Marari Village Beach Resort by EGH

The veranda, dining room and yard are always in a state of disrepair. The sand from the beach is everywhere. Continuous cleaning is required to fix this. Very low quality food. That too at a loot price. It's four times the price of an outside Marari Village Beach Resort by EGH. The only spicy chilli powder in the fish masala we ordered. That too in uncooked taste. Complementary breakfast fast very low. South indian, north indian and continental one each. It is profitable only if it is less than three thousand rupees. The surroundings, the beach in front and the views of the fishermen are really beautiful.

A small lovely property of 10 spacious and clean rooms and bathrooms overlooking the Arabian Sea. A clean and inviting pool to play and a lovely seaside garden to relax in the sea breeze and enjoy the sunset every day of our stay. Courteous staff can help you with anything and the food is great. The breakfast is limited but they can give you anything you ask. The garden is lit up every evening with some melodious songs to enjoy your dinner in the garden tables. Overall it is worth your money and a quiet getaway for some great rejuvenation.

Well, it was a nice Marari Village Beach Resort by EGH (small though and that's why liked it). Rooms were good and so was the washroom. Big spacious. Services I would say was slow and could have improved a lot. Food took lot time to get delivered. Plus options were not too many. Well water is charged here and there is no normal drinking water supplied. You get complimentary water and if consumed more during dining you need to pay for it. Beach is 50 meters and the staff takes good care of you by servicing at the beach.

The place is in the Marari fishermen village. The sand is very clear and dirt free (minimal compared to other beach). The Marari Village Beach Resort by EGH hospitality is very nice and very nice food. If you want to relax and enjoy in a quiet place, this is the one with your family. A lovely swimming pool enhances the experience. One can go from here to any part of Alleppey for boat rides. Personally I recommend to stay here and take a day trip on boat.

We had a pleasant stay, wonderful experience, beach right in front of our room. Breakfast was good but limited staff, this property is only 8 months old and had a lot of teething problems. Staff was limited thus affecting its service and effectiveness, no doubt staff was helpful and cooperative. Food quality was good. Small property with only ten rooms as of now. Location of the property is very good, peaceful surroundings.

We visited Marari Village Beach Resort 2 days after Xmas. The location was great in front of the beach which is not very crowded. The good thing is since it was not crowded the resort staff served snacks in the beach. The swimming pool was also clean and well maintained. The main disadvantage is that it did not have restaurants or shops nearby and we were forced to buy food there which was average and a bit expensive.

It was a surprise trip to my wife for her birthday and the resort was booked through make my trip app. A beautiful and well maintained resort with swimming pool, spa and tasty foods prepared by their own kitchen. Opposite to the resort is a good beach which is just 2 mts walk distance. Rooms and washrooms are spacious and well maintained. Overall an excellent resort and is worth for your hard earned money

It's a brand new property, walk-able distance to the beach. Clean beach will surely liked by kids and beach lovers. Tea and snacks provided at the beach by the Marari Village Beach Resort by EGH is amazing experience. Overall good for a short stay. One big drawback is the highly priced food menu which spoiled the overall enthusiasm. Other wise good for a family outing.

Value for money paid should be justified in the facilities and services provided. The best part of the stay was the Beach view. Room cleanliness can be improved. Not good to combine two double beds to make a queen bed. Invest some money on fixing the door locks. Service guys were courteous especially Renjith.

Resort has beautiful garden and nice swimming pool, rooms are spacious and clean. Food was decent, i had fish and shrimps both were really good but bit spicy. Resort has private space for sunset view near to sea. I will really prefer to stay again there if i visit alappey again. It is kids friendly and staff is really helpful.

It's has above avg rooms with sea view. The highlight of this property it is small lawn area for leisure activities and a park adjacent to the sea with area to walk.

Great ambiance, right aside the Beach, far from the madding crowd. Excellent hospitality and very clean and neat surroundings.

Amazing view. No other resort can promise you this view. The staff extremely warm and keep you comfortable. The ambience is perfect for a family. Snacks and food are to die for. Fish was the freshest that one can find. Please visit for this stay on the cleanest possible beach in India.

Pros: It is next to the beach, which is almost like their private property! Average swimming pool. Good rooms. Food is average, quite economical. Staff are good, prompt service. Cons: The property as such is very small. Food menu is very limited.
