Horrible stay , staff was horrible room service was horrible , the hotel looked was not same as in reality Breakfast was horrible. There was nothing good about the place. . This has happened to me for the third time

I stayed at mastiff palampur for 3 odd days. First thing i want to say that location is awesome, the staff are very nice and helpful. Ambience in the restaurant is also very good. Lastly about the room i wanna say rooms are good with a scope of further improvement.

The hotel is located on the main road towards palampur and adjacent to gopalpur zoo. The property is neat and clean. The lobby, though small is decorated beautifully, giving it a modern touch in almost every aspect. The rooms are cosy and we're hygienic. The staff is polite and courteous. The food is hygienic, tasty and rates are quite reasonable. Overall, a delightful stay.

We were 2 families and having a kid with us. As we reached the property we were greeted as the receptionist said that they had no information about the booking. After making some calls they were like ok we have your details now. No one came to pick our luggage as there was only the receptionist no other person was seen at the property. We request him and he carried our luggage to the room. It was 5 pm by then, we all were hungry so we asked for the menu and we got the reply that the cook will come at 7 pm, we were shocked and disappointed at the same time. After having a word with the only guy he agreed and provided us tea and some snacks after waiting for 1. 30 hr. It was 6. 30 pm by then. Then came one more statement from the only guy at the hotel that the last order for the food will be 9 pm. We ordered some veg and non-veg snacks all were not good. Then ordered dinner that was so spicy and not good at all. In the morning we order breakfast that was also so spicy that we could eat it with a sip of juice along. We were so disappointed with our overall stay.

The property is easy to find. The rooms are spacious, neat and clean. Staff is very professional and the food provided is also very tasty and hygienic. The surroundings are very peaceful. You must stay at this hotel.

Hotel rooms are clean and hygenic. Some staff was not wearing masks. No temperature check was present. Service was timely and staff was courteous. As we had an infant with us so the special needs were taken care of by the staff. Location is good as it is just on main road and there is a zoo nearby which is fun for kids. We took a morning walk with good views of snow capped mountains and lovely birds chirping. Food was good and homely taste.
