Marquis Beach Resort

Travel type: family with kids. Location: 10/10 (next to clean candolim beach. Many shacks and good restraunts like yozo, palms & sand, droplet around) swimming pool: 10/10 (very good swimming pool with children pools as well) staff: 10/10 (helpful and fast) food: 11/10 (excellent quality food at marquis own restraunt. There was always less crowd in the Marquis Beach Resort restraunt due to availability of beach side restraunts in and around Marquis Beach Resort. But the food quality at marquis own rstrnt was very good. Mutton rogan josh, mutton/chkn xacuti are highly recommended) breakfast: 7/10 (was ok/normal) cabs: 10/10 (there is a taxi stand just outside the Marquis Beach Resort) market: 10/10 (market is very near, hardly 5-8 mins walk. This road from candolim to baga beach is very good for local shopping, alcohol shops, many more restraunts) overall the stay was very pleasant at marquis. Room advise: while booking try to book the pool or sea facing rooms then u enjoy more. If u book delux room which does not have pool/sea facing. Then u get balcony which opens to taxi stand. U would not enjoy sitting in the balcony then.

My 4.5 year old son Jason and I went for 4 days to Goa to celebrate Mothers Day…we stayed at Marquis Beach Resort…the staff are friendly and very helpful…the swimming pool is really beautiful and my son Jason enjoyed swimming everyday in the pool…the Indian breakfast dishes were delicious too…the Marquis Beach Resort is located on the beautiful Candolim Beach so we had private access to the beach and enjoyed watching the pretty sunsets…we had a fantastic time at the Marquis Beach Resort…the room was lovely… balcony was really nice and sunny so it helped us to dry our wet clothes fast…the hot water hand shower helped us to relax when we were tired…the room service and housekeeping staff were Amazing and helped us with everything…this resort is great but I still I wish they had a kids room for toddlers and a games room with table tennis, carrom etc and I also wish the balconies were ocean facing rooms rather than parking facing rooms which we did not like since lack of privacy…

Was looking for a good beach resort in candolim as prev i had stayed at a Marquis Beach Resort and had to to travel everytume i wanted to go to beach and again travel back for change of clothes and found it wasteful in that aspect marquis is a very good option as the beach is 100 ft from d resort and also less crowded. Hav three restaurants ootion on beachfront itself all next to each other so that was a great bonus(calamari the best of the three) and around 500 mtrs is sinquera beach with water sport activities so literally I didnt have to travel out of my resort area all and thats exactly wat i wanted. Also they have a very good swimming pool but breakfast is average. Take poolside rooms. Seaside and other rooms not great.

The stay here was good felt the rooms need a bit of an upgrade. The staff was great and very helpful. Loved the ambience and overall stay was pleasant. Yazu was amazing and great to spend time time every evening with such nice beach views and drinks. My stay was overall great. First time here and loved the hospitality. Will definitely coming back to stay again with family and to enjoy the Marquis Beach Resort again. The staff at the pool was very friendly and very helpful throughout the stay. The staff was very helpful when needed and attended to us very happily.

Resort staff is veryThe staff there was very friendly with a welcoming smile. USP is the location. it's superb. They have open bar and restaurant at their beach side, 'YAZU' which is amazing with a beautiful seating and sun sun beds. The staff was very friendly with a welcoming smile. Special mention to the manager at the restaurant. this guy was really efficient in his work. He was looking after each and every guest with a great zeal. Only issue was that our rooms have no view from the balcony. Rest everything was superb.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at marquis beach resort. The resort is just next to the beach. The resort is kept very clean (my top priority, good spread of breakfast. The food at yazu restaurant was very exotic and good. The staffs were very cordial. The only flaws was the few rooms facing the roads(better avoid those rooms, however the other rooms were very good. Over all a pleasant stay and we would highly recommend this resort and it’s in the list for our next visit.

Excellent resort, with spacious parking and lobby, great location right on candolim beachfront, beautiful pool with areas for small kids, great restaurant with a scrumptious breakfast spread, nice rooms ( 1st floor pool facing are better) with a gym and spa, if you wish to indulge. Beachfront dining at the yazu pan asian club was awesome and you can stroll on the beach and try out the shacks like the fish hut and the coast cafe. All in all, a delightful vacation.

I stayed there for 4 days along with my family members. I celebrated my 25 th marriage anniversary there. Behaviour of ossie fernadez, the food & beverage manager is excellent. His presence and never failing attention towards guest make us feel that we have chosen the right place celebrate the anniversary in addition to heaven-like ambience of marquis beach resort in candolim. Mr. Fernandez ' s dedication to his duties makes this place a heaven in goa.

The location is bang on. In the centre of the city and the beach is rightbin front of the Marquis Beach Resort. The pool is super clean. Housekeeping is good. The indinimg restaurant needs improvement.

Location and amenities offered are really good. Housekeeping staff was very helpful and service was quick. Property is well maintained.

Beautiful resort with all the luxury and comfort. Food at the restaurant was delicious and staff was super supportive and helpful. The best part is the accessible beach which is well maintained along with a beach side restaurant. I will definitely recommend everyone looking for a luxurious & relaxing stay.

Complete stay was awesome with excellent food quality with proper safety and hygiene standards. The best part is they are offering baby food as complimentary.

Staff of the Marquis Beach Resort was unforgettable. It is memorable trip. Cleanliness of rooms and swimming pool is good. Service given by manager of restaurant was very nice behavior of manager hospitality was great
