little english, so patience is needed to communicate. This place is located bang in the middle of a village where there are only not so well off individual fishermen. They are out in the sea right from 4 a. M. Looking for fish and by 9 a. M. They are all done. We can catch a glimpse of their skills, boats and unloading the fish. I really wish we knew about this fact, we could have gotten much more in touch with the activity, we went at 8:30 a. M. And most of the good stuff was over. One more thing is, if i knew about it, we could have arranged for a fresh fish based lunch or dinner at one of the fishermens home (they are all very very friendly. I guess the property description could have been better. Getting there, the roads are fine from kochi or allepey, but the last 0. 5 kms is kind of a 10 ft road. There was no geyser/hot water, but we didn't need it (peak summer. It's definitely not a villa, but a house built for traveling families. Beds are good, but sheets and pillows are very very basic. No toiletries. Bath fittings are all very basic. A/c and fridge are available. No problem with water. Wifi is also available. A very little sand here and there in the room and bathroom were there even after cleaning multiple times, but so was it in the nearby resorts which was 5 times more expensive. It took me a while to settle down and come to terms with this place. But the next day after seeing the whole surroundings, i really wished i could have stayed for another day. For the price we payed, it was definitely worth it. There are a few resorts around here which are 5 times the price for rooms and the food. If you are looking for a clean local beach with local people and can adjust to a few things, this place is totally worth it.

Wonderful accommodation for couples/family. Felt like home. You name it and they have it. Excellent stay.
