MARUTHAM VILLAGE RESORT

It was a wonderful experience staying in marutham village resort located near to mahabalipuram. There was lot of activities they conducted which looks like exact village. Who even living in the city life can enjoy the village life and it's nature nature if we stay in marutham village resort. The below activities are available in the resort 1. Feeding for cow. 2. Foods in thallu vandi like village style. 3. Swimming pool. 4. Play area where we can play cricket, shuttle, valley ball, hide and seek. 5. Kids play area. 6. And handcraft making with coconut tree leaf, pot making with our hand and the person who teach us these things are very polite. 7. Olden days games like pallanguzhi, stones, carrom, chess, pambaram also available. 8. Morning walk in vayal for an hour which gives us a good air and it was very beautiful to see the green grass the feel which we have whole walking it shows how the farmers are working in it. It was fabulous. Check in 2pm and check out 12pm next day. 1. Noon once we check in if we need to have our lunch it is provided in the resort. 2. After check in we can go and see the places and enjoy the nature. 3. Evening snacks are provided in thallu vandi we can go and have it. 4. Night dinner also available. But we have to pay for lunch, dinner and evening snacks there is no complementary. 5. Next day morning breakfast is complementary. When it comes to the quality of food it was really awesome. During the weekend in resort they arranging for mayil aatam, karahatam, thambatam tharai. Which makes us to dance even if we listen to the music our legs will dance automatically the persons who is dancing was just wow feel. This century kids who have not seen the village and who don't like to go village will surely like the village after they visit this resort. Room service care taker every body is polite.

Marutham village enjoys the advantage of exclusive village atmosphere. The entire village is designed in such a manner that the fertile village environ is ensured. The gosala with good number of cows maintained well. There were three options for taking bath. One in pumpset two in pool three in falls which is really fantastic. Long walk in the paddy field leading to massive lake nearby was really to be experienced for its happy moments. The food served was vey much delicious and served with personal care and affection. Coffee was tasty with pure cowmilk. Native fragrance. We enjoyed the bath near the pumpset. The village folk dance is commendable adding charm to village locale. The room we stayed was also very comfortable clean well maintained and comfortable. Last but not the least our entire happy experience as above has happened due to excellent affectionate service attention by the attentive and ever obliging staff team at the village. Kudos to all. And i am planning to visit withmy other family members with children next year. Thank you marutham.

I am overwhelmed to share my first-ever review. My stay here compelled me to write my 1st review. It was a truly unforgettable stay. Every aspect exceeded my expectations. I can't think of a single thing that left me unsatisfied. From the warm welcome by the security at the entrance to the friendly receptionist and helpful luggage boy, and the friendly staff in the restaurant, everyone made me feel welcomed and cherished. The food was very delicious and satisfying. What truly sets this place apart is its charming village theme, which adds an extra layer of enjoyment to every corner of the resort. The events organized were fantastic, and the morning cow milking, walk in the farmlands were highlights & even theppakulam-based swimming pool and a waterfall. One thing very unique is the cleanliness. I must commend the entire team for their exceptional hospitality. This place offers an incredible experience for people from chennai seeking a brief getaway immersed in nature. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so memorable

What a lovely experience me and family had at marutham village resorts. Very authentic experience in a village like surroundings with a little bit for everyone. So many activities which were thoroughly enjoyable. Listing below shooting and archery pumpset bathing in the middle of the fields pottery experience bullock cart ride feeding farm animals and even milked a cow ! mindblowing cultural performance ! the premises are so well maintained, the food is simply brilliant as well, we stayed for 3 days and the consistency in deliciousness, the authentic dishes and just really good taste. More than all this, it's the people who took care of us that was out of the world, the genuine smiles, from the heart interactions with all the good people here won our hearts. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the marutham and i couldn't be more satisfied with my experience. From the moment i arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The lobby was beautifully decorated and set the tone for a relaxing stay. My room was immaculate and well-appointed with modern amenities. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing me with some of the best sleep additionally, the on-site restaurant served delicious meals with a great variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Overall, marutham exceeded my expectations in every way. The exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and prime location make it a top choice for anyone visiting the area. I will definitely be returning on my next trip and highly recommend it to others

Stayed at studio cottage for two nights. The room was tidy with all the necessary amenities one would expect from a modern day resort. Great detailing in every aspect to present an authentic village atmosphere to the guests. The push cart snacks and dinner were delicious to say the least. Unique lake trail thru farm in the morning, pump set bath with time slot for each guest, pottery classes and much more activities keep you engaged for the whole day. Mr. Alagar, the activities in charge was prompt and very receptive to our needs. One aspect would like to see improvement from the management is the job availability of south indian traditional meals for lunch. Overall, a refreshing experience and a must visit place for the village like ambience and lip smacking food

The resort is an excellent setting to spend some quality time and reminiscence our village memories. It's packed with lots of activities. Rooms were neat and sufficient. The food and service was simple, adequate and satisfactory. Staff were down to earth and ensure the guests are comfortable and treated well during the stay. They don't go over board in that process. Their service felt genuine. Pump set kuliyal. Kayathu kattil dinner overlooking the night sky. Theppa kalam swimming. Mini water falls. Maatu vandi ride. Lawn games. Traditional games. Field walk. The cattles. Oonjal and watch tower. Heard there will be even more activities during the weekends. Would like to experience them next time around. Thanks for giving us a wonderful stay.

It's really worth the stay for the price. Starting from the check-in till checkout, everything is prompt even on a weekend. Timeslot for pumpset, pool is an excellent idea to give respect to guests privacy. Lake walk is amazing. No words to appreciate the folks performed in the cultural program. Food is delicious and making it outdoors in a homely environment is awesome. Rooms are spacious enough and the ambience is very good. Irrespective of age, everyone in the family loved it. On the suggestions side, as we have a pool and pumpset, it would be better to keep a hair dryer in the restroom. Overall, it's memorable and one of my wonderful stays.

We visited marutham on 28th may 2023. It’s an excellent place to rejuvenate ourselves. The traditional dance, craft work and pottery on weekends is a must try. On the whole enjoyed a lot with all organic food.

I had recently stayed in marutham village beach resort. Such a wonderful stay. Place was so nice. Close to nature. Felt like back in hometown. The fields and the resort were maintained so well. The pump set bath was awesome. Kids loved it. The bullock cart ride was fun. Food was really good. Restaurant service was very nice. Night dinner in our road side style was very relaxing. Over all a great place to be close to nature and the modern resort.
